- 1965 was a turning point for AMC, for a number of reasons, but one of them was that it was the introduction of the Marlin, the first sporty car AMC/Rambler had ever made. Selling it would be something brand new for the sales staff, and this video would show them how to do it.
Not originally meant for public consumption.
Sent to dealers on a 33-1/3 record, to be synchronized with a filmstrip. All of the sync has been done for you!
I had never seen a Marlin in person until I recently visited the Rambler Ranch. I had always thought they looked odd in photos. Once I saw them in person, I fell in love. They are marvelously unique! As someone once told me, the exterior design only matters until you buy the car. Once it’s yours, the interior is what matters because that’s where you spend your time. The Marlin interior is wonderful … and, as I said, I grew to love the exterior once I saw it in person.
The interior is nice. AMC always had good interiors.
So cool, it's square!
Do you like the Marlin Mrs. Campbell? Of course you do! The Marlin is really popular with the ladies. Anywhere your husband goes, he's sure to grab the attention of the single women. Not like the Ambassador, which will only impress Mr. Campell's boss and make him remember the name Campbell the next time a promotion becomes available. Oh, what's that? You want to look at the Ambassador? Well, it's a little more expensive, but I'm sure you'll be the envy of all the other housewives for having a husband that can afford such things.
The front end on the 65 and 66 Marlins screamed "Suddenly, it's 1960, again!". The 1967
model was much better.
Too much, way too late!

You seem like a Miata or a Volkswagen Cabriolet prospect.
