- 1965 was the turnaround year for AMC/Rambler, and this presentation helped the sales staff grasp a new concept - that of selling prestige, something that had previously not been associated with Rambler.
Not originally meant for public consumption.
Sent to dealers on a 33-1/3 record, to be synchronized with a filmstrip. All of the sync has been done for you!
Those 65s are just my style. One of Rambler’s best years!
Today's automakers: "You can have any exterior color as long as it's red, white, black or a shade of gray and any interior color as long as it's black or gray." Car makers spend so much money on technology, while neglecting the appeal of different exterior and interior colors.
1:50 I'm surprised that hardtops caught on this late. They were pushing them in the 1950s, but I guess that was just for the high-end models. They didn't have many practical advantages, were obviously more dangerous in a rollover, and were more prone to leaks, squeaks and rattles, but they looked cool. I've always thought a "fake hardtop" with the B pillars a bit back from the frameless glass, would have had some of the appeal of a hardtop with better body integrity, but the closest thing I can name were the "colonnade hardtops" of the early 1970s.
Come sit behind the wheel said the spider to the fly! lol 😉
That was fun!
Upselling is as old as selling
RUclips premium for example?
