"Lotta Love" was written and recorded by Neil Young before Nicolette Larson's version was released as the lead single from her 1978 album 'Nicolette' 🎶

Man! What's up? I've been playing this song over and over again the last weeks, after losing track of it the last three decades; It came back in my life big time!
And now I see it uploaded everywhere and recommended to me all the time.
I guess it's gonna take a lot of love to get out of this duality thinking dominated, evil current times!
And it's gonna take a lot of love for me personally as well to watch all the sadness unfolding the coming years I feel.
      Lots of love to y'all!

Good tune indeed, but I've got to ask; why would Ike have more than double its embarked complement? You must be including the crews of all the escorts? Now I'm picturing all the 1MCs of all the frigates, destroyers & auxiliaries tied in with Ike's & playing this tune- that would be wicked awesome!

This song, and everything about it, is a masterpiece - Nicolette's voice, her sexiness, the horns that jump in at exactly the right moment! You can tell a song is great, when you never get tired of listening to it. Certainly the case here..... I'm 55 now and still sounds so good and even appreciate it more than when I first heard it in my mid teens.

I feel that way too! Also with the song “Only The Lonely” by The Motels. It just hits different as a grown up

I’m an old guy. This is just one of hundreds of great pieces of music from my younger memories. Music was such a great thing back then. She was great! I had a huge crush on her roommate, Linda Ronstadt.

Just an amazing rendition! From the raspy soulful voice of Nicole, to the impeccable flute to the saxophone. This is one of the top tunes of the 70s. So was so beautiful too!
