Ike has so far been my favorite MC, I liked chrom and Robin, I loved byleth, I enjoy alear even if they're just budget Robin, Marth is aiight, alm is a simp, corrin is bland as fuck, and celica is literally the only m.c. who was a true blue antagonist she literally fucked everything up and yet she's somehow rewarded for being a dumb cunt but anyways Ike has just had this charisma and likability noone else has had byleth came close chrom and Robin came close but Ike is Ike.
Well Ike is an absolute monster by the end of radiant dawn, managing to kill the Black Knight, Deghinsea and Ashera. The only other game that has that "power level" would be the Crusaders from FE4 with Julia at the top wielding the literal power of Naga, any Crusaders are worth an army by themselves, basically a cracked version of the Crests in 3H. Byleth is also incredible powerful but 3 hopes shows that even his god powers have limits (not sure on how "canon" could be considered) and finally Robin with the Grima would be the last contender for strongest character in FE. Grima is basically the only creature that in the end truly surpassed Naga, leaving them with the only option to time travel bullshit to win, and even then they still needed a parallel version of Grima to kill him
Good points, although a lot of that hinges on Yune's blessings lorewise. They are most likely a permanent buff though, since the ancient blessings are still active, so yeah. RD Endgame Ike has the power level to fight against half of a creator goddess. Half of someone who destroys continents accidentally just by getting too emotional. Full power of someone who can turn everyone in the world to stone in a moment. Even if he is fighting alongside his allies, it's insane by FE standards. Maybe full power Anankos is the competition? Idk his full feats, didn't finish rev, but he does have a few proper godlike powers I think.
I like to think he's heard that pen are daggers. (Fates had the quill pen as a dagger.) So instead of writing normally just tosses thousands of pens onto a paper and is disappointed they don't magically form words.

I love how much Greg Chun’s Ike has changed over time. Here, he sounds more like Yagami from the Judgement series, where as on his first time, he sounded too similar to Lukas and Ephraim.

Tantalus, the studio behind the HD ports of Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword, could probably do it. IS might not want to waste development time on porting over an old game, but outsourcing it to a studio that's proven they know how to port from Gamecube/Wii to modern platforms with finesse would be a good idea.

i love engage so much because like. idk something about the emblems continuing to live vicariously through their ring bearers is wonderful and special to me... all of the interactions that are just fond observations of the emblems towards the cast make me unreasonably happy

Ever since Smash Brawl, Ike has been my favorite FE character and I love stuff like this, it's so funny and so... Ike lol.

When did you ever need to be 1? Considering out of the most broken units in the series (who aren't custom or child units etc), only 1 I can think of who's a royal is Ryoma.
My absolute favorite part about Ike is that he's not even the chosen one, Mist was.

Royals didn't have anything particularly cool about them, they're mostly heroic and compassionate. A lot of the cooler "Lords" never even acted like royalty (i.e Hector & Chrom).

He is a very good voice actor but yeah, when i hear i hate to think of Date.

I love how much Greg Chun’s Ike has changed over time. Here, he sounds more like Yagami from the Judgement series, where as on his first time, he sounded too similar to Lukas and Ephraim.
I somehow always only hear Kaname Date from AI: The Somnium Files.

Either Just 4, or nothing.
Tantalus, the studio behind the HD ports of Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword, could probably do it. IS might not want to waste development time on porting over an old game, but outsourcing it to a studio that's proven they know how to port from Gamecube/Wii to modern platforms with finesse would be a good idea.

Honestly tier 3 promotes would have worked well with engage, I wish they were in it. Getting proficiency skills isn’t useful for anything except if you want to reclass someone. Imagine if it could impact what tier 3 promotions you could have

I kinda wish there was supports between Emblems just so we could have Ike and Dimitri bonding over accidentally breaking things.
Now there’s a question that I would like to have answered, who broke more weapons during their training as a child? I would think that it’s possibly more likely that Dimitri Broke more, but I also wouldn’t be surprised to find out that they broke the same amount of weapons when they were kids.
And i would hope for chrom aswell since he breaks a Lot of stuff when Training too
What's funny is that in his original game, Ike is just a classic mercenary who is more about skill and speed than power yet all his describtions after his game are him being a physical monster

i love engage so much because like. idk something about the emblems continuing to live vicariously through their ring bearers is wonderful and special to me... all of the interactions that are just fond observations of the emblems towards the cast make me unreasonably happy

Greg Chun is def developing his "Ike" voice and trying to make it different than the other characters he voices, like Ephraim. This Ike sounds better than when he voiced him for Smash a few years ago. Jason Adkins still my goat tho
@@malcolmfletcher2659 Yeah, I can tell that his role in Smash as Ike was his first time voicing the character, or at least when he was still new to it.
Sakurai even mentioned in the Smash Ultimate reveal during the Ike bit, was that his Path of Radiance version sounded younger and inexperienced compared to his Radiant Dawn version, so Greg had to voice two different Ike's.
