I had to record this spread out over the course of like 2 weeks because my AC's been broken for a bit and it's been like 95 degrees lately. Literally couldn't stay in my office without starting to sweat lol. That aside, fun video to make.

Individually sure. But all 4. No, if it was the case it would’ve happen. Either during or after. It’s easy to use overwhelming power. But it’s harder to hold let alone maintain power. They either would’ve bin overwhelmed eventually or exhausted to death and highly likely the village itself would rebel.

Yeah, the whole timeline of Naruto is a bit weird. People talk about Hashirama and Tobirama as if they're some distant legends, saying stuff like they "died ages ago." The whole ninja village system really can't be more than a hundred years old. It's only been five generations since Hashirama and Madara.

I just want one side story arc about tobirama, we almost know nothing about him.
Well we know that he is the second Hokage, created the shadow clone jutsu, the reanimation, got assassinated during the 1st Ninja war, hates uchiha, killed madara’s brother, and also created flying raijin (I think) but we know a good amount about him

The funny thing was that it was more likely for Hashirama to maintain "peace" if he just kept all of the bijuu. There would still be some lingering fear about Konoha going rogue, but seizing control of the world while still allowing autonomy for every single village with the exception of when the other villages decides to intervene with the affair of others.
Later down the line, there'd be an issue with that setup whenever Hashirama is no longer able to be in control though.

It's really hard to imagine any of the villages willingly going to war knowing that Hashirama is still alive and kicking
Which does back up Swag's third idea that Konoha wasn't actively part of the war at first, and we know Hashirama died during this war so he might have gotten sick or something before Konoha got dragged into it.

Explain why the peace in Naruto/Boruto is fake and villages are only at peace when they fear someone powerful like Minato or Naruto&Sasuke. After Danzo's mess in the hokage meeting the other villages did not declare war on Konoha because akatsuki declared war on the whole ninja world, in the movie after the 4th ninja war they made a mass destruction weapon able to destroy the entire moon and they were more than ready sacrifice most of Konoha best assets including naruto the guy that saved the world during peaceful times. . .
In the end pain was absolutely right, the only way to keep ninjas at peace is to give them a threat ready to smash them completely if they misbehave.

I'd say that's that case in naruto but not Boruto. That's more or less the entire point of naruto and boruto ad a whole. Naruto took his own approach and as he grew into the homage he made people grown and learn around him thus making a shit ton of friends. And Boruto is on such a lesser scale I naruto as a whole due to legitimate peace. If it was still fake during all this slice of life junk people would be getting assassinated since defenses are so lax. Even if people fear naruto and Sasuke its not going to stop people from conquering and taking what they want especially since they could just avoid the leaf entirely.

The lore of some of the villages yes but it goes way further
Before the villages was the era of warring states. All the Kaguya stuff is 1500ish years ago which makes the moon weirdly young in Naruto.
In all, the villages have only existed for about 80 years or less, meaning that the era of warring states was only about two generations or three away from the start of naruto. Yet, madara and hashirama are supposed to be seen as legendary figures whose power became mythologized? All the 3 great ninja wars and other conflicts where in that time span, meaning that the villages have been in constant war since thier founding, with small intervals of peace. The timeline just seems a little too compressed
13lade23 madra and hashirama is seen as mythical figures because they were by far the most powerful at the time. Like how naruto is starting to become a mythical figure in Boruto.
Hashirama's idealism is also probably a major cause of the first war. He could have created a unipolar hegemony if he took all the biju and achieved a more realistic stability

Don't understand why we don't get a Naruto series where they cover all the events of each of the wars. This would be infinitely more cool and would give a lot more depth to some of the interesting old characters that were reanimated by Kabuto. Instead we get this Boroto GARBAGE.

I quite like the fact that the 3 great wars affect the story long after they're over much like how our world wars were still felt long after the fighting stopped.
I genuinely wish they would've made a story about Minato in his Genin days through to the 3rd Great Ninja war... I honestly feel like we didn't see enough of him since for a majority of the series he was a big ass mystery.

Well considering the only akatsuki members around during that time aside from Pain were Konan and Kisame (and I guess Zetsu too but eh), I'd say the odds of konoha victory are a little less likely but Kisame ain't shit compared to the other 2 so I think the end result would be the same still
For years, I've struggled to understand the Naruto timeline. Several things just weren't making sense in my head. I hope Swag can help greatly in this regard.

-If the 9 Tailed Beasts were given to the five great nations, how did Takigakure get Chomei
-How did Hashirama die?
-Kakashi got Chunin one year after he became Genin. He graduated from the academy at 5, i.e. Chunin at 6. Yet, the rest of the class seemed to graduate more than a year after Kakashi. Either I'm forgetting something, there's a pothole, or my mind is broken when it comes to this topic. For more context, the rest of the class presumably graduated from the academy at 9 based on Obito's age.
-Did Kakuzu have Jiongu (Earth Grude Fear) when he tried to assassinate Hashirama or did he get it just prior to going rogue. Some sources & people say its one, others say the other.
Its popularly theorized that he attained it to escape his prison after failing to kill Hashirama. Idk where its said, tbh Sasori is probably one of the only ones that gets a fully fleshed out backstory besides main baddies and Itachi obvs.
But to add questions that I doubt have answers:
-Why didn't Orochimaru at least show any form of interest in like 3 different immortals when that's sorta what he's after? Or was he clairvoyant and knew Uchiha were the ultimate hax and that's why he was obsesses with them?
-Is Jashinism a wierd jutsu by coincidence or is Hidan strait up immortal via gift from the gods?
-Did Deidara get mouth hands from the jutsu he used, or was it a genetic trait like Kisame's appearance?
-Why did noone else besdies Lee and Guy ever try and burst the 8 Gates? Wouldn't a Hyuga like Neji be able to "strike" the gates to basically turn people into mini-nukes? Doesn't Naruto technically blow open all the gates whenever Kurama overloads his system with his chakra?
-When Kakuzu and Hidan fought Kakashi and Team Asuma. Ino previously said they were ten minutes away from their location. They're still in this blasted out woodland. Yet Shikamaru's shadow possession only lasts 5 minutes. Yet Shikamaru not only blows past this area and into his own personal area. But also has time after to throw all the rigged kunai into the trees. Hidan should've been able to break free before this point and Shikamaru's plan would've gone off too soon. Kakuzu wouldn't have been stopped by Naruto in time to prevent frying the captured Ino and Choji, but Hidan would realize he'd been tricked, not been restrained by wires, and would've likely murdered Shikamaru on the spot and not bother with another ritual.

I believe Kakuzu got his powers and betrayed Taki after they imprisoned him for failing to beat Hashirama smh.
Hashirama and Tobirama’s power got retconned in Shippuden, or the lore was all a lie.
How Chomei ended up there? I don’t think there’s anything but speculations. Maybe it was a trade off to gain trade, alliances or some other crap with Taki, because they thought it would be more beneficial to do that than attempt training a jinchuuriki in the midst of a world war. I can answer the full question y hashirama died so Tsunade talks about how her 100 healings Jutsu is her just rapidly dividing her cell so she can heal yourself and hashirama could do that on supercrack level while your cells can only split and divided so many times before their completely dyed themselves basically that's what happened with hashirama as many battles of him healing himself he basically short his own life by doing so causing him to die at such in his case a young age and so fast so he died a lot sooner than he should have despite how powerful he was and the same thing will happen to Tsunade that's why she looks like a grandma without her transformation Jutsu but since her level of ceiling isn't on the same cracker level is hashirama she won't die as fast as she is and makes sense why she is living a lot longer

This war would be such a great prequel series to see, there so much stuff that's implied to have happened in it, and it could have so many interesting plot threads.
It's also worth considering the role Hashi and Madara would have played in deterring direct incursions into the land of fire, the cause it would have given other nations to choose smaller countries as battlegrounds. Takigakure would have had a good motive to assassinate a player like Hashirama if doing so would move the battles of larger nations away from their country. Though they were likely unsuccessful, it's probable that Madara's death would have led to the same outcome, enabling the great nations to cross the Land of Fire more liberally, thereby forcing Hashirama to attempt to broker a peace. I suspect everyone at that summit died before the war's conclusion (save for the Second Kazekage). You lay out a good case why the firsts are dead, but we know that Tobirama, Mu, and Gengetsu died as well. There's also a strong suggestion that A2 was also dead before the war's conclusion, given that Ginkaku was alive at the time of A3's appointment. What I find most interesting about this knowledge is the proximity of Hashirama and Tobirama's deaths, and that it implies that most of Tobirama's contributions to the village were completed before his appointment as Hokage.

The Hidden Village system was probably only around 100 years old. That shows how cutthroat the ninja world is. In the short time from Hashirama to Naruto, the world had already been through four great ninja wars, four Hokages and countless other Kage had died, assassinations, invasions, the Uzumaki Clan got wiped out, so did the Uchiha. The Senju seem to have died out a bit (not sure). It seems most ninja didn’t even make it to old age. Especially Kage. Hiruzen and Onoki maybe be the only two who did.
Yeah, there's some rough timeliness out there. When you think about it - Tsunade is the granddaughter of the 1sr and she's about old enough to have grandchildren, which means the Shinobi world is like 5 generations old (including founding) at most.
