Nah its more like this super supposed overpowered character portrayed in a battle royale or a multiplayer 1st person shooter such as when revenant was first introduced in Apex legends who supposedly lore eise was an immortal legend, but ingame gameplay proved otherwise. He was literally handicapped with his hitbox, and they even nerfed him further by decreasing the shots it took to finish him off, just like how the writers handicapped Sasuke out of his Rinnegan. The same shenanigan was pulled in Mortal Kombat 2010 when we saw an Elder God boosted Raiden giving the impression he was going to be overpowered against Shao Khan. Well the last fight proved otherwise since it was nothing but for show, and Shao Khan's punches still took massive Hp.
"Sasuke can longer use any of the classic rinnegan abilities". The ones that he never used once in all of Boruto no matter how good they would've been in a variety of situations including all of his fights.

It exited my life as quickly as it came into it because it's so mind numbingly bad. If Naruto was an 8/10 then Boruto was like a 3/10 at best. It's only redeeming quality was a single awesomely animated fight with Momoshiki. Everything else is terrible written, lacks depth and charm, and has lackluster action.
@Volt you're just objectively wrong. Naruto is easily more than 2x as good as boruto. Actually boruto isn't even good but most of Naruto is. It's got some silly parts in the war arc. But even the worst parts of Naruto are better than the best parts of boruto. That's just an objective and irrefutable fact by ever conceivable metric; story, plot, character development, plot and power consistency, character designs, action, narrative, setting, power system, creativity, etc.

in the anime when naruto gets kidnapped, he lands a few taijutsu blows in his base form, an same for sasuke. yet, when naruto activates the nine tails cloak, it seems sasuke also powers up...just by pushing his hair out the way of his rinnegan. Maybe thats how he "turns it on"? Kinda of like how kakashi used to have a permanent sharingan that he would keep covered until it was time to use..

I think there's going to be a way to restore his Rinnegan abilities. It's going to be one of those situations where Sauske is going to turn it down just like he turned down the left arm Tsunade made for him but I think that if you implant Hashirama's cells into that eye socket he'd gain access to the regenerative abilities that Hashirama had and Obito had his arm regrow several times after having it cut off in several points of the series. Also we've seen Hashirama's cells work in tandum with Uchiha DNA by giving Danzo access to high level ocular jutsu while being an average Kage level ninja.
If he gets Hashirama cells, in a lot of years or decades even he'll get his Rinnegan back. He could just even take Naruto's chakra too. Since if you mix Indra & Ashura's chakra together, you get the Rinnegan. But it takes a long time. We've seen Madara get his Rinnegan this way. So I don't see why Sasuke can't too?
It probably didnt regrow for Obito. He probably took one of Zetsu's arm like Madara did when he got the Rinnegan back. Just chop it off and stick it on, voilá

It ultimately doesn’t matter what we think. They’ll make Sasuke as weak as they want him to be to service the plot regardless of any established logic we try to use. We thought Naruto would still have access to SPSM but it turns out he lost that with Kurama. My guess is that they’ll make Sasuke about as strong as Naruto since in the past Kishi has always tried to portray their strength as about the same

Honestly this is the kind of thing that pulls me out of this series. Things don’t flow in a natural way due to the in-verse narrative, everything that happens is a response to the direction the author wants the show to take. Obviously that’s the case with any piece of fiction but the differential here is how blatantly obvious it is. Jutsus are getting too powerful? Have every villain conveniently be able to absorb them. Anime is called boruto? Have naruto and sasuke lose their powers. Idk I guess there are things to like about the series but personally I can’t get too invested in it.
Naruto still has Six Paths. There’s a difference between Six Paths and Six Paths Sage Mode, when Naruto first got it he was uses the Six Paths Mode (it was only his eyes). Naruto’s Six Paths only had his eyes with cross eye pupils, but Six Paths Sage Mode is literally Six Paths Mode + KCM2. So if my logic is correct, Naruto still has Six Paths but not the Six Paths Sage Mode since that would be Six Paths + KCM2.

Sasuke is a genius. Giving him the rinnegan would be overkill, yet the writes decided to give him it. So how do they fix this mistake? They make it so the child prodigy doesn’t use 99% is his abilities which make him stupidly overpowered :)
I think when Sasuke originally lost his vision his susanoo deactivated because he only had the regular Mangekyo, but the eternal mangekyo is probably Literally ETERNAL, meaning even if he loses both his eyes he can still use sharingan based powers like the susanoo, i think it's also possible to assume that the process of taking someone else's eyes to get the Eternal mangekyo works by binding some of the soul and chakra of the former owner of the eyes to the new one allowing him to use both mangekyo powers, also another thing that supports this theory is that all the eyes of the Uchiha clan were stored in perfect condition by Obito, which would be impossible IRL, the eyes would become useless nearly instantly after death of the user.
When his susanoo deactivated he was absolutely exhausted from his fight, he simply didn’t have enough chakra to sustain his susanoo, his literally show numerous times you can use the susanoo with one eye or being completely blind, the only case you don’t have the susanoo is if you’ve never had both eyes with the mangekyo like obito did.

The way I prefer to look at the rinnegan is as a focus/ non-linear amplifier moreso than anything else. The rinnegan doesn't just make you 'stronger'. It magnifies your chakra by offering a greater level of focus and greater ease at utilizing this more-concentrated chakra. With the rinnegan, the name of the game is efficiency, moreso than raw strength. In the same way that ninjas use chakra to enhance their bodies, the rinnegan offers the means to significantly amplify these enhancements by strengthening the passive and active focus of the user. Sasuke's rinnegan basically took what was already there and amplified it by concentrating it all with greater efficacy. The reason his amp was so strong is because he also received the 6 paths chakra, which added to his own reserves and THEN was concentrated and amplified even further by his 6 paths rinnegan. All of this to say that yes, losing the rinnegan should make Sasuke significantly physically weaker since he has lost the amplifying qualities of the rinnegan and thus is no longer able to concentrate his reserves to the same level of efficiency or density as before. His chakra is just as strong as before, but he can't use it nearly as well. I base this largely on the fact that Sasuke has been able to keep up with KCM Naruto since receiving his rinnegan when he was barely able to even follow the movements of the 4th Raikage without relying heavily on Susanoo's protection with just a regular mangekyou. Naruto in just base KCM was able to completely outpace A at full speed and this was BEFORE he managed KCM2 and became that much stronger and faster, then again with adding sage mode to KCM2 then AGAIN with Six paths sage mode's additional bonkers increase. If scaling is even remotely consistent (it isn't but lets assume for a moment that it is) then Narruto should be so fast that he could run across the village, make a sandwich, eat the sandwich, and come back to wash rinnegan Sasuke before he can even react. But Sasuke miraculously able to keep up and in some cases even outpace Naruto despite not training his body at all between his fight with A and his fight with Madara alongside Naruto. Obviously he got stronger, but my point is that improving his eyes via EMS and Rinnegan seem to have made his actual physical parameters exponentially stronger and faster in a way that can only be explained by his chakra levels and usage improving enough to match Naruto's.

This is why I can't take Boruto seriously. You basically need to spend the first couple years depowering Naruto and Sasuke because their existent removes almost all tension. Power scaling is always a bitch but I prefer the way DBZsuper did it. Make enemies much stronger. Can you imagine if they spent the first half of DBZsuper depowering Goku/Vegeta?
Considering other cases with a loss of a Sharingan, Sasuke most definitely still has his Susanoo. Only difference is that his Rinne-gone, so a massive loss in hax that he never used

when obito wanted sakura to destroy the rinnegan, it was with a kunai, so i would say it’s safe to assume that any damage to the rinnegan renders it useless. Also because they seem keen on nerfing sasuke and naruto to the ground, it’s very likely that the rinnegan is nothing more than a chunk of useless flesh inside his skull

I mean, he should have more chakra available without the rinnegan draining so much of his chakra. He’s always shown with the EMS and Rinne-sharingan active at all times (he can lose tomoe for his rinnegan when he’s running low which is an indicator he’s lower on chakra). He can still use susanoo, Amaterasu, fire style, lightning cloak, chidori, etc. Sasuke isn’t a big damage blitzing character, he’s more tactical and methodical. He can definitely use susanoo which still has the strongest defense in the series. He can still fight at his current speed bc of the lighting ability he covers himself with, he’s just missing chibaku tensei, the portals and the swap ability. I think he’s going to be portrayed as noticeably weaker but IMO this should make him fight longer due to having less chakra drainage.

idk why you'd think the rinnegan drains his chakra more than it buffs it . its not like kakashi's sharringan which cant be deactivated and his body wasn't equipped to handle. I agree it takes energy to activate the tomoe like with the sharingan which is why he turns them off after he finishes a fight, but the power and reflexes the eye gives him are way bigger than any downside. Besides its not like him running out of chakra mid fight was ever an issue outside of the time travel filler, (even then he didn't run out of chakra naturally through fighting. he just had it ripped out of him by urashiki) the biggest problem with sasuke right now is that every fight he's in he's either fighting with Naruto or Boruto. which mean's he usually gets thrust into a support role and can't shine on his own. its even worse with boruto because he has to keep the kid from dieing while fighting so he gets baited into tanking attacks he would normally just avoid.
I agree and disagree with your statement. Yes he has more chakra available- but only available to use weaker jutsu and a less variety of jutsu. Im pretty sure most ppl would rather create a meteor that can trap/crush 100 ninja VS shooting 100 fireballs that may give burn damage to 100 ninja. He’s definitely weaker now but i think Sasuke is a lil bit stonger than when he took off the bandages after implanting Itachi eyes. Plus (after reading your comment again) - After getting Rinnegan, none of those jutsus u mentioned seemed to drain him at all. It was only the Rinnegan jutsus that seemed to deplete his chakra. Which makes sense bekuz they are so powerful & hax. Perfect example is the Isshiki fight. After dimension hopping, place switching and getting rapeStomped…. He still was able to ameratsu BoruShiki without any problem. So yes, hes going to be able to fight ‘longer’ but fireballs, chidoris, susanoo and even ameratsu has not had any affect on any meaningful opponent Naruto, Obito, Killer Bee, Itachi, Jigen, Isshiki had no problem dealing with EMS Sasuke jutsus. Even Raikage dodged ameratsu without a hitch. And Kabuto was basically toying around bkuz he didnt want to destroy Sasuke’s body. Shiiittttt even a blind Madara rapestomped EMS sasuke as well. So he’s not going to be “portrayed as noticeably weaker” he actually IS way weaker. The only thing that can save him is learning kamui or creating a whole new fighting style based on ameratsu and lightning cloak - To where if u hit him u have to sacrifice a limb like Raikage did. But even still…. Unless he’s fused with Juugo- Otsusukis can absorb and nullify all his ninjutsu So yes, hes way weaker and fighting longer means nothing at the upper levels of power scaled enemies.
I’ve always wondered why can’t they just heal the eye? Sure it got stabbed, but it’s not like it was gouged out, and between the advancements in tech and healing jutsu I feel like it should be possible

Another example is how in Shippuden they said that Sasukes chakra increased exponentially after getting EMS. So it should be the same with the rinnegan.
sadly in boruto sasuke was badly nerfed given he possess genjutsu of itachi(except tsukiomi) and rinnegan like madra and pain (limbo + 6attacks + other powers if exsist) now all he does is teleport not even cool pain summouning and damn out of chakra as if he had more chakra during shippudin btw can saske awaken rinnegan like madra using naruto(ashura)'s cells?

I think the rinnegan gave sauske the ability to break down jutsu better as well, as he was not able to identify madaras limbo clone without it. So any information of advanced jutsu he could have learned would also contribute to his strength now even after its been lost
If the rinnegan is still functional after being gouged out of someone’s eyes, and not even being surgically implanted into another user, then yes Sasuke's rinnegan should still be functional (as in not completely destroyed). But obviously, he doesn’t have the genetics to heal the eye. The rules may differ now since we’re in Boruto, but if they get some sage of six paths chakra, that eye should be good as new. If the rules ARE the same, we know that the rinnegan does not easily rot away and most likely does not need to be preserved like a normal sharigan. Obito was able to retrieve the sharigan from Nagato's dead, mal-nutritioned corpse with no issues. OR, they could experiment with Otsutsuki genes since Kamaki is already 80% and perform a surgery on Sasuke's eyes(that is if Amado agrees to comply). Honestly speaking, none of these suggestions are impossible, but they are all dependent on what Sasuke chooses to do with his eye (just like his decision with his arm).

He no longer uses Chibaku Tensei, he no longer uses Kirin, he hardly uses Chidori anymore. Sasuke is only strong if the plot demands it, otherwise he’s stuck playing second fiddle to naruto.
Theoretically Sasuke should actually have better chakra reserves in future battles now that he isn’t starting every fight already weakened from dimensional travel. And he won’t have to worry about saving chakra for the perfect Susanoo or burning through chakra by spamming his body switching move anymore. He should be free to diversify his arsenal with more abilities that aren’t as taxing on his chakra

I think being able to retain his EMS abilities from his other eye makes sense. Madara used his abilities with NO eyes at all. Completely blind and he still did it.
@@VotingHarmony That was because you dont lose the Susanoo once you awaken it. You can lose Mangekyou abilities though when you lose the eye (Kakashi for example cant use Kamui anymore). They could just retcon it and say that the chakra is still the same. once the uchiha have a traumatic event, chakra is released to awaken ms so thats a permanent change in chakra. That would somehow retcon how hed be able to use his MS abilities. Its a plot hole tho
I think Sasuke's Susano'o disappearing due to his blindness was more so the shock of him going blind/pain associated with it, and not maintaining the chakra necessary to sustain Susano'o.
An ocular jutsu is a JUTSU, meaning, a manifestation of the user's chakra. This is WHY Sasuke gained the Rinnegan when he was given Six Paths Chakra. Presumably, a lot of that chakra is physically stored in the eye, but it's hard to believe Sasuke would lose all of his Six Paths Chakra just because he lost the eye which was being modified by it. In other words, technically he should be able to turn his other eye into a Rinnegan (Just like Madara did by combining Hashirama's cells with his own and thereby acquiring a trace of six paths chakra), but it would probably take a while since he has to replenish that chakra first.... and that's assuming he even CAN replenish it. Since he's not a Sage, it's not like he can transform nature energy into it like Naruto does, so, he might have to get a graft from Naruto's body or something like that.
Yeah, Sasuke still got Hashirama Cells from Kabuto, which is obviously the main reason why he got the Rinnegan, Hagoromo just accelerated the Evolution of Sasuke's Left EMS into Rinnegan by putting Hagoromo's Yin Chakra on the arm at the same side of his eye so if Kishimoto still has a semblance of being logical Sasuke's Right Eye should also evolve into Rinnegan later on. Sarada needs a super Dojutsu of her own and there's no way she can keep up with Mitsuki and Boruto if she cannot get Rinnegan at least, which as we know only possible if their blood is at least Half Otsutsuki (Indra cannot develop Rinnegan because his Otsutsuki Blood was too diluted) so she needs Sasuke to give her his remaining eye or maybe steal Madara's Rinnegan again.
I was actually looking for this, throughout the video i started thinking: what if sasuke trained in some form of sagemode in between naruto and boruto so to speak. But then you also start thinking about what led up to his rinnegan being damaged and how he would honestly be way to overpowered if he could actually manage sagemode. Sasuke is more special when it comes to those kinds of things, he can still use both Amaturasu and flame control. And Madara was blind, while Sasuke still has ONE NON-BLIND EYE
I feel like what they're going for is Naruto is a much more skilled version of Sage Naruto and Sasuke is a much more skilled version of EMS Sasuke and it seems like they're trying to keep them about equal, from what it looks like to me minus some brief points in the series like right after the Pain arc and before the Five Kage Summit they have been pretty consistently equal, with Sasuke having the slight advantage probably up until that point and Naruto arguably having the slight advantage later on, I think that's actually be a mental thing though Sasuke being able to keep both of his Mangekyo Sharingan powers and Susano'o does seem a little inconsistent and confusing comparing him to Obito, but it's possible that maybe it works differently when you have had those things previously and then the eye is taken away instead of never having the eye (it takes two Mangekyo Sharingan to unlock all of the powers but you only need to keep one to retain them) either that or the fact that the eye is still technically there is allowing him to keep some of the abilities, either way it would be a bit simpler if they just reverted Sasuke's eye back, I didn't get into this series until last year but knowing other people are a bit confused too helps me feel better
Hey Swag, just thought that you should definitely dip into jujutsu Kaisen the same way you did naruto. I’m betting a huge amount of your fan base would love those videos.
I'm not even 15% sure on this, but I think it would be in his character to hide the fact that his Rinnegan may actually still be functional. His wife one of the greatest medical ninja around, and with no looming threats beyond Momoshiki, there's no reason for him to act if though it is functional. Also with the looming threat of Momoshiki, it would clearly be the best idea to make Momoshiki believe that the Rinnegan's gone, so he could use it as a trump card. I'm not saying any of this is true. I'm just saying that it is within possibility and an interesting thing to think about.
As much as this would be nice for the protagonists but it would come out as too convenient for the story. Sticking to the rinnegan to be destroyed would be the best thing for the story as it doesn't negate the fact that both Naruto and Sasuke got the nerf that they really needed for the story to progress interestingly. It's like Might Guy suddenly just reveals that his leg isn't actually broken and steals the show.
You should make a video explaining the reverse summoning jutsu. I saw your summoning jutsu explained video but i didn't hear anything about the reverse summon in it and it confuses me a bit, so it would be cool for you to explain it, if not that's fine and i hope you have a good day
Madara being able to project the Susano'o has me fully under the belief that once you unlock EMS, the Susano'o and his MS ability are no longer tied to the strength of his eye, but rather his whole body now. A full link with his chakra network, so to speak. It's why Sasuke doesn't bleed from his eyes anymore, and why his Susano'o isn't able to dissipate by any physical damage or strain through his eyes like he did before he nabbed EMS. It has fully integrated the power into him. This is just my own opinion of course, but I'd say it's good evidence to say that Sasuke would have access to his full Susano'o forms. The Perfect Susano'o can be weaker as a result of having only one eye now, but I wouldn't say that his access to any of the forms is restricted by having the rinnegan taken. Hell, if Madara could do it with no eyes, a stronger adult Sasuke could absolutely pull it off. Edit: Sasuke does bleed through his eyes actually. Definitely wrong on that one, but I still stand firm on the Susano'o point.
The problem is your trying to say sasuke can do everything madara can, that’s just not the case. Madara had sage amps nd a sage body. He was killing an ems sasuke with no eyes 👀, sasuke did not get the ps until he got his rinnegon. So yeah like you said it’s conjecture whether he can use it or not
@@DieHard1912 I wouldn't say that sage mode or having Hashirama cells affects the ability to access PS. Madara had the ability to go PS with only EMS like when he was alive in his fight with Hashirama. He didn't require the rinnegan for that, so the evidence is still sound in my book.
It really is up to where the writers want to take his character, there are so many different ways it can go it’s really just up to how the choose to write it. I think the rinnegan was simply just an eye, and gave him special abilities but the chakra he was given from the sage is where his raw power boost came from. His eye did get stabbed, however I believe just through logic it will heal over time and he will gain some sort of use out of it, it wasn’t sealed or removed. We have yet to see him fight without it so it’s definitely a guessing game as there are so many different routes they could take. Regardless I do think sasuke will be stronger than naruto in his current state if it came to a straight up fight.
I think Sasuke lost his susano-o when he went blind more out of shock. Like, he stopped manifesting it because he was distracted, not because he couldn't. Since every other Uchiha seems to not need their eyes to use it, I feel like that would be the case, but I'm fine with being wrong here.
It could also be that everyone else who used it blind had a lot more experience with a complete susanoo. Sasuke only had a susanoo rib cage earlier that day.
I always assumed Sasuke's rinnegan was the equivalent of a pair of rinnegan+one EMS so him losing it would do the following in therms of how powerful his multipliers are now: -reduce his EMS amp to less than half -remove his rinnegan amp -reduce his choku tomoe amp to less than half -can only use regular full body susanoo at best
Madara still had access to his MS powers when he had no eyes. I don't think it's the eyes that allow the Uchiha to use their signature jutsus, it's in their genes. It just has to be "unlocked." Once that has occurred, they can use it under any circumstance.
I think it's trash writing tho, Kakashi ain't got the genes and was able to use Kamui to it's maximum extent really and wasn't able to use it after being eye snatched by Madara. Sure it could just be the Susano that works after unlocking but Kakashi unlocked that as well (even tho it was some dumbass ghost bullshit).

We really need sasuke to get some character development , but idk how. he was pretty much fully developed in shippuden but it would be interesting to see a new story about him which could result in some sort of power boost like Naruto getting baryon mode (but giving sasuke such a development pretty much guarantees we are getting closer to a death scene, if the writers want to make a good one)
Honestly, I think he's gonna get sidelined soon. They made him lose his Rinnegan (which he could have easily dodged imo) and the power scaling of the enemies is just getting even more insane. Either that or he's gonna die soon (with the amount of red flags he had in the manga), which will make Sarada awaken MS so she can become somewhat relevant in fights since she kinda got left behind due to said power scaling. It might be possible for him to get the Rinnegan back because of advanced ninja technology but I feel like the writers should've brought that up already if it was possible. I don't think just getting an eye from Shin will work either-- to begin with, those are Itachi's eyes, not Sasuke's. We don't know if Sasuke can activate the Rinnegan if he got another person's eye. Even alive Madara in the war had to get his (Izuna's) eyes back to use his Rinnegan powers. Now that I think about it, didn't Edo Hashirama give Sasuke a jutsu of some kind that was never revealed or used during the war? They might bring that up.
Remember that Madara died with his real body at the end of Shippuden. Which means that his eyes are still available. I believe Kanoha took his body and his eyes and store it somewhere. They will be giving sasuke the eyes soon. Also Fugaku still have his eye somewhere. Kanoha could be storing his eyes somewhere. Same goes with Sasuke original eyes. The eye that sasuke is using is Itachi.

I feel talking about Sasuke's Rinnegan is very hard to do as it is quite literally the only one of its kind. I also feel that a lot of the things we know or assume can be changed by the author. If Sasuke puts in his old eye with the MS Sharingan will it change to an EMS because he already has the imprint/chakra of it? Can his old eye change in to a Rinnegan from some unknown mean? Can he awaken a new Rinnegan from either Hashirama's cells or Naruto's cells? On to the Susano'o I don't think it's fair to compare Madara and Itachi to Sasuke. Sasuke literally spammed his MS almost as soon as he got going blind far earlier than either of those two. They had far more practice and knowledge of the jutsu that they could keep it functional/activate while blind.
It's always worth bearing in mind that two rinnegan were enough to completely overhaul Nagato into an honest-to-god deity. While we can only guess how strong he would've been without it, with just Tendo, he was basically on par with a Sage Naruto, Naruto who would later go on to basically run the kage gauntlet. As a nerfed edo, he tanked a lariat and roflstomped both KCM1 Naruto and V2 Bee at the same time. Regardless of how these scenes are interpreted, that's probably leaps and bounds above what, say, most base form Uzamakis we saw up until that point should be capable of doing. Sasuke losing a unique ninja-jesus rinnegan is going to have a catastrophic effect on his power level, with this in mind.

Which is why there was more focus on his seal than his rinnegan, also when Sasuke tells Naruto to use his Six paths sennin chakra on Madara, Sasuke also says "And I too have Six Paths chakra" then the camera pans to his seal, rather than his Rinnegan, narratively implying that his massive boost comes from that. It still isnt very clear whether the rinnegan comes directly from Hago, or whether his rinnegan comes from the Hashi cells given to him by Kabuto AND THEN, enhanced by Hago due to that being half of the catalyst that allowed Hago to appear, along with Naruto finally receiving all tailed beast chakra, these were pre-requisites. 10:55 - In the Boruto anime, around like 3 episodes ago, Sasuke straight up tells Sarada that he lost his rinnegan and that was a "large source of power for him". Meaning no, there shouldnt be any chakra clinging to him at all from his rinnegan. I personally dont believe Sasuke can use the PS any longer, as that was only granted to him once he had gotten his Rinnegan. He isn't like Madara or Kakashi who were able to unlock it whilst still only wielding their EMS/MS. Him being stronger than Naruto now is fairly iffy, considering even Naruto as a teen with Sage Mode was still relative to his KCM state - We see this when he fights the 3rd Raikage, as well as when he bodied half Kurama. This is a much much weaker Naruto, with a much less mastered SM, and even though back then it was only half Kurama. Narutos natural progression MAY possibly scale his Sage Mode to F-KCM chakra mode, but I guess we'll see in this next chapter coming up! P.S - The way Sasuke kind of spoke to Naruto about Boruto, and about him losing Kurama it seems like Sasuke was sort of hinting at him being stronger through the condescending way he was speaking to Naruto, but thats kind of always been Sasuke' character so this may not be important.

Something I'd like to point out that I see no one talking about is the fact that using the Rinnegan (at least in Boruto) used up a considerable amount of chakra for Sasuke, as least most noticable when using the dimensional transportation jutsu. I would say there's an argument that Sasuke could become more of an efficient fighter without the relying on the Rinnegan's huge chakra cost. Keyword there: Efficient, not stronger. He could last much longer in fight's than previously seen in Boruto, but not use the extravagant power he once had.

It is a significant-enough chakra cost for them to usually deactivate the sharingan when not in use. Sasuke's rinnegan was not only a rinnegan but also had sharingan abilities, a rinnegan can't be usually be deactivated. Usual users of rinnegan, otsutsuki, have insane chakra pools built-up over millenia that sasuke doesn't have, not only the eye is always activated, rinnegan dojutsu also have immense otsutsuki-scale chakra costs that only someone like jinchuriki madara can use frequently without consequence. Specially after losing the moon crest and the six-paths chakra with it, the rinnegan should have considerable cost to sasuke, much more than amaterasu which he already can't spam in rapid succession without costs.

I by no means claim to know much about the inner-lore and workings of Naruto, so these are just some questions I have. For the base form, I guess you could say that's when his Rinnegan needs to 'recharge' or whatever you call it when the tomoe on it dissapear. For the Amaterasu part, wouldn't he still have it regardless because it's an EMS? Would Sasuke be able to pull a Madara and kind of grow a new Rinnegan by implanting Senju cells? I have a feeling with all this ninja tech in boruto sasuke might replace his eye with a bionic one with more abilities similar to delta’s eyes but more advanced and more abilities that would be similar to his old rinnegan either that or he might just yoink one from an otsutsuki
I was under the impression that Sasuke's Rinnesharingan was a constant drain on his chakra reserves. Losing the eye might actually be a stamina buff for him. But one thing that writers seem to willingly overlook is how losing the eye gives Sasuke an opportunity to get even stronger. Sasuke was offered to get a Hashirama cells arm in the past, just like Naruto has, but he declined. Should he accept, he'll gain access to the Rinnegan, which will give him some of his tools back. But since this is a regular Rinnegan, he should be able to revert it back to EMS and turn the thing completely off / on at will like Madara did. Now, Konoha might have gone full retard and gotten rid of their stockpile of Sharingans, but I'm fairly certain Orochimaru knows how to get his hands on one. (You can just grab a Shin, there's plenty of those.) Since eyes are apparently plug and play, we might just have buffed Sasuke by providing him with two RInnegans and an eye he can afford to sacrifice for Izanagi / Izanami. Now, I'm fairly certain this will never happen, but it's an interesting "what if" scenario. Losing so much firepower while there still are Otsutsukis running around the galaxy chopping down trees might force him to accept a new arm.

Sasuke already got Hashirama cells from Kabuto, that's what awakened his first Rinnegan. Why he didn't just use the Asura path to give himself a left arm once Jigen was known to be stronger than them, IDK. Other than the man is absurdly stubborn about atoning.

There's two options I see with Amaterasu: 1) The writers forgot which Sharingan eye does what and flipped Amaterasu/Kagutsuchi around -- meaning he can't use Kagutsuchi now but he *can* use Amaterasu. 2) Because he acquired Itachi's eyes and enhanced his Mangekyo Sharingan, he has both Itachi's innate Amaterasu ability as well as his own ability to manipulate it via Kagutsuchi -- all in the same eye. Too early to tell which of the two.
Or it doesn't matter which eye actually, both eyes are still the same eyes, just on different side of your face, Sasuke just trained both so that he can access all MS abilities in both of his eyes. Obito literally did long range Kamui many times in the 4th war, destroying headcanon that Obito only has "short ranged kamui"

Nah its more like this super supposed overpowered character portrayed in a battle royale or a multiplayer 1st person shooter such as when revenant was first introduced in Apex legends who supposedly lore eise was an immortal legend, but ingame gameplay proved otherwise. He was literally handicapped with his hitbox, and they even nerfed him further by decreasing the shots it took to finish him off, just like how the writers handicapped Sasuke out of his Rinnegan.

It exited my life as quickly as it came into it because it's so mind numbingly bad. If Naruto was an 8/10 then Boruto was like a 3/10 at best. It's only redeeming quality was a single awesomely animated fight with Momoshiki. Everything else is terrible written, lacks depth and charm, and has lackluster action.

I think there's going to be a way to restore his Rinnegan abilities.
It's going to be one of those situations where Sauske is going to turn it down just like he turned down the left arm Tsunade made for him but I think that if you implant Hashirama's cells into that eye socket he'd gain access to the regenerative abilities that Hashirama had and Obito had his arm regrow several times after having it cut off in several points of the series. Also we've seen Hashirama's cells work in tandum with Uchiha DNA by giving Danzo access to high level ocular jutsu while being an average Kage level ninja.
If he gets Hashirama cells, in a lot of years or decades even he'll get his Rinnegan back. He could just even take Naruto's chakra too. Since if you mix Indra & Ashura's chakra together, you get the Rinnegan. But it takes a long time. We've seen Madara get his Rinnegan this way. So I don't see why Sasuke can't too?

Honestly this is the kind of thing that pulls me out of this series. Things don’t flow in a natural way due to the in-verse narrative, everything that happens is a response to the direction the author wants the show to take. Obviously that’s the case with any piece of fiction but the differential here is how blatantly obvious it is. Jutsus are getting too powerful? Have every villain conveniently be able to absorb them. Anime is called boruto? Have naruto and sasuke lose their powers. Idk I guess there are things to like about the series but personally I can’t get too invested in it.
Naruto still has Six Paths. There’s a difference between Six Paths and Six Paths Sage Mode, when Naruto first got it he was uses the Six Paths Mode (it was only his eyes). Naruto’s Six Paths only had his eyes with cross eye pupils, but Six Paths Sage Mode is literally Six Paths Mode + KCM2. So if my logic is correct, Naruto still has Six Paths but not the Six Paths Sage Mode since that would be Six Paths + KCM2.

I think when Sasuke originally lost his vision his susanoo deactivated because he only had the regular Mangekyo, but the eternal mangekyo is probably Literally ETERNAL, meaning even if he loses both his eyes he can still use sharingan based powers like the susanoo, i think it's also possible to assume that the process of taking someone else's eyes to get the Eternal mangekyo works by binding some of the soul and chakra of the former owner of the eyes to the new one allowing him to use both mangekyo powers, also another thing that supports this theory is that all the eyes of the Uchiha clan were stored in perfect condition by Obito, which would be impossible IRL, the eyes would become useless nearly instantly after death of the user.
When his susanoo deactivated he was absolutely exhausted from his fight, he simply didn’t have enough chakra to sustain his susanoo, his literally show numerous times you can use the susanoo with one eye or being completely blind, the only case you don’t have the susanoo is if you’ve never had both eyes with the mangekyo like obito did.

The way I prefer to look at the rinnegan is as a focus/ non-linear amplifier moreso than anything else. The rinnegan doesn't just make you 'stronger'. It magnifies your chakra by offering a greater level of focus and greater ease at utilizing this more-concentrated chakra. With the rinnegan, the name of the game is efficiency, moreso than raw strength. In the same way that ninjas use chakra to enhance their bodies, the rinnegan offers the means to significantly amplify these enhancements by strengthening the passive and active focus of the user.
Sasuke's rinnegan basically took what was already there and amplified it by concentrating it all with greater efficacy. The reason his amp was so strong is because he also received the 6 paths chakra, which added to his own reserves and THEN was concentrated and amplified even further by his 6 paths rinnegan.
All of this to say that yes, losing the rinnegan should make Sasuke significantly physically weaker since he has lost the amplifying qualities of the rinnegan and thus is no longer able to concentrate his reserves to the same level of efficiency or density as before. His chakra is just as strong as before, but he can't use it nearly as well.
I base this largely on the fact that Sasuke has been able to keep up with KCM Naruto since receiving his rinnegan when he was barely able to even follow the movements of the 4th Raikage without relying heavily on Susanoo's protection with just a regular mangekyou. Naruto in just base KCM was able to completely outpace A at full speed and this was BEFORE he managed KCM2 and became that much stronger and faster, then again with adding sage mode to KCM2 then AGAIN with Six paths sage mode's additional bonkers increase. If scaling is even remotely consistent (it isn't but lets assume for a moment that it is) then Narruto should be so fast that he could run across the village, make a sandwich, eat the sandwich, and come back to wash rinnegan Sasuke before he can even react. But Sasuke miraculously able to keep up and in some cases even outpace Naruto despite not training his body at all between his fight with A and his fight with Madara alongside Naruto. Obviously he got stronger, but my point is that improving his eyes via EMS and Rinnegan seem to have made his actual physical parameters exponentially stronger and faster in a way that can only be explained by his chakra levels and usage improving enough to match Naruto's.

I mean, he should have more chakra available without the rinnegan draining so much of his chakra. He’s always shown with the EMS and Rinne-sharingan active at all times (he can lose tomoe for his rinnegan when he’s running low which is an indicator he’s lower on chakra). He can still use susanoo, Amaterasu, fire style, lightning cloak, chidori, etc.
Sasuke isn’t a big damage blitzing character, he’s more tactical and methodical. He can definitely use susanoo which still has the strongest defense in the series. He can still fight at his current speed bc of the lighting ability he covers himself with, he’s just missing chibaku tensei, the portals and the swap ability. I think he’s going to be portrayed as noticeably weaker but IMO this should make him fight longer due to having less chakra drainage.

idk why you'd think the rinnegan drains his chakra more than it buffs it . its not like kakashi's sharringan which cant be deactivated and his body wasn't equipped to handle. the biggest problem with sasuke right now is that every fight he's in he's either fighting with Naruto or Boruto. which mean's he usually gets thrust into a support role and can't shine on his own. its even worse with boruto because he has to keep the kid from dieing while fighting so he gets baited into tanking attacks he would normally just avoid.

Plus (after reading your comment again) - After getting Rinnegan, none of those jutsus u mentioned seemed to drain him at all. It was only the Rinnegan jutsus that seemed to deplete his chakra. Which makes sense bekuz they are so powerful & hax. Perfect example is the Isshiki fight. After dimension hopping, place switching and getting rapeStomped…. He still was able to ameratsu BoruShiki without any problem.

If the rinnegan is still functional after being gouged out of someone’s eyes, and not even being surgically implanted into another user, then yes Sasuke's rinnegan should still be functional (as in not completely destroyed). But obviously, he doesn’t have the genetics to heal the eye. The rules may differ now since we’re in Boruto, but if they get some sage of six paths chakra, that eye should be good as new.
If the rules ARE the same, we know that the rinnegan does not easily rot away and most likely does not need to be preserved like a normal sharigan. Obito was able to retrieve the sharigan from Nagato's dead, mal-nutritioned corpse with no issues.
OR, they could experiment with Otsutsuki genes since Kamaki is already 80% and perform a surgery on Sasuke's eyes(that is if Amado agrees to comply). Honestly speaking, none of these suggestions are impossible, but they are all dependent on what Sasuke chooses to do with his eye (just like his decision with his arm).

They could just retcon it and say that the chakra is still the same. once the uchiha have a traumatic event, chakra is released to awaken ms so thats a permanent change in chakra. That would somehow retcon how hed be able to use his MS abilities. Its a plot hole tho

I think Sasuke's Susano'o disappearing due to his blindness was more so the shock of him going blind/pain associated with it, and not maintaining the chakra necessary to sustain Susano'o.

An ocular jutsu is a JUTSU, meaning, a manifestation of the user's chakra. This is WHY Sasuke gained the Rinnegan when he was given Six Paths Chakra. Presumably, a lot of that chakra is physically stored in the eye, but it's hard to believe Sasuke would lose all of his Six Paths Chakra just because he lost the eye which was being modified by it. In other words, technically he should be able to turn his other eye into a Rinnegan (Just like Madara did by combining Hashirama's cells with his own and thereby acquiring a trace of six paths chakra), but it would probably take a while since he has to replenish that chakra first.... and that's assuming he even CAN replenish it. Since he's not a Sage, it's not like he can transform nature energy into it like Naruto does, so, he might have to get a graft from Naruto's body or something like that.
Yeah, Sasuke still got Hashirama Cells from Kabuto, which is obviously the main reason why he got the Rinnegan, Hagoromo just accelerated the Evolution of Sasuke's Left EMS into Rinnegan by putting Hagoromo's Yin Chakra on the arm at the same side of his eye so if Kishimoto still has a semblance of being logical Sasuke's Right Eye should also evolve into Rinnegan later on. Sarada needs a super Dojutsu of her own and there's no way she can keep up with Mitsuki and Boruto if she cannot get Rinnegan at least, which as we know only possible if their blood is at least Half Otsutsuki (Indra cannot develop Rinnegan because his Otsutsuki Blood was too diluted) so she needs Sasuke to give her his remaining eye or maybe steal Madara's Rinnegan again.

And Madara was blind, while Sasuke still has ONE NON-BLIND EYE
I feel like what they're going for is Naruto is a much more skilled version of Sage Naruto and Sasuke is a much more skilled version of EMS Sasuke and it seems like they're trying to keep them about equal, from what it looks like to me minus some brief points in the series like right after the Pain arc and before the Five Kage Summit they have been pretty consistently equal, with Sasuke having the slight advantage probably up until that point and Naruto arguably having the slight advantage later on, I think that's actually be a mental thing though
Sasuke being able to keep both of his Mangekyo Sharingan powers and Susano'o does seem a little inconsistent and confusing comparing him to Obito, but it's possible that maybe it works differently when you have had those things previously and then the eye is taken away instead of never having the eye (it takes two Mangekyo Sharingan to unlock all of the powers but you only need to keep one to retain them) either that or the fact that the eye is still technically there is allowing him to keep some of the abilities, either way it would be a bit simpler if they just reverted Sasuke's eye back, I didn't get into this series until last year but knowing other people are a bit confused too helps me feel better

I'm not even 15% sure on this, but I think it would be in his character to hide the fact that his Rinnegan may actually still be functional. His wife one of the greatest medical ninja around, and with no looming threats beyond Momoshiki, there's no reason for him to act if though it is functional. Also with the looming threat of Momoshiki, it would clearly be the best idea to make Momoshiki believe that the Rinnegan's gone, so he could use it as a trump card.
I'm not saying any of this is true. I'm just saying that it is within possibility and an interesting thing to think about.

As much as this would be nice for the protagonists but it would come out as too convenient for the story. Sticking to the rinnegan to be destroyed would be the best thing for the story as it doesn't negate the fact that both Naruto and Sasuke got the nerf that they really needed for the story to progress interestingly. Madara being able to project the Susano'o has me fully under the belief that once you unlock EMS, the Susano'o and his MS ability are no longer tied to the strength of his eye, but rather his whole body now. A full link with his chakra network, so to speak. It's why Sasuke doesn't bleed from his eyes anymore, and why his Susano'o isn't able to dissipate by any physical damage or strain through his eyes like he did before he nabbed EMS. It has fully integrated the power into him. This is just my own opinion of course, but I'd say it's good evidence to say that Sasuke would have access to his full Susano'o forms. The Perfect Susano'o can be weaker as a result of having only one eye now, but I wouldn't say that his access to any of the forms is restricted by having the rinnegan taken. Hell, if Madara could do it with no eyes, a stronger adult Sasuke could absolutely pull it off.

It really is up to where the writers want to take his character, there are so many different ways it can go it’s really just up to how the choose to write it. I think the rinnegan was simply just an eye, and gave him special abilities but the chakra he was given from the sage is where his raw power boost came from. His eye did get stabbed, however I believe just through logic it will heal over time and he will gain some sort of use out of it, it wasn’t sealed or removed. We have yet to see him fight without it so it’s definitely a guessing game as there are so many different routes they could take. Regardless I do think sasuke will be stronger than naruto in his current state if it came to a straight up fight.

I think Sasuke lost his susano-o when he went blind more out of shock. Like, he stopped manifesting it because he was distracted, not because he couldn't. Since every other Uchiha seems to not need their eyes to use it, I feel like that would be the case, but I'm fine with being wrong here.

I always assumed Sasuke's rinnegan was the equivalent of a pair of rinnegan+one EMS so him losing it would do the following in therms of how powerful his multipliers are now:
-reduce his EMS amp to less than half
-remove his rinnegan amp
-reduce his choku tomoe amp to less than half
-can only use regular full body susanoo at best

Madara still had access to his MS powers when he had no eyes. I don't think it's the eyes that allow the Uchiha to use their signature jutsus, it's in their genes. It just has to be "unlocked." Once that has occurred, they can use it under any circumstance.

I think it's trash writing tho, Kakashi ain't got the genes and was able to use Kamui to it's maximum extent really and wasn't able to use it after being eye snatched by Madara. Sure it could just be the Susano that works after unlocking but Kakashi unlocked that as well (even tho it was some dumbass ghost bullshit).

The explanation I offered, imo, is at least somewhat accurate given what we've been shown, which is multiple Uchiha being able to use their powers without their eyes. We really need sasuke to get some character development , but idk how. he was pretty much fully developed in shippuden but it would be interesting to see a new story about him which could result in some sort of power boost like Naruto getting baryon mode (but giving sasuke such a development pretty much guarantees we are getting closer to a death scene, if the writers want to make a good one)

Honestly, I think he's gonna get sidelined soon. They made him lose his Rinnegan (which he could have easily dodged imo) and the power scaling of the enemies is just getting even more insane. Either that or he's gonna die soon (with the amount of red flags he had in the manga), which will make Sarada awaken MS so she can become somewhat relevant in fights since she kinda got left behind due to said power scaling.
It might be possible for him to get the Rinnegan back because of advanced ninja technology but I feel like the writers should've brought that up already if it was possible. I don't think just getting an eye from Shin will work either-- to begin with, those are Itachi's eyes, not Sasuke's. We don't know if Sasuke can activate the Rinnegan if he got another person's eye. Even alive Madara in the war had to get his (Izuna's) eyes back to use his Rinnegan powers.
Now that I think about it, didn't Edo Hashirama give Sasuke a jutsu of some kind that was never revealed or used during the war? They might bring that up.
Remember that Madara died with his real body at the end of Shippuden. Which means that his eyes are still available. I believe Kanoha took his body and his eyes and store it somewhere. They will be giving sasuke the eyes soon.
Also Fugaku still have his eye somewhere. Kanoha could be storing his eyes somewhere. Same goes with Sasuke original eyes. The eye that sasuke is using is Itachi.

Don’t say that sasuke loses the ability to teleport which is big part of his move set and his loses amenotejikara two really important abilities. Also he lost half his perceptive abilities and we don’t know if his genjutsu is a little weaker with only one eye

I think madara can rewind time. In the fight with hashirama he used one of his eyes to record a event and the other rewinds it so he could do something different

I just find it crazy that a rinnegan bestowed upon him by the SAGE OF SIX PATHS is just able to be destroyed so easily, like you’d think it would have some protection seal on it or something
it does. the only weakness on the seal is the “character nerf for plot” jutsu which is what borushiki used.

I feel talking about Sasuke's Rinnegan is very hard to do as it is quite literally the only one of its kind. I also feel that a lot of the things we know or assume can be changed by the author. If Sasuke puts in his old eye with the MS Sharingan will it change to an EMS because he already has the imprint/chakra of it? Can his old eye change in to a Rinnegan from some unknown mean? Can he awaken a new Rinnegan from either Hashirama's cells or Naruto's cells? On to the Susano'o I don't think it's fair to compare Madara and Itachi to Sasuke. Sasuke literally spammed his MS almost as soon as he got going blind far earlier than either of those two. They had far more practice and knowledge of the jutsu that they could keep it functional/activate while blind.
It's always worth bearing in mind that two rinnegan were enough to completely overhaul Nagato into an honest-to-god deity. While we can only guess how strong he would've been without it, with just Tendo, he was basically on par with a Sage Naruto, Naruto who would later go on to basically run the kage gauntlet.
As a nerfed edo, he tanked a lariat and roflstomped both KCM1 Naruto and V2 Bee at the same time. Regardless of how these scenes are interpreted, that's probably leaps and bounds above what, say, most base form Uzamakis we saw up until that point should be capable of doing.
Sasuke losing a unique ninja-jesus rinnegan is going to have a catastrophic effect on his power level, with this in mind.

10:37 - The vast majority of the chakra given to Sasuke from Hago was from the Yin seal, rather than the eye. Which is why there was more focus on his seal than his rinnegan, also when Sasuke tells Naruto to use his Six paths sennin chakra on Madara, Sasuke also says "And I too have Six Paths chakra" then the camera pans to his seal, rather than his Rinnegan, narratively implying that his massive boost comes from that. It still isnt very clear whether the rinnegan comes directly from Hago, or whether his rinnegan comes from the Hashi cells given to him by Kabuto AND THEN, enhanced by Hago due to that being half of the catalyst that allowed Hago to appear, along with Naruto finally receiving all tailed beast chakra, these were pre-requisites.
10:55 - In the Boruto anime, around like 3 episodes ago, Sasuke straight up tells Sarada that he lost his rinnegan and that was a "large source of power for him". Meaning no, there shouldnt be any chakra clinging to him at all from his rinnegan.
I personally dont believe Sasuke can use the PS any longer, as that was only granted to him once he had gotten his Rinnegan. He isn't like Madara or Kakashi who were able to unlock it whilst still only wielding their EMS/MS. Him being stronger than Naruto now is fairly iffy, considering even Naruto as a teen with Sage Mode was still relative to his KCM state - We see this when he fights the 3rd Raikage, as well as when he bodied half Kurama. This is a much much weaker Naruto, with a much less mastered SM, and even though back then it was only half Kurama. Narutos natural progression MAY possibly scale his Sage Mode to F-KCM chakra mode, but I guess we'll see in this next chapter coming up!
P.S - The way Sasuke kind of spoke to Naruto about Boruto, and about him losing Kurama it seems like Sasuke was sort of hinting at him being stronger through the condescending way he was speaking to Naruto, but thats kind of always been Sasuke' character so this may not be important.

Something I'd like to point out that I see no one talking about is the fact that using the Rinnegan (at least in Boruto) used up a considerable amount of chakra for Sasuke, as least most noticable when using the dimensional transportation jutsu. I would say there's an argument that Sasuke could become more of an efficient fighter without the relying on the Rinnegan's huge chakra cost. Keyword there: Efficient, not stronger. He could last much longer in fight's than previously seen in Boruto, but not use the extravagant power he once had.
Nah he's gonna get bodied no matter what benefits he could get. Same with naruto. They don't get W's anymore, and when they do they have to get done dirty first.

@@kijanajenkins2546 Kakashi had heightened chakra cost, but uchiha still use chakra to keep their sharingan activated and use dojutsu. It is a significant-enough chakra cost for them to usually deactivate the sharingan when not in use.
Sasuke's rinnegan was not only a rinnegan but also had sharingan abilities, a rinnegan can't be usually be deactivated. Usual users of rinnegan, otsutsuki, have insane chakra pools built-up over millenia that sasuke doesn't have, not only the eye is always activated, rinnegan dojutsu also have immense otsutsuki-scale chakra costs that only someone like jinchuriki madara can use frequently without consequence. Specially after losing the moon crest and the six-paths chakra with it, the rinnegan should have considerable cost to sasuke, much more than amaterasu which he already can't spam in rapid succession without costs.
I feel like he likely has his perfect susanoo, because madara kept his due to having EMS. Sasuke’s disappeared because he only had MS at the time.
That wasn’t a perfect sussano bro, madara was shown to use a humanoid or full body sussano while he was blind , he was never shown to use the perfect one while blind , IF sasuke could use it, then naruto should still be able to use six paths sage mode

Disagree. The fact that otsutsuki still exist requires for there to be overpowered Shinobi to beat them. Not even otstutsuki. Code is said to surpass jigen. Therefore they heavily nerfed sasuke and Naruto in order to allow boruto and kawaki and the others shine
I by no means claim to know much about the inner-lore and workings of Naruto, so these are just some questions I have.
For the base form, I guess you could say that's when his Rinnegan needs to 'recharge' or whatever you call it when the tomoe on it dissapear.
For the Amaterasu part, wouldn't he still have it regardless because it's an EMS?
Would Sasuke be able to pull a Madara and kind of grow a new Rinnegan by implanting Senju cells?

I have a feeling with all this ninja tech in boruto sasuke might replace his eye with a bionic one with more abilities similar to delta’s eyes but more advanced and more abilities that would be similar to his old rinnegan either that or he might just yoink one from an otsutsuki
I was under the impression that Sasuke's Rinnesharingan was a constant drain on his chakra reserves. Losing the eye might actually be a stamina buff for him.
But one thing that writers seem to willingly overlook is how losing the eye gives Sasuke an opportunity to get even stronger.
Sasuke was offered to get a Hashirama cells arm in the past, just like Naruto has, but he declined. Should he accept, he'll gain access to the Rinnegan, which will give him some of his tools back.
But since this is a regular Rinnegan, he should be able to revert it back to EMS and turn the thing completely off / on at will like Madara did.
Now, Konoha might have gone full retard and gotten rid of their stockpile of Sharingans, but I'm fairly certain Orochimaru knows how to get his hands on one. (You can just grab a Shin, there's plenty of those.)
Since eyes are apparently plug and play, we might just have buffed Sasuke by providing him with two RInnegans and an eye he can afford to sacrifice for Izanagi / Izanami.
Now, I'm fairly certain this will never happen, but it's an interesting "what if" scenario.
Losing so much firepower while there still are Otsutsukis running around the galaxy chopping down trees might force him to accept a new arm.

The hashi arms are useless, not sure why everyone thinks it’s a buff. They’re literally detachable so it’s not like you truly have cells in you the same way madara, obito, danzo and orochimaru had directly flowing in their body. Plus sasuke already has hashi cells when kabuto healed him

He should have perfect susanoo...that is an ems ability or sixth path chakra ability....sasuke has ems and kakashi had six path chakra from obito when he did it..sasuke really is no different...in fact i d argue he still op without the ability to teleport, absorb chakra, take souls, gravity control, or reserect-COUGH-COUGH WHICH HE BARELY USED BY THE WAYYYYY
There's two options I see with Amaterasu:
1) The writers forgot which Sharingan eye does what and flipped Amaterasu/Kagutsuchi around -- meaning he can't use Kagutsuchi now but he *can* use Amaterasu.
2) Because he acquired Itachi's eyes and enhanced his Mangekyo Sharingan, he has both Itachi's innate Amaterasu ability as well as his own ability to manipulate it via Kagutsuchi -- all in the same eye.
Too early to tell which of the two.
kodachi has avoided creating any plot holes upto now. really wired he fucked up now. although that amaterasu scene maybe by kishi.
Or it doesn't matter which eye actually, both eyes are still the same eyes, just on different side of your face, Sasuke just trained both so that he can access all MS abilities in both of his eyes. Obito literally did long range Kamui many times in the 4th war, destroying headcanon that Obito only has "short ranged kamui"

Im pretty sure they still remember kagutsuchi. sasuke kinda spammed it in the war so its hard to forget. and he did use it when he coated his sword in amaterasu against urashiki. (even if the last 1 isnt canon)
