It's presumably because of the fact that USB BIOS flashback won't work if this deep sleep setting is enabled. But it would be great if Asrock said that in the BIOS help text.
I‘m too embarrassed to tell you how long I‘ve been having this problem for. It was only my Razer mouse which kept blinking, so I didn‘t care too much but after buying a new audio interface with a pretty bright power LED, it became very annoying, so I started switching off the mains power after shutdown. This is a godsend and as it‘s NOT in the USB settings, NOR in the ACPI settings in my old BIOS version, and „Deep Sleep“ doesn‘t read like „POWER OFF“, I never would have found that in a million years. Have a Similar Yet Different Issue... ASRock A320M/ac Motherboard. Couldn't get it to see any USB Sticks or USB drives. Recognizes mouse and keyboard fine. Went into BIOS and can't figure out if there is a setting I need to change. Would like to wipe drive and reload Windows but sort of hard to do without USB bootable access. Help Anyone??
reset BIOS to default values? and make sure the IO shield or any metal is not shorting out USB ports or headers
@@mikesunboxing Turned out to be the USB ports on the front of the case are NOT bootable. Go figure! Got it all sorted. Thanks!
@@glennsilva2631 Glad you got it sorted out 🙂
What if I want power only on front usb and no power on back usb?
Not sure if that is possible
@@mikesunboxing ahh ok thanks, was just wondering because I had an Asus Crosshair V formula Z before and it allows me to toggle the power passthru to every individual usb port.
My motherboard don't have this "Deep Sleep"
Only:
- Suspend to RAM [Auto]
- ACPI HPET Table [Enabled]
- PS/2 Keyboard S4/S5 Wakeup Support [Disabled]
- PCIE Devices Power On [Disabled]
- RTC Alarm Power On [By OS]
- USB Keyboard/Remote Power On [Disabled]
- USB Mouse Power On [Disabled]
are you trying to enable or disable USB power when shutdown or sleeping
My setup is marking exactly that way. How do I turn off the USB ports when the CPU is off? My mother board is a ASRock H370M-HDV. But it is showing these options a little different than your options
@@mikesunboxing could you help?

كيف جهازه صغير كذا 😅
using a Asus strix z370-f motherboard here, and with that setting, yes the mouse now turns on.. but on boot the PC seems to do a mini reboot before it acually starts up? Is this common for a PC to do with this setting turned on?
not sure sounds a bit odd, maybe post a video of it on our discord and i'll review it
