Hyper spawning was definitely in original WoW, remember it well. I feel it was one of the first things patched into the game when players complained about being unable to do quests, having to wait too long for respawns, or kill-stealing. It was mostly because everyone was in the same lower levels at launch. It's all based on mob availability versus players in an area. I remember areas where you kill the enemies only for them to be back a minute later in high pop areas, such as Dead Mines. Was great for farming back then.
It was a feature added with the release of the Burning Crusade for those reasons, it was not in vanilla wow. I would have loved hyperspawn when farming in the plaguelands or silithus back in vanilla.

Hard to judge the Herod clip without the full context of what happened before the clip starts. @@LoudWaffle Well the pack outside spawns when you pull Herod and despawns once he's dead, it's some sort of anti cheese mechanic and some other bosses in other dungeons have the same thing
WoW just wasn't designed with hardcore in mind, so some game mechanics like respawn were designed to work well enough in general, and when someone dies it's no big deal.
same. leveled many shamans in non-hardcore and done that quest every single run without it glitching out on me even once. and in case it does glitch out, that's an actual appeal case because the game is literally telling you to jump, so if it bugs out that's on blizzard.
What classes are most likely to die and what classes are least likely to die? From these clips and from other videos, it looks like warriors, hunters, and mages are most likely to die.
Warrior is easily the most likely to die. Hunter and Mage SHOULDNT be the most likely to die. Least likely.. SHOULD be Hunter, otherwise Mage, Paladin and 100% Priest.
@@joshuastoughton1693 Feign Death can be resisted but it has nothing to do with LoS. It's just the same as any other spell resist chance, and has a MUCH greater chance of resist if the enemy is higher level than you. So yeah it's a very overpowered ability in Hardcore settings, but it's not infallible. Similarly I think Warlocks are on-paper one of the strongest classes in Hardcore, but like Hunter that (earned) reputation makes people become careless with them. All it takes is one Voidwalker taunt to be resisted in a bad situation and you're done for. The channel WillE has a video where he looks at the actual death/level data on private Hardcore servers (this was made before the official servers) and adds that with his knowledge of each classes' toolkit to rank the classes from easiest to hardest to level on Hardcore. Paladins are unsurprisingly at the statistical top, with a ridiculous amount of reliable anti-death abilities which you start getting early on, along with a very slow playstyle that makes you unlikely to overpull and get cocky. They were the likeliest to reach level 60, at a rate of 0.3% of all pally players doing so. But the full list as he ranked it went: Mage > Priest > Paladin > Druid > Hunter (2nd most-played class) > Rogue > Shaman > Warrior > Warlock. He wasn't just rating survivability, but their ease of levelling, which is why classes that could actually deal damage while also having survivability options ranked highest.
The reason you see Hunter deaths so much on these videos is because they are the least likely to die and massively overplayed because of it. Warriors die because they don't have any "escape" abilities.
I love how the title of the video is "WoW Classic hardcore deaths I haven't seen yet" and the very first thing Asmon says is "wait didn't I see this?!"

bro, classic players can have all the addons, all the guides, all the tip/tricks and still die to some stupid stuff like a town guard.. it's just.. mindblowing
10:55 - I do disagree with removing hyper spawns, with that outside dm zone specifically without hyper spawns those 2 quests would take fooorrreevvverr for everyone to get their items, it's so much nicer with hyper spawns it takes a fraction of the time, you just have to be smart. lol
Surely it would be possible to just make the spawn speed dynamic, like if a certain mob/spawn point is being killed on cooldown, it can adjust to a lower respawn timer that gradually wears off if it stops being farmed. Because the vast majority of the game are not like those farming/quest spots that actually benefit from hyper spawning, instead you get pretty cheap deaths where a mob respawns on top of you while you're still fighting only the next enemy after it.

7:23 swiftness potion up, slow fall ready to use, he could've just jumped down the waterfall with slow fall
So the guy who left on rhe zep... has the deserter buff now right!?
Duel =/= Mak'gora. In a duel, you auto forfeit at 1hp, and no debuff if you flee the duel.
@@mootboot Yeah it was just a harmless funny troll clip, but with the tension of expecting either of them to fall off the edge at any moment.
ngl i just started playing wow this year and watching you makes playing the game sm better if that makes sense
what addon is he using at 20:10 for the UI ?
WoW just wasn't designed with hardcore in mind, so some game mechanics like respawn were designed to work well enough in general, and when someone dies it's no big deal.
What is the unit frame addon at 3:18?
1:16 I would have jumped right away. Mainly because I know the quest since you always do that after getting the air totem as horde shaman
same. leveled many shamans in non-hardcore and done that quest every single run without it glitching out on me even once.
and in case it does glitch out, that's an actual appeal case because the game is literally telling you to jump, so if it bugs out that's on blizzard.
best thing with deadmine's mines. don't do that quest.
@@joshuastoughton1693 I have a feeling that around half of rogue deaths are due to fall damage.
5:45 "Oh who is this" 😭💀
2:30 krijg toch de tering 😂
:D
what a best title, theres about 90 of these on classichc channel so expect daily reacts
People need an add-on for guard patrol radius. LOUD alert.
I love how the title of the video is "WoW Classic hardcore deaths I haven't seen yet" and the very first thing Asmon says is "wait didn't I see this?!"
I laughed pretty hard at that. The editors are supreme lol
Dude at 10:05 looks ROUGH.
Not even talking his gaming; those IRL dark circles are worse than mine used to be back when I shoot smack. Like good lord; he doesn’t look like he’s doing okay.
Title: "WoW Classic hardcore deaths I haven't seen yet"
Asmon in the first second of the video: "Didn't I see this?"
stanknoob doesnt kill the low mobs.. they would have lived if he killed all the other mobs off..just attacks the 1 robot the whole time. Theres a mob at 34 health for like over a minute...
About that second Southshore death. Didnt he have a swiftness potion?
Oh hey it's Roguefeather den. Honestly the druid in front of the deadmines? good for him, with a group like that he was definitely dying. 14:24 WOW thanks.
The priest in the beginning really ran around without feathers for levitate, talking shit about skills🤣
"Prove your bravery" quest suddenly feels real on a hardcore server 🤣🤣😭😭
The warrior at 10:00 could have killed the mobs if he just stood his ground.
Hard-core realms: killing not only characters but headsets as well😅
That war in SM ran out and scooped those mobs up like he was helping
What is he streaming on? I checked twitch and most of it was awhile ago.
18:38 - saving this for later lol
bro, classic players can have all the addons, all the guides, all the tip/tricks and still die to some stupid stuff like a town guard.. it's just.. mindblowing
Was the sewer beast removed at some point in retails history?
@@LoudWaffleYea.. but this blizzard we're talking about, I don't expect much from them we kinda have to take what we can get lol
😂😂 what was that video Asmon did a couple months ago with that farting noise while someone was talking??
So hilarious
I love these so much. 22 minutes well spent :)
I know so little about wow this is a rewatchable series
This is such a good advertisement for wow classic HC, I'm so tempted to subscribe just to dab on these noobs.
