At around 30:00 when Asmongold said “what a nice guy” for sending 10 gold to Uber, I was immidiately reminded of my favourite experience in Wow Classic. I was questing in STV by myself, when I saw a level 30 warrior grinding trolls. Being a level 39 warrior myself, I offered my help to him because I had to do the whole level 30 warrior questline (almost) alone so I knew how fucking terrible it was and I just really wanted to help this warrior in getting the Axe. We managed to do it in a single hour (with the help my own Whirlwind Axe) and afterwards he came up to me to ask if I had enough money for a mount. I had around 20-30 gold so I said no. He then proceeded to give me 60 or so gold(!) because “I didn’t ask for anything in return for my help” and it was an alt of his. Now I’m enough of a man to admit that I had a fucking tear fell down my face cause I just couldn’t believe it. I never met him ever since, but in case you my man are around these parts, know that this comment was written by the Dwarf Warrior Faltren.
"I realized that the Dwarven Fishing Pole I had was actually a gun." I love those small, dumb jokes they throw into the game like that. I remember when I finally played classic, I leveled a draenei (this is post tbc), and I remember laughing so hard at a quest reward for turning in "Kirken's hide" was a pair of boots called "Kirkenstocks."

49:00 That CMOS thing is no joke. My old PC would 'lose' time constantly. I'd set the clock one day, the next day at the same time it would say it was 12 minutes earlier. Found out later it was because the CMOS battery was going bad and sometimes lost connection, causing me to lose a couple seconds here and there. It would also disconnect me, as UberDanger experienced.
the sad part is i cant remember the whole map of the old gnomer, use to have it mapped out in my head, but forgot most of it when they shortened it in retail

But a friend asked me to level with him, and I was absolutely shocked when I got hit with a _20 second root._ Like, if you got hit with a 20 second root in League of Legends, you're about to get slapped so hard that it uninstalls your client and distributes all of your remaining RP and Blue Essence to the enemy team.
Same thing happened to me with the Ravager.. I took like 45 min to put together a group of ppl that I made sure did not need the axe, only other person in group that could even use it was the resto shammy healer but he said he didnt need it so we started doing Arm runs. 5 runs later it dropped.. I needed it... the shammy says "actually I can use that for my os besides your WW axe is better"..... Thank God I won the roll but still I was pissed that the dude tried to roll for it after saying he didn't need it.

When I was like 10 I ran that dungeon on my hunter like 30 times, always hoping to get the ravager (it looks amazing when you're 10 years old), one day I made a group with my dad who was an orc warrior and it finally dropped, and my dad needed on it and won. Yes he was a warrior, and yes I was a hunter, but he ended up not using it because he had two great blue one-handers. I was so upset.
Watching this reminds me of the 20 or so Whirldwind Axe/Ravager fury warriors who would afk in front of SM and boost people through it... some guy in my guild went in at level 20 on an alt, paid for as many runs as possible, went straight to Mauradon and did the same thing after he was done, and came out the other side level 45 in 4 days time I was jealous to say the least XD
When I was like 12-13 my hobby was sneaking around in low level ally leveling zones and repeatedly sapping people just to fuck with them. Yes I was the worst

In all fairness, WoW was a step up from Diablo II; If you played Diablo II pre-wow days like me you knew that looting bosses was a crap shoot. If you were smart you would stop fight when the boss hit 1-2% HP get right on top of them and spam clicked like your life depended on it, because it absolutely did as loot was available to all and dropped on the ground and the fastest clicks got it all. No rolling no master loot, first click first serve. When I finally was able to play WoW and learned about the loot system I was in love.
He said how low do you have to be, to be ganking low levels at level 35. Didn't he tell all his guilds to gank all the horde areas just the other day no matter what lvl they were?

Lol this just made me remember that I was always kill horde on sight and one time I meet my match I was a human paladin and the other was like an horde cow paladin or warrior can't remember the expansion but whenever we saw each other we just wanted to foil whatever the other party whas doing The best party was that we were similarly pinnacle skilled players ( I was better) and particularly in bgs it was very fun the fraction strats Some decisions were rational others not much it was cool times when I was in midschool trough highschool playing wow ..
