- The Worlds BIGGEST Tomahawk!
If you’re looking for a steak that makes a statement on the dinner table, look no further than the tomahawk ribeye. Besides just being fun to cook, there are few things that compare to eating steak right off the bone. Little did I know, there was a steak that was about to change the way I looked at tomahawks forever...
When this steak arrived at my doorstep, I was genuinely shocked. Not only was it over 3 inches thick, but it included the short rib & lifter meat - two muscle groups that are usually never included on a tomahawk. Figuring out how to cook each element to the right temperature was a major challenge. Grilled, sous vide and seared, we attempted a unique three step cooking process - I have to say I was very happy with the results!

If Albert can cook, will cook can Albert?
@@Iliketrains444 😂underrated.
Max you treated this cut of meat with a lot of respect. No butcher would ever serve this and the cut itself is really a joke. But I have to commend you for the attention to detail you put into cooking each part properly! Love that respect man and the meat looked amazing.
Yes, he treated it with the utmost respect! Especially when he used it to hit a golf ball LOL
How the fuck do you treat a cut of meat with respect?? You are a fking cringelord Douglas

Beautifully cooked, to me you had a great idea and execution of the method. Great content Max, thanks.

Just recently got into the channel, absolutely love the videos both shorts and the longer form that actually shows us the process behind the magic. The respect for the meat and cooking of it is impressive. What happens to it though? Hope it doesn't go to waste!
Amazing cut!
Underrated channnel
Underrated video.
King you say? This is the God of all tomahawks and any tomahawk that says otherwise will be smited with the power of big, marbled, beefiness
When y'all gotta go big!
I wanna see gordon ramsay react to this.
That would truly be entertaining
Idk why but i all of a sudden feel like a professional chef
I love the low and slow
The cow was a body builder
This vid made me subscribe in less than 30 seconds, my quickest reaction ever!
That is next level after the next level bbq! Just WOW
Hell I would have use a jacarrd on the short rib section with the combination of dry brine or maybe Next time sou vide the whole tomahawk in sections short rib first then sou vide the delmontico and lifter at 125 or 120 for a few hours then reverse sear? Just another reason 2 cook a big ass steak lol.Great video all together hope 2 see more
Never new i needed a tomahawk thst big until knwo i need it
That looks amazing 😮😮😮
Delmonico is a cleaned up boneless ribeye. This was a chuckeye.
hes a genius for using that method
The giant line in front of the meat kills me lol
the short rib from the big tomahawk looks like brisket
I NEED to cook that
The big tomahawk steak looks like it came from a tyrannosaurus Rex, I'll call it the T-Rex steak!
Was this the Steak John Candy ate in The Great Outdoors? Lol
Max creating the recipe for world piece with a triple done steak
Mercy, that's a beast of a steak. 😲🤩
how dare you make me hungry at 1 AM 😭
Looks so good
Nailed it!!
That well done part is well done xD
I have a question why exactly do you always use kosher salt and not regular salz
"Well Done" is my always choice.
“Be generous”, as if any of us can ever even dream of cooking that
You should do an Oreo dry aged steak! Btw I love your videos!
Hell ya
2:33 I don't know about you but I'm feeling 22
Very well done for a custom cut piece of meat I am assuming you have never done before!
Where do you buy this? I want to try it
Max, you are invited to the cookout
This guys is the Michael Jackson of cooking steaks....this looks amazing🤩
what do you do with the meat after the video ends
I wanna see the size of the cow that created this monster of a steak. Love ur videos Max
Max isnt delmonico the end closer to loin side rather than the chuck side
There’s just something special about having a fire at night
Woah! That piece of meat is huge! It was awesome seeing you cook it :D
oh no..

Damn my favourite steak 🥩 and have had some very big and nice Tomahawk….this looks amazing
Legendary bro
That crust is incredibly
This looks delicious! I wonder how it would fare if it was cooked like a brisket?
It’s like a beef guitar
Gordon Ramsey "you grilled the lettuce?!?"
Hickory is the king! Lol. I like pecan or almond. Pecan is light Almond having a higher temp similar flavor I’d pecan. Orange wood is different and good. I’d like to try pistachio. Love to see that. Cherry is a little harsh like oak
That lettuce looks delicious too! 😋
Max's bowels are going to be hurting tomorrow!
Great video
Really nice job
if I wanted a non wagyu version of this steak, how do I explain what kind of cut I want to my butcher with all those parts included?
This man is a one man Arby's
Those steaks look [CENSORED] dope!
One of my dreams is for Max to look me in the eye and say "you already know I'm going for that bone" as he proceeds to undress and to unspeakable things to me.
Where do you purchase your steaks?
Max the meat king 👌🏼
that is literally the best plate of meat I've ever seen
GoodStuff,GreatTips😀👍🏿
Is cooking it on the bone worth the hassle? Would be a lot easier to cook the different cuts separately
