Amazing! The pure white is beautiful, the blue compliments it perfectly and the sweeping on the seconds hand fills it with life making whole piece a pleasure to watch.
The Seiko Presage SPB293 is such a beautiful watch but they should have went with the 6L35 movement instead of the 6R31. That's such a beautiful watch though. Thanks for sharing.
I bought the brother of this watch, GCLX997. I love everything about this watch, especially the thin and well crafted bracelet. It would have been nice if they could make an automatic in a spring drive and have it only be 10.6mm thick but what a wonderfully crafted and finished watch for $8,500
I love that its not a Automatic. I want to have more reason to interact with something that I paid a good chunk of money for! Wounding it daily is something that I would look forward to and really enjoy. It's pure class! I hope you have lots of fun with it!
This is such a deep cut - peak Seiko (and I don’t mean that in a negative way). Very few people will know this (sub) brand but who cares when the watch looks so nice! I’ve got a Shunbun on the shortlist at the moment, but this one has also just been added to that shortlist!
@@lucasxlacerda The bracelet is attached via a friction pin, and I've removed it before as I was curious. You would have to get some custom straps for it though, as Credor don't currently offer any for the Kuon.
@@welcomewrist it would have these nothes cut out though? Straight cut isn't an option I guess from watching a video. I'd love an orange strap contrasting with dial details but because it's a pain I actually might get the black romans instead ;)

@@welcomewristSure. It's just a lot of money to spend on watches for anyone really, so I was curious. Also, Australia is not really a big watch culture. Expensive watches are seen as a bit of pretentious unless you are in sales or finance.

@@asdfa-e9v I didn't make any reservation at any of the boutiques I visited, I just walked in and they were happy to help. The customer service over in Japan is quite good.
Love the case and movement. Not a fan of the bracelet. The bracelet actually looks more elegant on the reverse side (the middle links are more subtle).
Its a shame Credor are becoming more conventional (and IMHO boring). The whole point of the brand was that its a more Avant Garde alternative to the Grand Seiko which was the more conventional brand that stuck religiously to the Seiko "Grammar of Design". Today it just seems to be "Grand Seiko but a bit dressier".
Here's someone that doesn't understand the work needed to make the dial and what a nightmare it would be to satisfy such a niche request. If you know how to read a clock, you know how to divide by 5 and estimate minute markings. This is art, not a Casio or Swatch.
Congrats 🎉 Glad you took a chance on a non-hype watch and brand. Love the dial and movement.

Superb!
After I got my GS SBGA445 I always wanted this watch.
Instead I settled on the poor man's version, the Seiko Presage SPB293.
The SPB293 is stunning

Beautiful watch! I cringed a little seeing it sitting on the pebbles. But I know you set it there as gently as possible 😅 thanks for the video!!
@@WatchDanReviews Thanks for watching! I was very careful.
I normally prefer dials with some text above the six, without crown guards & with framed date window but this one i really like.. ❤
Absolutely gorgeous! Congratulations.

honestly if they made a rubber strap for this... i'd be super tempted.
