This is very, very, very high at the top of my "next one means I'm done" list. After four Grand Seiko's, a number of Seiko limiteds (both SJE and Presage) and a lone regular Seiko, it would be the crowning achievement on the whole collection journey. Fantastic looking watch.
Wow man, rolling with the big boys now! Credor is like unattainable grail level to me. The crown guards on that case are reminiscent of Patek 5127, which I've always been fond of, lovely! The bracelet is beautiful too, if it were me, I'd never take it off and risk marring anything.
You can take the bracelet off btw. But its essentially a integrated bracelet, so will require a custom strap. And considering how thin the centrelinks are, i doubt it would work well on leather.
I had a play around with it, and it seems to be a friction fit bar that attaches the bracelet to the case. What material do you recommend for the strap? I was considering getting a strap, then cutting it to fit the shape of the case.
@@xx1j Thank you! I appreciate the support. The watch is absolutely amazing! I'm working on a full review with a bunch of beauty shots of the watch, stay tuned!
@@stopato5772 At the time of my purchase, I paid about $12000 AUD. Please keep in mind this may change depending on conversion rates and tax requirements for your country etc.
Giving _exceedingly_ serious thought to the Roman numeraled version of this . . . it’s just that the 3 bar water resistance gives me the impression that this piece isn’t ‘robust’ particularly?
I appreciate the advice. I daresay that I’m being a little pedantic - as well as simply plain wrong - in equating a lower water resistance with a lack of building durability?
@@edwardcatt2399 The watch is made extremely well and the feel the build quality is also very good. I am working on a full review and will go more in-depth into this.
I’ll sub and in the interim I’ll look forward to that video. Do you suppose that the porcelain dial will avoid discoloration in future years or even future decades?
I really want to like this watch but there are a few things that put me off. Some design choices just doesnt make sense to me. 1. Drilled lug holes for that case? The only reason that it will male sense is if they’re planning to release one with a leather strap if not, it just shows that Credor is not that different from seiko to make that kind of design decision (at least for me) 2. I’d rather have a beautifully designed solid case back than a display case back on a movement with a full plate covering most of its ibteresting parts. 3. Seiko group doesnt really care about improving their bracelets and clasps in all price points
@@bch1309 I’ve held quite a few Grand Seikos in hand. They are a massively overrated brand. The only thing the brand excels in is finishing. The bracelets are an absolute joke and their mechanical movements are mediocre at best.
It's veeery close to perfection!! The logo at 12 is chef's kiss.
The bracelet has a lot to improve

Totally agree bro. I want this

On chrono, you can find dome vintage Credor at very attractive prices. I'm eyeing them myself,so don't you dare... buying one of those. 😂
Be well.
@@kimchiwasabee Haha, thanks, and no worries, I never go anywhere near c24
This is my idea of perfection. Congratulations and enjoy it in good health 👍
What a beauty!
Stunning watch indeed. Love the contrast between the white dial and the blue markers. Simple but stunning!! 😍😍

@@welcomewrist i think you might be able to make it work with some strap materials work. Try shell cordovan leather, or maybe FKM rubber.
I was really interested to see an unboxing of this as I also wanted one, so I subscribed when I saw this video.
Congrats on the new watch!

It doesn't get much cleaner than this! Great watch.
Congrats on the Kuon! Was trying to find it when iwas there a couple of weeks back but I couldnt find it in stock
It was incredibly hard to find, I got super lucky.
@@welcomewrist yeah was told they got a batch coming in 2 months time so...maybe try my luck again then haha
Such a stunning watch
like the dial!
Wow, that’s a nice brush. What’s the dark brown part made of?
Aluminium
That is a beautiful watch! Congrats! What happened to your palms? They are destroyed.
Many years of working out and counting.
My impression was that these Credor timepieces are extremely difficult to obtain. Is this correct? What a beautiful piece - congratulations.
Most boutiques and Authorised dealers I went to in Japan did not have it in stock. I was lucky to find one which had it coming in.
credor is a micro artist studio inside grand seiko which makes credor watches extremely rare.
Credor absolutely nailed this piece
How much did you pay for it?
You can get it in Japan for $6,800 or so if you haggle.
I paid retail price from a Credor boutique in Japan.
@@welcomewrist Why not show the price?

@@edwardcatt2399 I personally haven't had any issues with 3 bar water resistance in any of my watches, but I probably wouldn't do swimming with it.

@@edwardcatt2399 I think porcelain will hold its color for a long time, so fading shouldn't be too much of an issue compared to other dial materials.

You probably have never seen a GS or credor in the flesh 😅

Beautiful watch. Where can i get this watch in Japan?
I got mine in Kobe at an Authorised Dealer for Credor.
