Soooo I feel SEEN!!! This guy shares almost my same exact taste in watches. I lusted after the Rolex OP 39 when it first came out and then the JLC Master Geographic Sector dial! Oh MAN! I have never seen one of these watch collection videos that a guy is rocking what I love and wear.
Love this video, what a story! Great taste, we have the same exact taste, from the jlc to the credor to this specific patek. That ivory dial is mega and that complication. This guy is amazing, I could definitely talk to this guy for hours
“That looks like us” 😢 weird thing to say. The great thing about the watch collecting community is that we don’t care what someone looks like or economic status. It’s about the passion with everyone welcome. I enjoyed the rest of the conversation though! Thanks for the vid!
Maybe you cannot understand how it feels to be underrepresented globally in society regardless of your abilities. That’s all he was alluding to by his comment.
As a black watch collector, it does feel isolating sometimes to be in such spaces that are so ‘homogeneous’. Yes we all come together for the love of the watches, but it’s not strange to seek some representation of familiarity in your spaces. That doesn’t mean you don’t welcome/love/accept any and everyone, just celebrate that you’re not alone either.
Hi! Catching time is the Show with Me and Chris where we talk about watches in our Inventory and Watch Topics and View Questions, "Collecting Time" is a new show featuring collectors sharing their collections with us and our viewers. Thank you for watching!
To the collector: seriously you didn't buy them to know what day it is. Not for function. These are beautiful watches worthy of a collector, I should probably not put words in your mouth. But I would think you bought these expensive work of art because you appreciate beauty and craftsmanship.
This watch collecting thing has always been white posh dominated. And as a white man myself I can see that very well. Personally love this change, hope to see it more.
I love that collection! True watch passion. Doesn’t follow the “hype” of things and gets what he really wants. Respect

No, watches enslaved them 😂😂😂
You must be white.

Maybe I just see people as people.

Is it Catching Time or Collecting Time?

💯💯🇯🇲
Why bring race into it?
If you have to ask, you would not understand the answer. 🤷🏽

Because they are black in an industry dominated by whites.
