I like this watch since my girlfriend give it to me as a present, very good review!

Your review is very good, but, this watch is at best indoors under the light , in my opinion. Indoors shows the highlights on this watch the best, it's too bright outdoors. I also disagree with you on the band, I think this band goes with the watch 100%. There is a contrast with the band being brushed and polished at the edges. It is a perfect match with the case I think. What would of topped it off is 18kt in the vertical links in the band, with 18kt hands and markers on the dial, Now you got a real winner ! Edit: A strap absolutely does not go with this type of case because of the design of the case. Sure one can put a strap, if one requires one , but not on this style of case, and for the price your paying, why not have the beautiful brushed band instead? It goes perfect with the watch ! I going out to buy this watch for my collection, your review worked on me, I have to get one of these, maybe I can order a custom from Grand Seiko with the 18kt vertical links and 18kt markers and hands?

Awesome review of an awesome watch! Indeed the case is resin, but it won’t discolor much, if at all. I made a long term review of the A-168, which, after 11 years, still retains the metal varnish unchanged. It’s a different thing with the matte meta paint of pieces such as the AE-1200 (Casio Royale) or the B640 , which tend to discolor more easily. The pouch your watch came in is really nice. OG black all day. The blue aside from its color is too bland and severely lacks character missing the red triangle which harkens back to the Submariner big crown. Great comparison video.

My issue with more expensive watches like this without on the fly adjustment capability on their bracelets...how to know if I'll be able to get a perfect fit before purchasing and sizing it. That's why I'm waiting to get a GS until they come up with adjustable clasps.

Honestly, comparing this to a date just or an aqua terra is a bit of a joke. Mine got sold after I compared it to a Longines Spirit and was suddenly very underwhelmed with the mark xx

Just got it. The only thing I do not like is, the colors don’t really show in daylight. The blue looks black. Wish the colors popped more and stood out. Otherwise Seiko has another good watch

These are sweet, I prefer that 262kHz Quartz movement, and price point. But for now my Pagani Design PD-1701 gets the job done. 😅

I think "3 days" on the dial is just as obnoxious as "superlative chronometer", but it shouldn't be a deal breaker for either. Most watches say something useless on the dial.

The plastic parts in a GS are a turn off, Credor is a Lexus vs Toyota.

For its looks, movement, and build quality, I can say that this is an overpriced watch LOL!

Nice watch, but the round date window at 4:30 is a deal breaker.

In my opinion the pre 2017 Aqua Terras look and fit much better. Full brushed bracelets that look and feel better and the cases were much thinner.

I like this watch a lot but I hope that they make a version 3 that will be Europe and America oriented on the Earth part, this one is middle east and Asia so it’s not really for me..

Think I’m going to order one of these in navy blue with white stitching for my 41mm blue Aqua Terra. It’s like $500 cheaper then tje Omega rubber strap and I won’t worry about scratching my Omega metal bracelet. Thanks.

I really like the Mark XX. There are also a bunch of Laco & Stowa I like. You can pretty much get 3 Laco &/or Stowa for the price of the MarkXX. I don’t think the MarkXX is priced wrong - just how thick is your watch & how big your watch box.

It seemed to me you prefer the IWC but like most people, you defaulted to Rolex as your favorite for some reason. Rolex while successful, has not innovate in their tool line for years. The IWC Pilot keeps getting better.

I prefer the citizen as i Travelling all the time i fly 800 hr a month world wide & dont want to be unscrewing the crown to set the time Minimum 10 times in a month. The rolex is a 100% better Qualität Watch but not for my use as would be a Problem to wear all over the world ! I think the citizen Fouls be what AP would Design !

Seems like a paid review! How can someone promote watches like these? If you look it up, a lot of people have complained about the accuracy of the movement; it deviates by ±30s/day!!!!

I am not 100% sure it was the exact one, but my father gave me one that looked like that when I was in highschool and it was the best wristwatch I've ever had, haven't been able to find one that could take its place after mine got destroyed in an accident

I'd pick Spitfire over Mark series.
