This Caprice has a BTR Night Fury cam, OTR intake, Pace Setter long tube headers, 3" stainless steel tig welded and V-banded exhaust, C6 Z06 wheels with 325's, CX coilovers, BMR control arms, ZL1 brakes and a New Era Tune.

Put 2 or 4 sand bags in your boot / trunk above the wheal arches for more traction on take off. That's what the Australian police did with the 1986 VL commodore pursuit which had a 6 cylinder turbo engine with a very high power to weight ratio with traction problems on take off. and that soled there problem.

@@MickelsonRacingChannel i have 2 AGM batteries in my trunk still. 1 over each wheel and it hooks up really nice on Nitto 275/40ZR18s I'm convinced the extra weight over each tire really helps out.

@@kylejohnson3382The Caprice stock battery location is the trunk above the driver side rear tire.
That would be kinda easy to add another would add and even out the weight back there as well.

Were Z06 direct fit or did you need to open up the hub bore? ZL1 calipers too? Knuckle swap? Or did they bolt on and swap lines?
Thanks! I purchased the car with the ZL1 brakes already on it. I understood it to be a bolt on modification! Also, the C6 Z06 wheels were bolt on, but much modification to the rear suspension and wheel wells to fit the width. Also running 325/30/19’s in the rear. The wide tires create clearance issues.

No, I’ve never had an issue. 7.5mm isn’t a very big spacer.
@@MickelsonRacingChannel do you think I could use a 1 inch spacer instead of modifying the lower control arms to fit z06 wheels on a stock height caprice?
what wheels are you running on there? wheels and tire spec?
The wheels are C6 Z06 with a 7.5mm spacer in the rear. 265/35/18 and 325/30/19.

Headers are Pacesetter. Exhaust is custom 3” TIG welded stainless.

BTR Night Fury, it’s very close to the BTR stage 4.
