My buddy had an interceptor and supercharged it was fantastic
legroom in backseats better then most airline premium economy seats
in 1988 when we bought our last new caprice it listed auto trans as an extra cost option. I have never seen a caprice from the 70's thru the 90's with a manual. I kind of doubt they ever built any. I always found it funny they charged extra for the base equipment. LOL I always wished I had ordered one with a manual just to see what would happen.
Automatic transmission has never been standard equipment, thats why manual transmissions are sometimes referred to as ‘standard transmission

🤙 not only is it a good way to break your transmission but I’ve heard horror stories of things coming apart and coming through your floor. Lol it’s also really not hard to do it the way I describe it in the video.
It is funny, I had a 1995 Caddy Deville (with the good 4.9l V8) and a few years ago when gas was super high, I was filling it up and somebody filling up a Corolla next to me said that he bet that the Deville was going to be expensive to run when gas was so high. I turned towards him and with my snobbiest voice, I told him that one does not buy or drive a Caddy for good gas mileage. I miss that car. If you had the AC on full blast in that car on a 100 degree day, you would still need a coat to drive it as the AC blew so cold.
As for the PPV, I am glad you like it. I know several Cops and all of them could not wait to hand back in their PPV for a Explorer or Taurus, they said there was something off on them. As for GM engines not breaking down, i like GM a lot but after working at GM dealerships for years, I am not as optimistic as you are. The 2.0l/2.2l (OHV), 2.8l, 3.1l, 3100, 3400 were junk. (The 3.8l and 3300, 3800 were great engines.) and don't get me started on the DOHC 3.4l in the Montes.......

Thank you🤙. I took a break to reflect on my Contant and work the path forward. I spent a lot of time watching VidIQ, Film Booth, and HillierSmith using lessons from all of the channels to develop the latest episode. I’m pretty happy with this trial run.
@@LunarOutlawsGarage It turned out good, I even took some notes to implement into my content! We're pretty well watching all the same people. Throw in some Think Media and Daniel Batal and that pretty well rounds them out. Editing is next on my list of things to tackle. What editing software are you using?
It is not a commodore here in Australia it is a Caprice which is a longer wheelbase than the commodore and is more luxurious even has more options than the cop car do like rear climate control and rearrange DVD screens in the back of the front seat headrests
Thank you for the correction. I really like how it is a more bad ass version of the BMW 5 series. My old 5 series had a lot a similarities and a climate control system in the back as well.
Bought an '04 GTO aka a Holden Monaro.
Why, GM? Why kill Holden? They have shown themselves to be amazing muscle cars.

A Holden statesman u.s version, in australia i've never driven a v8 before actually only Once. ss commodore, my turbo 6 falcon will run a low 14s with the gt30 turbo auto.

I definitely recommend it. Also the amount of room you have in the backseat is unreal. The the later SS models are definitely more luxurious, but I like the Spartan feel of this model.

Unfortunately, my other daily driver, my dadillac as I call it decided to break so currently it’s my only reliable vehicle that can haul all three of my kids around. 😅 so I’m currently LS swapping my 70 Buick Skylark that might end up getting the turbos instead life likes to throw curveballs at you

Sorry, this fell through the notifications. I was able to pick this car up out of Vermont for 9000. I’m going to be going through that car in detail once I get more parts for the upgrades.

What’s the deal with the major cam shaft and lifter issues I have heard with these things? Seems veryyyy similar to the hemi cam/lifter issues which I dealt with and don’t necessarily want to again 🫠
It has to do with the automatic fuel management system in the lifters getting stuck in between passive and engaged functionality.
Particularly affects LS engines with the afm system, poor maintenance or a lot of idling hours.
