The baby is fine right now. It can't smile straight away, it takes a few months, so is the baby less a being before it can smile? This is why I don't get on with other women, they talk such waffle.

Never been so happy to learn I will NOT see a baby. Not having your early life shared on the internet sometimes seems like an increasingly rare privilege for children, and its so good to hear that your child will be spared from that. Wishing you an easy, joyful birth!
Thank you so much for respecting your child's privacy. I know that sentence can look silly to some people but the INTERNET IS FOREVER! Literally anything and everything that you put on it will be here forever and the idea of having my every moment documented is terrifying.
Jessica kelgren-fozard does a GREAT job of integrating her motherhood into her content without making it the focal point and without exposing her child to the world's gaze. It's a model I wish more parents would adopt.

I’ve also noticed a lot of people recently who have a few videos when the baby is very young where they appear which’appeases’ the audience but as soon as they are more than a baby blob then stop showing them or do as Jessica does and just show their back or heavily blur them out if them come into shot. it’s quite uncomfortable watching some channels that feature their children heavily without these measures and to be honest I generally end up clicking away as I don’t think it is fair on the kids who can’t consent. So glad there are increasingly parents that are aware of this and prepared to take a stand on it.
Much as I'd enjoy some loepsie parenting content, I think it's a very wise decision to keep baby off the internet.

As seen in neighboring countries, viewers can be overboard in demands for your time. Blessings for you, dad, baby and your extended family.

I have 7 blessings...on a childs birthday is the same day a parent is born. You will do great and remember you NEED to take care of you. Even if its something small-for you-something you dont have to share.

If you've got some stretchy fabric, or even a stretchy baby carrier, fashion yourself a belly sling for the last few weeks, especially when you know you're going to be up and about more. I remember pregnancy causes "round ligament pain", but they're lower down, but this sounds similar, just in a different area. Having the weight of baby carrier by the sling should help alleviate some of your discomfort.
Wishing you a beautiful, joyous birthing !! You should know: I've been vegetarian for decades, but had been too lazy to completely cut out dairy products. Learning about your (mostly) vegan pregnancy made it very clear to me that I have no good excuse not to do so myself and I have now made the transition and It feels so good to live in complete alignment with my values. Your content has literally changed my life for the better. Hear that youtube!! We want to be notified of Loepsie's uploads!! 🥰

My family all live abroad (and dad's side are also abroad) but since he turned 6m we stopped doing any face pictures of our little one on our social medias (which are all private and very tight security settings anyway). Best decision ever!
My son was breech so I didn’t get the rib kicks, but I did get kicks so low that it felt like he was going to kick his way out! Not a great feeling 😂 I’m so excited for you that your pregnancy has gone so well and that your placenta previa is gone. 😊
I follow a Canadian creator, who keeps her kids off her channel. You can hear them sometimes in the background but beyond an introduction of the little one when born, you never ever see the kids and it refreshing. Her stance was they can decide when they are old enough to understand, but my job isn’t their job and even the. I probably will still not allow their faces to show. So brava for your choice, kids should be able to grow up anonymous!

My husband is very tall and 1/4 Dutch. Our first baby was a boy. He was a giant compared to the rest of his siblings! He was also very late, so hopefully your little one will be more punctual 😂

First of all congratulations on your little boy, I saw on Instagram that he's already here for a few weeks now! 🥰 I'm watching this in the middle of my second trimester and I am already a bit impatient to be at the point you're at in this video. The first trimester I had extreme backpain and nausea and about zero energy, I couldn't work at all and was just stuck in bed most days. The second trimester is a tiny bit better so far but I have still only about 30% of my normal energy and am still on anti-nausea meds... I must admit, I'm always a bit envious when I hear others talk about how much energy or how little symptoms they had...😅

It's early days for me (13 weeks!) but I so appreciate everything you have shared about your pregnancy, Lucy! Thanks to your story, I was able to clock my "period" as implantation bleeding and find out about baby much sooner. I have also experienced such a dramatic uptick in my mental health, which would have been more confusing if you hadn't shared a similar experience. Baby content: your channel, your decision! Other parents go back to their former jobs, also… though, if you ever felt inclined to create some “growing with baby” clothes, you’d have at least one person to watch that video.
I was the same about my dresses, but if you end up breastfeeding then it’s another few months/years lol 😅 or you can make some wrap style/breastfeeding ones

About people not seeing your videos, a german youtuber made recently a video about that, after he was told that his videos are literally invisible for viewers. People could have their 'restricted mode' activated. This feature was introduced some years ago quietly and unmentioned and most people don't know about it. But it's automaticaly activated (and aparently it does activate every time you log out and back in) and it makes some videos invisible.
People watching on Computer or tablet can deactivate it easily, just click on your profile pic and then, under 'language' you have 'restricted mode'. It needs to 'deactivated'.
It's far more complicated when you are using RUclips on a smartphone though, and if those restricitons were activated by someone else through youtube family (like, parents), it's a different story.
It's unlikely that this channel is affected though, but the things that are 'worth restricting' according to RUclips have become such a ridiculous list (and long too), it's hard to tell.
Will you still be making baby and kids clothing moving forward? That could be really interesting to watch
Glad your placenta moved and that you've had an easy pregnancy and that you are grateful for it, hope birthing is just as wonderful! Water birth is amazing, I got to do an almost home birth in a birthing tub at a birthing center 5 minutes away from my house. No regrets choosing midwifery/natural birth (it does exist here in America if one looks for it/lucky enough to have it nearby!). Also I give you respect for your choice to leave baby out of your videos. In general I think people expect women to be overcome by motherhood and reform our identity to our children when we still really want to be ourselves too. Just like I don't want "mom" friends, I don't really watch mom creators either, I want to connect with people over mutual interests and values, outside of the fact that we have kids. However, it is so fun to see a favorite creator also happen to be a mom!
We’re pregnant at the same time. I’m also due in few days. Same had a great time in my 2, but the 3 trimester was little bit different. I think is good to not show baby on social media, however it could be nice to have some content about life experiences as a mom.
I loved watching your pregnancy content. I was a birth doula for 11 years and I still love seeing baby bumps grow.
But I definitely feel sad for babies who never have a choice about their face on the internet.
