The fake flowers in planters was my grandpa’s hack for so long!! He’d buy dollar tree flowers and make colorful arrangements in planters to hang in front of his house! Sadly, my grandpa passed last Summer, and when the house sold in December, my family left the planters hanging. I drive by occasionally and see the new family hasn’t taken them down. i hung dollar tree peel and stick wallpaper on the wall of my built ins. i did such a bad job that large gaps were showing and for the life of me, i couldn’t get it to align properly. i just went, got my colored pencils, and colored in all the gaps. no one can see the difference!
To make ur windows look bigger, hang ur rod a few inches outside the frame. Maybe add an extra panel. Hanging rods as close to the ceiling as u can and having the curtains go ceiling to floor makes a huge difference! Thanks Kallie. ❤❤
Kallie, I used to do so much stuff like this cos the first home I bought I was struggling with money while I was waiting to go back to work. I would do whatever I could to change the look of my home. It was a big 5 bedroom house out of town on 5 acres so it had a fairly big space to decorate and back then I would change furniture around every day of the week. I would always be changing decor or furnishings and I’d do everything as cheaply as I could as I had 5 children, the last 3 were very close in age so I still had quite a while before I went back to work. I loved being home with my children but I needed to do things or I’d go crazy lol. I must have had a better imagination than I have now cos I’d be changing everything I could. Can you use peel & stick wallpaper in a small bathroom? We have a small bathroom with some hideous wallpaper that would take a lot of work to remove or cover and I’m wondering if peeling stick could go right over it and would continue to stick with the humidity from the shower.
She can’t protect her brand at all with that name. It’s a common phrase on every t-shirt everywhere so she couldn’t trademark it or do anything to stop people from using it is my guess. And if this is the case, I totally support her wanting to protect her brand identity for future projects.

Not under the counter lighting, although that is a thing, it’s under the cabinet lighting that’s countertop task lighting 😊 but even as an interior designer, it’s a challenge to remember the right way to say it because so many ppl call it under counter lighting…. Also you look beautiful!! Your new house is looking great!
