The Jayda InStitches Show 2015
Three years ago this was my second ever scarf I ever made in my entire crochetl life and I gave it to the homeless as a little gift ☺️
What a sweet thing to do :)
This is my 1st scarf, and your tutorial is so easy to follow along with.
Thank you for going slow and being so thorough. It makes crocheting so much fun.
Jayda, i can't wait to make more of your projects.
Here's from one HAPPY crochet nut to another.
Hi Anna! Thank you for watching!
I love her attitude she’s bubbly which makes her craft exciting exciting
Thank you! I’m having a crochet party and needed something for absolute beginners that wasn’t going to take hours! Nice job❣️
Perfect!! Thank you for watching :)
Just did this scarf yesterday. My first crochet scarf. Made a chain of 110 for the base and used the Facet yarn red topaz.
Sounds really pretty! :)
You are TRULY THE BEST!! Thank you for all you do!! You are adorable!!!❤ Your projects always come out great AND you are the best teacher in the crochet world!!!
Hi Lori! Thank you so much for watching 😊
I watch/try a lot of different tutorials on youtube but I have to say that by far, YOU are my Favorite! You are the easiest one to learn from with your step by step pace, clarity and camera angle . Thank You So Much because crocheting means a lot to me. You are the BEST!
Hi Irene, thank you so much, we really appreciate hearing that :)
I love your attitude it’s bubbly
Hi Tania! Thank you so much for watching 💗
Thought I was gonna run out of yarn, the same as my hat. Paper cover said I would need two balls for a scarf. Tada!! The last bit I had left was just enough. Thanks Jada.❄I'll add snowflakes to both. You ideas are cute.
Hi Maureen! Thank you for watching 😊
Love that your edge looked as messy as my edges! AND that you showed how to fix it! Your cheerfulness is a real pick-me-up!💖
In Crochet, there's pretty much a 'fix' for everything! LOL
I made three of these scarves this week while I was stuck at home for three days!! So fast and easy. I posted the first one to Instagram so you can see it!! The name of the yarn is red heart latte stripes. Alot of it looked like chocolate or chocolate chip cookies!! Yummy!! My two favorite foods!! If it’s not chocolate, then I say “why bother”! Thank you for this pattern!
* giggle * So every time you wear this scarf are you going to crave cookies? They sound really pretty!!
I have watched so many tutorials about doing this and been confused every time. Thank you for yours because it actually makes sense to me can’t wait to try it.
Wonderful! Thank you for watching Lynne :)
That scarf is so pretty-it is my favorite shade of blue!! I think I will make one for my Wichita charity box since it is too warm for scarves here!!! Thank you. You are so entertaining and easy to follow!!!
Thank you Jayda! Ive been searching for this 😂! Its perfect ! Happy Crotcheting.
Perfect! Thank you for watching Marilyn! 🍂
Jayda, just love your creations, patterns etc., and your teaching!! Have been a self-taught crocheted for 5 years and cont to learn and be I aspired by you, the most. And other teachers. Thanks so much for having your RUclips of crochetting and specials, too!
Am trying to post this...!
Hi Nancy! Thank you so much for watching :)
Thank you so much for making this video. Your stitches in these videos are done so slowly that I can actually understand what you are doing. I have a horrible time getting my stitches correctly done on the turns. I rip out more stitches than I crochet. Thanks for your help. You are the best! I have tried watching other videos but the instructors go waaaay too fast for me to understand. I have even taken 2 Beginner Crochet classes at JoAnn Fabrics; however, I have learned more from you. Thanks again, Jayda.
+S Devine Thank you for watching! :)
She is awesome. Thank you.
thanks for being so clear on turning your work, totally fixed the issues I was having :)
Ok
Jayda you are the best, i have learned so much from you and I have learned to love crocheting thanks to you.
+Nan Martin Thank you for watching, Nan :)
(
I just finished my scarf the other day, but took an experimental departure for fun. I used black yarn (also two strands, like yours) in between each of the color rows, crocheting through the back loops only except for the border, which is black as well. The result is the appearance that the black rows are inset, and I'm quite happy with the way it turned out. Thank you!
Hi Betty, that sounds great! Isn't experimenting fun?! Thank you for watching :)
I just love the look of this scarf. I am new to crochet and I have just got my first set of crochet needles. I love the idea of the single crochet border as it neatens everything up. Will let you know how I get on with this scarf. The beauty of this is that it does not take too long to make as well. Thanks for posting this video tutorial.
Hi June, thank you for writing! Good luck with your scarf :)
This is just lovely. I’m going to show my daughter this who is learning to crochet and feels like she can’t make anything because this is so perfect and would really help us through chilly winters.
Also she wants me to help make things to donate and I think this would be just perfect! And the color combinations are endless!!! Thank you thank you
HI Kathleen, this is a great sort of pattern to start with for someone who is just starting out in crochet :) It's wonderful to be able to make something you can wear yourself (that was a major plus for me when I was just a girl learning how to do all this!). It's also wonderful to make things for charity that folks will find really warm and comforting in the winter!
Jayda InStitches well my daughter has declared she’s making my mother a hat and scarf for Xmas! This really is so perfect. I found an organization here in the states that help native Americans still living on reservations. They are the poorest in the country sadly.
I knit and crochet and have sewn some. My husband bought me a sewing machine, my first ever, so I’ll be sewing soon too. All of which my daughter wants to do!
You should do some sewing tutorials if you find the time. I’ve always wanted to make a broomstick skirt. 😄❤️
I wish you both the absolute best. Thank you for taking the time to teach us all and brighten our days!
Jada thx so much for your easy to understand video. I am able to follow your instructions. Keep them coming please. It's like taking a class with a great teacher.Love your personality.
HI Suzi! Thank you for watching :)
Just found this tutorial recently and I’ve made TWO in the last three days. And I did my first star on one of them. I like this scarf because it’s narrow. Great tutorial and I love your enthusiasm!
Hi Gina, that's super! Talk about a productive 2 days :) Thank you for watching!

Hi Hanna! That's great :)
I just wanted to say hi and let you know how much I love your tutorials. This is the second one that I have watched (so far). I also watched your hat tutorial on how to make a hat. You are a great teacher. I love your upbeat personality. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and making learning different projects fun.
+Donna Masters Hi Donna! Thank you so much for watching and saying hello! :)
I am new to the crochet world, and I really like your videos. Thanks so much!! I'm going to watch your 'Quick Tips' for yarn shopping now! I'm going to make donations of scarves, hats, baby blankets etc., so I'll take all the shopping tips I can get! Thanks, and keep the videos coming!

Hi Regena! Thank you for watching :)
I love this video you teach crocheting so easily to me that I am able to crochet, which is awesome. Thank you for teaching me and everyone else.
Hi Lydia! Thank you so much for watching :)
I'm usually a strict loomer; BUT once I made the granny squares with your tutorial realized I can crochet too. Can't wait to make this scarf; I just bought a new set (of three) new crochet needles; and one of them had a large hook in them. :D
* squeak *!! I love new sets of needles! Much fun ahead :)
I'm thinking of getting another one (or two) but maybe smaller...have 10 and 10.5 wanna experiment with smaller ones :D Thx for the inspiration! :) :D :)
Absolutely love to watch you work you make explain everything you do which makes it easier for the likes of me to follow thank you so much you really make my day xx
+Trudy Hannigan Thank you for watching, Trudy! :)
I really like this pattern and you do a great job going slow for us beginners, so thank you! I have cranked out three of these in the last couple of days, as the beginning of my Christmas list, and have many more to go. Have been adding tassels (thank you for that tutorial as well, Jayda!) to each one. This is such a quick make. For me as a beginner it's extremely satisfying to follow you along and quickly finish a project that looks lovely and is of high quality so that it can be gifted. Thank you so much for your videos!
Hi! Thank you for watching :) We're so pleased you've enjoyed making this hat!
As always...Love your tutorial. Really appreciate the simplicity. Be blessed Jayda.
I love watching your videos. I learn a few things and I like the way you make it interesting also bring a smile to me. My granddaughter loves owls so I saved your pattern for the chiki chubby owls.

Thank you for your tutorial! Awesome job! I love your energy 🤗your so easy to follow. I was so happy it didn’t take me all day to complete as I needed 3 different scarfs for 3 little girls.
Thank you for watching Patricia!
Beautiful
Hi Jayda, I love this scarf. I made one exactly the way your video shows us a few days ago. Since then I have made three more. One is 160 chains long and I made it thicker. The other is 120 long and I made it slightly thicker. Then I made one 200 long super thick and then stitched the ends together to make an infinity scarf. This is such a versatile pattern AND for the first time I have been able to make something without getting wonky ends. Your tutorial is great. thank you so much for making it.
Hi Marci! Thank you so much for sharing (and watching!) I love the variety of looks you can get with this pattern!
These scarfs and hats and mittens are going to be my Christmas gifts all colors. For my church family members. And most of my friends and family to. Thankyou jayda and mr. stitches
Love and God bless you both Susan morris from hyde park in Boston Massachusetts
HI Jayda, I finished the scarf. It came out very nice. I will be giving it to my sister-in-law. Now I have to make one for myself. I used a 5 weight yarn - heathered. The color is pomegranate (pink/rose) . I purchased the yarn from AC Moore. Stitch Studio by Nicole. Thanks for your tutoring. :) I will be going back to yarn store tomorrow.(Of course for more yarn). I plan on crocheting a pillow cover, I bought the pillow form today. You have created a crochet monster. LOL LOL LOL.
oooh that sounds so pretty! * giggle * don't worry, we're the friendly kind of monsters!
Making this in red and green and adding your snowflake application. So excited :D
That sounds totally festive! :)

Ur so darn fantastic Jayda! Love all of your tutorials 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🤗
Plz never stop making videos 😃
* blushes * Thank you Sande! It's a team effort here, and we appreciate hearing that :)
Great scarves! I think I would double the length and widen it for infinity scarves as I prefer wider to cover my mouth. The thing with scarves, you can make them to your liking.
Another reason I love scarves :) You can vary up the pattern to suit!
I did a sweet set using.cream and chocolate colored yarns together.to.make a hershey hug look... Love.your style 👍😀👍
Elle Lee That sounds cozy AND yummy! :) Thanks Elle!!
Excellent and fun on ALL levels
Hi Jada! A scarf to go with the hats ;)
This is Mary. For my scarf I used teal and white mixed together. The hook size I used was a US P- 15/11.50mm.
+Mr. & Mrs. C Hi Mary! That sounds soooo pretty! I made one like that, baby blue and sparkly white, then I added a couple of snowflakes to them - I love that whole Frozen effect :)
Thank you also and thank goodness for where I live in Australia it doesn’t get too cold but this would be a great 👍 gift 🎁

Your sound effect when you turned a corner is so joyful! Your personality and sense of humour really help make your videos great for rewatching! 👍
Shouldn't the title be Easy instead of East though? 🤔
Yes! Yes it should...that's strange...
Hi Jayda, It's been awhile, but I was looking for this video of yours, so I could make this scarf again this fall. It's very comfy cozy and my friends love it. I crocheted the same scarf for them too. I am making another one for myself this time around. So glad I found your channel. Thank you for your wonderful teaching. Happy holidays to you:)

I'm a beginner and I made this in under 2 hours today. I took someone else's advice and chained 110 on the first row because 80 just wasn't going to cut it. This is a great tutorial though. Thanks!!
Hi Jayda. I am grateful with your scarf design. This will be an added collection of mine. Thank you very much.

Thank you. This is so easy and so fast.
Thank you for watching :)
I LOVE this pattern. SO easy! Thank you! :)
Can you help us to make an attractive shrug? Either a airy one or tight, you choose. These are easy and attractive. I live in a high cold elevation this it something I would wear as a layer in the winter. You have a great understanding of how a underling thinks in the business of crocheting and a fun personality. I'm starting with making your hat but will be looking for the shrug instructions next. Thanks a bunch! ~Linda
Hi Linda, thank you for the suggestion :) Have you tried out lovely shawl pattern? You can find that here :ruclips.net/video/Wx_b-69swVA/видео.html
