This is the best beginner video I've seen for crocheting a scarf! I loved your genius move to crochet the scarf lengthwise instead of crosswise, which is what many other videos do. It creates a much more attractive scarf because it works with the natural "grain" of a crochet stitch vs. a knitting stitch. Thank you!

I have been crocheting for 40+ years and in all that time I have seen many instructional videos, read pattern instructions, etc. and this is the best,, simplest, most efficient, well.....PERFECT lesson I've had the privilege of watching. It covers every aspect of crocheting in the perfect order,at a perfect pace, effortless to follow....it is the exact definition of a tutorial, unlike SO MANY others, and if this is the first instructional video that you watch while learning to crochet, you WON'T need to watch another, heck, this girl is so good, you probably won't even need to use the pause button. I agree. I too have been crocheting for 35+ years and she is great. I was hoping to see her add tassels to the ends. I know how but it would have been nice for others to learn from her. I am making one right now with double strands in red sparkle. I will add single stitch to both ends for a clean finish and put single tassle on each stitch instead of 4 or 5 per.

I’m learning that it really makes a difference what type of yarn will give you the best back-bumps. Who knew! After weeks of trial and error, I ordered the Bernat Maker Home Dec Yarnspiration (72% cotton, 28% nylon). It called for an 8mm hook but I’m practicing with a 5.5. It’s a stretchy rope-like yarn that’s very easy with which to practice. Y’all! I am -hooked! 😂. Thank you sooooo much B.Hooked Crochet! You’re the bestest! 🥰

I love these videos. They are very high quality and she is also an awesome instructor. Everything is very detailed and she goes very slowly. I have attempted crochet more than once and find patterns so challenging. It has been great to find bhooked and her videos. I looked at a flower video she did and thought there is no way I can do that, but she goes slow and it is all so clear. Thank you!

Thank you, thank you, thank you! I've been watching tutorials and practicing with little projects for the past year, but your video surpasses all of the resources I looked at previously. Thank you for speaking so succinctly, and providing a wealth of knowledge. (The white background is also much appreciated to see the stitches).

I am a a crocheted, and I don’t listen to everybody I’m 72 years old. I’m from Brooklyn but you are very good your direct you know just what to do and how to do and how to direct people on how to crochet and I think that you are a wonderful teacher And I’m enjoying myself because you know I just said let me look at this lady because I crocheted all my life but I wasn’t doing it the right way I wasn’t not counting I was just crocheting off my head and it still came out pretty but you know and learned how to do it not by the rules and stuff like that. I’m learning today it is September 16 ‘ today and I’m your new prescriber and I’m really enjoying you and want to continue looking at in and join you in the future. Thank you Nanapat from Brooklyn May God bless you and keep you and your beautiful family. You teach where you really can understand and you take your time and we are senior citizens. We need that. Love you once again, Nanapat.

I loved your tutorial. I appreciated how you took your time and how thorough you were in making sure that I/we saw where you entered the stitches and ended them. As a beginner who saw many tutorials and was unsure how to crochet, yours was slower and easier to follow. It's as if you were there with me guiding me through the process without feeling rushed.🥰

This was my very first crochet project. I had started by learning single crochet, double crochet and half double crochet first and was just doing grandma squares. But this is my first actual project that I would wear! I picked a beautiful berry purple yarn and it turned out great! Thank you!

It came out looking great, I added more rows for a wider look - a count of 8. For a 1st time beginner the tutorial helped alot and eventually got it down. Took me two days to finish, it'll be a great gift!! Thank you!💕

You are a great teacher! I am also a self-taught crocheter and wish I had known about stitch markers for tagging the end of rows. It is so easy to miss that last stitch and end up with wobbly edges as well as decreasing number of stitches on each row. I love this scarf and may make one. Easy and fun. Thanks!

I love this video. Yes I know it's a year old but it's great. I'm not a beginner, however I do love the simple stitches and patterns. Thank you for making this very easy and slow video. I had to use the speed option to speed up your video. I love this pattern. Hugs. OH and I really like your off the shoulder sweater, May I ask where you purchased it from? Thanks again.

Thank you, thank you! Finally, I was able to do the absolute basics. My mom tried to teach me for years and years, I tried to learn from books and other videos, I dont know if I'm just stupid but I just couldn't understand the process. You're a really good teacher, very patient and sweet. I felt like you're teaching me in person. Seriously, thank you very much. You don't know what an achievement this simple thing feels like. ❤️❤️❤️
