LOVE this video especially the tip at the end for weaving in small tails.
Thank you so much for explaining and showing everything. I’ve watched quite a few waffle stitch videos and was getting so frustrated; I’m so glad I found your video!
I LOVE how you explain things!
Thank you!
You did a GREAT JOB explaining! I’m loving how my scarf is coming out so far!

Fantastic, thanks!!
Mine too 😍
Thank you so much you are a great teacher! This was only my 4th project and I completed it without any problem. I love the look of this scarf and it will be someone's Christmas gift this year!
I have started crocheting about 2 months ago and your tutorials are very easy to understand. I love your projects.
Thank you for the lovely tutorial in detail. I love your way of a DC in the beginning and ending of the row. It does not show any hole/space. You are a great tutor! 🌷
Love this! Your tutorials are so good I keep coming back.
Thank you so much for sharing this with me. I have been wanting to learn this stitch for a while and you are right it isn’t hard. Thanks again. You made it easy. Excellent teach!!! ☺️
Love this stitch ! :) made a rather pastel-ish 8.5 foot mega scarf! Lots of fun. I'm sure it will find a home.... somewhere Thanks for the great & easy tutorial

This is a brilliant video tutorial, thank you so much and especially thank you for the multiples. I had never worked anything in crochet before but I like watching your videos. We had some bad weather in the uk which meant a lot of unexpected time stuck indoors. I have made a waffle stitch snood in a dk weight yarn & a 4mm hook using these instructions and it has come out brilliantly.
Your instructions are very clear and easy to understand. This stitch does look harder than it actually is. This is my next project - thanks!
wow...i have passed up trying the waffle stitch a 100 times because i thought it would be to hard.
thanks for taking the time to do a crochet along that is easy to follow and just as easy to understand. I have had some very positive feedback on the scarf that i made. Happy Holidays to you and yours
Hi Jennifer, I saw many different versions for this stitch but was not comfortable with the edges, used to find it confusing! I absolutely love it thatin your pattern we start the same way on both rows! So easy to follow and remember! Loving this pattern! Thanks a lot for this fantastic tutorial 😊👍
I used this pattern a couple of years ago but needed a refresher course. This is an excellent video!
You explained this so well. I was able to make my little niece a scarf 🧣 thank you! ❄️
I am new to crochet. This is my 1st project. I love your video, I have watched it several times and it really helped me t o understand the concept . I am a knitter so I am use to videos. Thanks for all your help. I love your website.Bonnie F.
Just so you know ....You are the...perfect crochet teacher .🌻🌻
I have come back to this video SO many times ... thank you!! :)
Hi. I completed the scarf n it turned out to be awesome. Thanks for such a great tutorial
I really love your tutorials! So clear and easy to follow. Subscribed!
Thanks for this pattern. I used Bernat Blanket for a different texture and thickness. Using one skein, about 14 chains to start up, works very quickly, probably 2 hours, no interruptions. Scarf is super chunky thick! Wish I could post a pic!
Hello, would you mind sharing what size needle you used for this thread? I would like to try it. Thanks
So glad I saw this comment, I was thinking about using bernat blanket yarn as well. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you for the wonderful video I started crocheting about a year ago and you taught it well and made it easy for me to learn
Love the scarf! Great video very easy to follow.
You are the best , I watch them over & over thank your for all your help ❤🌼💝
I just finished an Afghan in this pattern. I can honestly say it’s a pattern you have to pay attention to what you’re doing, but it’s worth it
Just wrote the instructions Loved the tutorial! My sister asked me to work her up a scarf! Yay!
Great tutorial - I love how you explain the fpdc, and the scarf is nice and textured :-)
Love it. Already making Christmas items for family 2018. I have some beautiful tweed like Vana White yarn color is called obsidian (deep charcoal with a lite tan fleck) that will be a beautiful scarf for my brother. Love your instructions so easy to follow. Thank you
Thankyou for your video!!! I've made a scarf for my friend and I love it ! Thankyou 👍💛
WOW!!! Thank You! I feel inspired! I'm going to try this. I've watched RUclips Videos for years now and never felt compelled to comment. Thank you for this excellent lesson. You made a seemingly complex project seem approachable. Thank you!
Thank so much for your kind comment! I'm so glad you liked the video!!
Fiber Flux I am a beginner. What happens if I use a thinner yarn and a 4mm hook?
I’m going to Belgium in March! Glad I came across your video
Amaizing!!!crocheting is the BEST!!!

I love the waffle stitch. You did a wonderful job explaining how to do the stitch. Great tutorial. The waffle stitch has a wonderful texture. Would you please make a tutorial for a dishcloth using this stitch? Great work, Jennifer.

Beautiful. Wonderful stitch and easy to work with
Thank you for clear instructions and awesome pattern❤️
I was always confused on how the horizontal ringing was made but had never seen any waffle stitch pieces or handled them to see how it was done, this was an easy follow along! I used the “mistletoe” yarn by RHSS and used a jumbo roll + half of a second jumbo roll to make it and I’m gone to border it with white and add tassels 😁😁
Beautiful. I am a newbie to crochet. I was thinking which stitch to use to crochet a scarf for my son who is in Canada, I guess I found one 😊. Thank you for easy instructions.
Jennifer I am obsessed with this pattern! I have made 6 different colored scarves for gift giving this Christmas. Your instructions are so clear, they take away any reservations about trying something new. Keep the videos coming... I'm a real fan! Thank you.

I'm thinking of making a matching hat and fingerless gloves if it is possible with this stitch. Maybe with smaller hook. If not just use the same yarn. Thanks again. Take care, jlee

Thanks a lot. I learned this stitch from uour video and made a very pretty muffler for my uncle.
I love your videos. I've tried listening to others but your voice is very pleasing and you give full instructions. I'm trying to learn the Herringbone stitch and I'm unable to locate one that you have done. Can you point me in the right direction ?
Great instructions thank you!
Just finished my scarf I started yesterday. I ended mine different to make it look like the other side. I stopped the waffle pattern where you did but then it did 1 row of all double crochet then 1 row of 1/2 or slip stitch. This gives the same look as the chain row and 1st row of double crochet.
I like this pattern and I am going to make a scarf fro my son and he likes this pattern.
really beautiful
Loved doing this project, very good video, I also was confused and still am about the stitch count on starting the scarf, but trial and error helped... very new at crocheting, really keen. Would this waffle scarf be suitable for an infinity scarf in your opinion?
Thank you for your amazing tutorial.
really lovely!!!! thank you!
Thank you so much, it was very useful to me, I hope I could show you the scarf I made
Finishing needles are great for weaving in small yarn pieces
