This is a brilliant video tutorial, thank you so much and especially thank you for the multiples. I had never worked anything in crochet before but I like watching your videos. We had some bad weather in the uk which meant a lot of unexpected time stuck indoors. I have made a waffle stitch snood in a dk weight yarn & a 4mm hook using these instructions and it has come out brilliantly.

Thanks for this pattern. I used Bernat Blanket for a different texture and thickness. Using one skein, about 14 chains to start up, works very quickly, probably 2 hours, no interruptions. Scarf is super chunky thick! Wish I could post a pic!

I was always confused on how the horizontal ringing was made but had never seen any waffle stitch pieces or handled them to see how it was done, this was an easy follow along! I used the “mistletoe” yarn by RHSS and used a jumbo roll + half of a second jumbo roll to make it and I’m gone to border it with white and add tassels 😁😁

Just finished my scarf I started yesterday. I ended mine different to make it look like the other side. I stopped the waffle pattern where you did but then it did 1 row of all double crochet then 1 row of 1/2 or slip stitch. This gives the same look as the chain row and 1st row of double crochet.
