Thank you!!! I was practicing and practicing the front post triple crochets when we do the cable crossings and then the back post double crochets into those on the next row... I kept watching your video several times and eventually it clicked. I can now do each row without mess ups and knowing what is happening 🥰🥰🥰 You’re awesome and I appreciate having your teachings!!! I am actually doing it!!!! Yeahy!!!!

Absolutely beautiful
I have not tried this yet, but I watched the whole thing! I want to tell you that you are amazing. There are just a few of you out there who have the ability to make the most difficult things understandable. You are definitely one of them. There are things I have had questions about for years, and when I go to your channel I always find definitive answers and or a better way of doing what I need. Thank you for your time and dedication. Youe are a treasure!
Thank you for blessing me today with your kind words Julie! We all need this these days. God bless you !😊❤️

Such a gorgeous scarf ... I REALLY appreciate how well you demonstrate how you do this stitch ... :)))
I must be missing something because I’m not able to follow her at all...I’ve had to ask my friend who’s got 50 years experience and she even said she doesn’t explain very well.
@@deniser362 everybody's different, hon ... what works for me, may not work for another ... :)
So beautiful👍🍀

I struggled with the FPTC from the back, but once I got the hang of it I thoroughly enjoyed making this scarf and it came out beautifully.
Whew! So glad this worked out for you Joanne!
Nice scarf definitely will be doing a couple of them, thank you❤️. If you can do a matching hat that would be awesome.

This is gorgeous...looks a little hard for me but that won't stop me from trying. Hope you and your family have a safe and blessed Holiday Season.
It's ok to make mistakes and get a little messy during the learning process Sandra. One day I'm going to share my very first crochet project (sometime in 2020), and it is just that - full of mistakes and a bit messy! I'm encouraged by your attitude to give it a try!! Wishing you all the very best!
Hi Bonnie love this, you are a great teacher so competent, thank you very much, l love the wattle stitch too 😊😊😊

Bonnie, I'm going to take this on. I've got the yarn I want, and I'm ready to go. I read in the comments that you teach music to children, so I imagine you're a lovely person. Anyway, thanks for making this video. We who are about to crochet salute you. :D
Thank you Betty! Yes, I studied to be a music teacher in college and have done it off and on for years, but no so much these days. Wishing you the best!😊❤️

excellent scarf thank you
Just finish mine one today with 150 rows of cables ( exclude 7 rows of fp.& bp.stitches on both end.
Thank you for your useful and v.easy to follow vdo.tuition clip.
That's great! So glad you enjoyed this one!
Hi this is a great tutorial. I just joined you. I love cable stitch. I never knew how to do it though. What better time to learn. Beautiful pattern for a scarve
Thanks Tina! I have many different cables on my channel, and I try to make them all attainable.
OMG How unique, I cannot wait to start this, I normally knit my cables, but crochet is way too much quicker, on the last row of my previous scarf, last row & then reverse shell border, maybe tassels, shouldn't take long, then I'll immediately start this, thanks.
Thank you, Bonnie!!! Scarf turned out very nice!!!
Oooh...I would love to see it Chris! Can you post on my Bonnie Bay Crochet Facebook page here? facebook.com/bonnie.m.barker.7/ If not, no problem!
Beautiful 😍😍👌
This is so beautiful ma'am 😊
Thank you Kavita!😊❤️
Omg this is crochet looks so much like knit
Thank you ........🌷🌷🌷🌷
Nice pattern but I’m straggling in row 6 but by going back over and over I’m pretty sure I will get it 😄😄😃thank you
Here's another video on the Wheat Cable alone: ruclips.net/video/Noig8pi8X4U/видео.html
👍thank you. Nice video and explained
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
My pleasure Ana!
For Row Eight, 2nd set of treble crochets. Spent two days trying to figure out the 'back door treble crochet'. To help others, grab only the TOP STITCH from the previous (double front post) row.
I’m with Sara, very hard to see black on black but a beautiful design and tutorial, thank you.
Awesome
Hi Bonnie, I can’t wait to try this pattern after making two of your Butter popcorn scarves 🧣. My question is how long was this scarf? The popcorn scarves turned out to be quite long and I cannot find a measurement in the description. This is a perfect gift for any man / woman. What a talented lady you are!
wow nice
Merci!
Row 8: 13:18
Row 9: 17:12
Row 10: 19:35
Row 11: 21:31
Row 12: 23:25
Thank you for posting the time stamps. Much appreciated.
@@elizabetholiviaclark thank you! It was a great tutorial and I love my new scarf!!
Very beautiful! Thank you! If one wanted to turn it into a sweater, what is the multiple?
LaWally not sure since sweaters are very size specific. Please check out the Orlaith Robe Sweater on my home page.
I think you are the greatest chrocet teacher ever the only thing that would make these video better would be marking chapters :) please?
Thank you Polly! Adding chapters add depends on the time I have. I'm a one person show here right now.
@@BonnieBayCrochet I understand 😊 thank you for responding.
Honestly I got a little lost so I frogged my work and I'll come try again soon. Your patterns are so beautiful I'm determined I will learn them.
@@pollyhannahestherbriggs thanks for your understanding. I’ll see what I can do. RUclips adds these automatically for some channels.
Amazing thank you so much can’t wait to try it…. Would have liked it if you did it in a plain light colour white.
Yes, I too am learning as I go!
I doubled the chain to 62 to make it wider but now I have five cables. Ugh. I'm hoping I can continue and it will still look as good!
Bful scarf pattern..loved it and making it....i know u said its upto us for length but i wonder how many cables u made it totalxxx
Love the scarf. And the yarn is beautiful. The cables are a bit labor intensive for me (just my own opinion) but I'm the first to say the end result is amazing.
Thank you Line Danzer. I think once you get used to the technique it does get easier. All my best...
@@BonnieBayCrochet *Love your work!* 💛🧡💜💙
