    Cable knitting has always scared me, but this tutorial is so easy to follow, I am itching to start (have to finish my blanket first). When I showed this to my daughter, she said the name was perfect, although it also put her in mind of Medusa. I'll let you know how it goes. Thank you for sharing this with us x

    I made this last year as my first knitting project. I had to undo and redo my first 10-15 rows a couple of times, but once I got the hang of it it was extremely easy and fun to complete. It's my favorite scarf that I own, and it looks so intricate and visually interesting! Thank you for the video!

    this looks great and your video instructions are very good since I haven't done cables in a long time. I would like to do this scarf as soon as I finish what I'm working on now. And I love that it's reversible because most cables patterns are to reversible. And when I finish it, I would also like your tutorial on blocking because I haven't done that in ages, with my Mom when I was a little kid. Thanks.

    Hi Kristen. I don’t know how I missed this video. This pattern is stunning! I love the edges of the s art. It looks so warm and cozy! I don’t know if I have any straight needles in this size. I use circulars most of the time. I’ll have to get some! I did just buy some pretty cable needles from Lantern Moon. This might just be the project for them! Beautiful pattern and tutorial.     I love this scarf and I really want to make this. I have tried making this and the cables come out looking weird. I’ve unraveled over and over. I followed the video and pattern. I can’t figure this out. 😭

    I have seen you before with your wonderful channel, but i just start and have a little think that making fashion stuff isn't easy so i start with amigurumi instead.
    But now, when i start making fashion stuff, i look up the internet for some scarf idea and saw your scarf, an absolutely beautiful pattern. Im planning on knitting this scarf, but 40 stitch cast on is A LOT but worth it since we making 2x2 ribs. Guess im visiting the yarn shop in a few dayy.

    I am in complete AWWW of how you teach this pattern!! I am a self-taught knitter and wish I found your sight earlier. I can't wait to make this absolutely gorgeous scarf.     Love the pattern and the tutorial is very easy to follow, but I'm so confused why it's not looking the same :( Ive done about 24 rows after the setup rows and the cable is going in a continuous S pattern instead of the flowy pattern you've shown in the photos. What am I doing wrong? 😭

    It's so hard to do it
    I always mess up when it's time to start the part where I make the vine part. My needle always slips off and I have to restart again

    Beautiful! Would love to see a blanket pattern with this cable pattern. Finished this last summer in bulky yarn and just enjoying it now in the cold northeast winter. I made it as an infinity scarf and it’s so warm! I’ve been asked where I bought it LOL. I have lots of worsted weight 100% wool I’d like to use to make a few more. Can you suggest how I could modify the pattern - cast on more stitches? TIA

    Hi Kristen, love this pattern. I'm thinking of doing this in a lightweight metallic yarn. Do you think it would work as a decorative light scarf??

      I haven’t tried it, so I’m not sure, but I encourage to to knit up a few rows and see how you like it. You may wish to add stitches in multiples of 8 if you need it to be wider. 💖

    I love this and as a beginner I feel like I could do this. But where do you get your supplies? I looked up cable kitting needles and I didn't find any like yours.

    I think I need a border on the edges because the working yarn is too tight for the first stitches as cables. What do you think about the tightness??

      @@studioknit I’m wondering why the pattern hasn’t worked for me but to be fair I really haven’t had a lot of time to really work on it too much. It’s a beautiful pattern. Also I’m left handed so I wanted to know if when I knit this if maybe my cables need to be switched. I’m not really sure how that works. Do you have any input on that??
