    Very easy pattern. Thanks for sharing it. By the way, if you used metal needles you would have a much easier time. Some yarns just don’t work that well with wooden needles.

    If you repeat just row 1 you'd almost be working the broken garter stitch pattern, which I highly recommend as a beginner scarf pattern. It's a good guy pattern, too.

      did u work it out? i’m lost aswell😭😭

    • @_hurm_
      @_hurm_ 2 года назад

      Try counting rows if you can (sometimes thick yarn can be confusing) but your first row should be odd 1,3,5,7,9
      And the second rows should be even 2,4,6,8
      Your last row should be even and the cast off row should be odd.
      Also it can help to have a piece of yarn stuck through the row you last counted so you don’t have to recount the whole garment!
      Hope that helps!

    I’m new to knitting, so sorry if this is a stupid question. I want to know, does it matter if I use 10mm needle instead of 9mm? Also, I know other projects we have to make sure we got gauge. But does it matter for this pattern?

    This is almost like a pattern I found, it's called: Mistake Rib, it has a one row repeat. It's a multiple of 4 plus 3 : * knit 2, p2, repeat from* to last 3 stitches, k2,p1. That row gets repeated until the scarf is done. After a few rows you can see the pattern is very close to yours.

    I can see your having trouble with the wooden needles as well . The yarn doesn't glide as easy ,but I've found a little trick that's helps alot I take just take some wax paper from the kitchen and rub it really really good on the needles or if you want you can get needle wax. But it's cheaper to use to wax paper or Beeswax candles works to .

      You could make a wider swatch, finish it completely, then sew a string along the stitches on one side. Pull it taunt, and tie it off- It will have a lovely dome, but a little hole on the top. I usually cover that with a lil pom pom.
