If dropping the stitch really freaks you out, count down 4 and put a stitch marker in the 5th stitch, then you know that you will not totally lose the plot or your mind as you drop the stitches because the ladder will stop at the stitch marker, a safety pin will do, it’s time consuming but is helpful for a beginner until you gain confidence

After watching several videos on how to knit the bubble stitch, trying to work the K4B pattern out on my beanie only to have to rip it out because I really didn’t understand how it worked, watching this video I can see what I was doing wrong! I’m more of a visual learner and the contrast of the white yarn and the dark blue yarn made me see where I was going wrong! Whew! Thank you for making this video! I can now continue the bubble knit beanie pattern without giving up! ❤

fifth row: whats this K4B thing? okay lets watch the tutorial.

fifth row: i wonder if i can do this (starting to get nervous)
sixth row: rreeeaaaly nervous , holding my breath + internal screaming through the rest of the row.
but i'm glad i was able to do it, thank you : ) for the tutorial, it was easy to follow and yet at the same time almost giving me the heart attack with the K4B. once again thank you :)

I saw your bubble hat pattern on ravelry and the link on your site sent me here, I am not a very experienced knitter and seeing the dropped stitches really scared me (not being able to control the dropped stitches are what have kept me from continuing on and expanding my knitting), although I do want to master my fear. I think if I can make the hat, I think my fear will be beat. I am putting the hat on my que list, I love that you have a great tutorial with basic chatter and great shots on how to do the stitches. It looks like I can do it and when I start, I will be able to do so much more with knitting, than I ever thought possible.

Wait that’s it?! It looks SO difficult when looking at patterns. I have avoided patterns because of this stitch. Thank you for making it so simple!!
