The Late Show with Stephen Colbert is the premier late night talk show on CBS, airing at 11:35pm EST, streaming online via CBS All Access, and delivered to the International Space Station on a USB drive taped to a weather balloon. Every night, viewers can expect: Comedy, humor, funny moments, witty interviews, celebrities, famous people, movie stars, bits, humorous celebrities doing bits, funny celebs, big group photos of every star from Hollywood, even the reclusive ones, plus also jokes.
Lol Stephen came up and whispered the word "Shitty" in her ear at the end to "complete it". Which is both hilarious, and shows that he was familiar with the song, which is pretty damn rad.
Probably was only commenting on the performance.
I think Stephen chooses and research to the hilt everything and everyone that is on his show. We love him because he's an AUTHENTIC person and takes ownership of his every word, thought and deed. And that is what makes him the best. It's what has made John Oliver the best at what he does - and I think it 100% totally stems from their association with Jon Stewart, who also is completely authentic and without guile.

King Princess is such an icon artist at the age of 20 and not to mention her iconic artist name. This performance and song is truly something special since it’s her first time debuting on live television with one of her first hits that made her well known in the music industry. So proud of this girl!! 💖

I love this song even more. This song is a like a nice bottle of red wine. I read about the 1950 reference and after this performance I was able to feel the struggle for love queer people had to go through. This is a beautiful performance. She really put herself into this. Stay humble.

The idea of the song is that she loves every moment with her girlfriend, even the ones where they have to pretend they're just friends or "play 1950" if you will. Which is a reference to the way which queer people had to hide their relationships from the public for fear of persecution. The line "tell me why my gods look like you" I've always felt was just her way of saying that she looks on her girlfriend like she were a goddess. She has several other songs alluding to herself giving oral sex to her girlfriend as "praying for hours" as well as the pretty on the nose song "pussy is god" in which she says "your pussy is god and I love it". The "I hate it when dudes try to chase me, but I love it when you try to save me" bit is pretty self explanatory, she hates guys hitting on her, but likes her girlfriend asserting herself and telling them off. Anyways I'm pretty sure that's all the possibly confusing lines in the song. Overall I love King Princess, you don't necessarily have to be a lesbian to like her music, but if like me you are, then there is definitely a lot for you there.
