It's a tough question. Large cities can vote. Rural can vote. If large cities outvote rural voters, then so be it. We all have to comply with what we disagree on.
When a few hundred votes in ONE STATE can wipe out a third of a MILLION nationwide, and less than 100,000 votes wiped out OVER A MILLION (two or three mil.?) there is certainly something wrong. I have a place in Reno, which is a lot smaller but has grown quickly, too. Reno is very busy now with post Burning Man people returning from the Playa. Always something happening in Nevada!

Maybe 1% of the people who say they are undecided and truly are. The 1% that really are undecided are likely very ignorant people that have absolutely no knowledge of either candidate. If you are the type of person who doesn't like to talk politics and someone comes up and asks you, who you are voting for. The easiest answer is to say, I am undecided. I don't know yet. That way you don't have to worry about debating someone.

The US electoral college problem is the exact same thing as the UN problem and the EU problem, and for the exact same reason. When you create a larger body out of the unification of states and still try to leave the component states some autonomy of their own, then states vote instead of the people in those states.

But rump advocated for shining light inside people's bodies to kill COVID after he heard that UV light was a way to kill germs. What?! How? And he thought bleach could be injected INSIDE people to kill germs, not being aware that would not be beneficial to their health. He also shut down the pandemic response arm of the government , downplayed the pandemic's dangers, withheld shipments of critical PPE to states he didn't like, refused to wear a mask, tried to block mask mandates across the country, encouraged crowded gatherings of people, supported people using horse wormer to treat the disease despite the company making ivermectin advising against using it because of the dangers, and on and on. That was all criminal because it no doubt killed many people who would otherwise have lived. And of course many of the people who died were maga supporters. There was a Facebook page that told the stories of rump supporters who caught COVID because of following rump's bad advice.

The non slave states were more densely populated and the southern slave holders realized the Northern industrial states at any time could vote to end slavery so they insisted on offsetting the population difference with the electoral college. Because the chain of information is flawed in the US. How is an undecided voter going to get the information needed to educate himself/herself if there is no clearly objective means of information? Fox is known to be far right. CNN is known to be left. Is there any network where everybody agrees that it’s neutral, objective news? If not, how can you trust what you see in TV if your undecided?
In the end you just assume everybody’s lying which leads you to pick based on your indivisible impression of the person (which you get in the debate - a clearly flawed perspective) or you don’t vote at all.

The US electoral college problem is the exact same thing as the UN problem and the EU problem, and for the exact same reason. When you create a larger body out of the unification of states and still try to leave the component states some autonomy of their own, then states vote instead of the people in those states.

He also shut down the pandemic response arm of the government , downplayed the pandemic's dangers, withheld shipments of critical PPE to states he didn't like, refused to wear a mask, tried to block mask mandates across the country, encouraged crowded gatherings of people, supported people using horse wormer to treat the disease despite the company making ivermectin advising against using it because of the dangers, and on and on. That was all criminal because it no doubt killed many people who would otherwise have lived. And of course many of the people who died were maga supporters. There was a Facebook page that told the stories of rump supporters who caught COVID because of following rump's bad advice.

Because the chain of information is flawed in the US. How is an undecided voter going to get the information needed to educate himself/herself if there is no clearly objective means of information? Fox is known to be far right. CNN is known to be left. Is there any network where everybody agrees that it’s neutral, objective news? If not, how can you trust what you see in TV if your undecided?
