Just so you know the one is that you don't like so much that come out when you go to take things off. The peg they have keepers that go around those singular ones and even the The 2 prong ones they go around the little tail that hangs down. They're white and they overlap the middle And it goes in to either side of the peg holes. That keeps them locked in place and you can always move one, they just pop out with a screwdriver.

I have always hated peg boards for that exact reason. Now I know it was the pegs I hated not the board. :)

i had problem with the pegs trying to work themself out as i try to remove the wrench or tool , i found hot gluing the pegs in the holes to stop that , better than commercial clips from E bay or amazon

For pegs that have two legs, use pliers to bend each leg out a hair, opening the distance between the legs just slightly. They'll have to be flexed to get them into board, but that's what you want because they also have to flex to come out. They won't ever come out unless you want them to.

Zip tie them pegs …. Curl the start of the tie and it’ll thread right through behind it, your pegs will never move when zip tied in place 👍🏻

Practically speaking, not sure why anyone bothers putting pegboard higher than is reachable just standing. As soon as a ladder, etc. is needed, you're wasting space that might be better suited to shelves that can hold crates or bins. Pegboard is best for vertical storage of tools that need quick visual access, and many sets of things like sockets are at least as easy to access in tool drawers. Heavy drills and such need more support than pegboards offer, and dedicated shelves or drawers for them are better options.

Harbor freight has great pegs. Use a ton of them. Also don't forget to buy the right size pegs. They have 1/8 and 1/4 for different size holes in different pegboard.
