Thank you!! I wanted to make even more boxes, along with some larger boxes and more specialty shaped ones, but I will make those one I move the pegboard into my shop and figure out what other items need to be stored! I'll get more wallpaper too!! :)
That turned out so well! Your instructions were clear and you show how to make things nice on a budget, which is always appreciated. Looking forward to seeing your she shed. 😊
Great job! Thanks for sharing. I found a large framed picture from thrift store that I plan to use. Removing the picture and replacing with pegboard. Hope it turns out as lovely as yours.
Good morning Serena. I just Loved this project. Those cute little boxes with the wall paper are so cute. Love it. Great tip on peg board surfaces so thanks for that. Lol. I Love peg boards. Fantastic end result. Keep shining on sunshine. Have a Blessed week. 🌞💚🥰
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this!! You've inspired me to make one of my own stenciled pegboards!!! Now, to find some removable wallpaper to make my own boxes!!! Thank you SO MUCH!!
@@ThriftDiving You did!! So I have a question! I bought the white pegboard and painted it, waited for it to dry a whole day. Then this morning I tried to stencil it and when I pulled up the stencil to move to the 2nd section, it pulled up the pink color underneath all over the place in different spots. I then just scraped the pink part with my fingernail and it came right up, like it didn't bond at all! Do you know what would cause that? I thought the white pegboard was pre-primed. Now my husband, who paints houses for a living, said that the only way to save this project is to flip it over and prime the backside and use that side... But that side isn't smooth like the front. I'm mortified at that thought. 😥 Any ideas on how to save the front side without having to go buy a whole new sheet?
interesting idea with the wall paper..I am considering the box idea using slightly charred wooden boards.. sho sugi bon style..lightly burned then sanded and sealed with a clear coat.. it would match the platform loft bed in my mancave / studio.. and then probably the custom desktop I am making for my standing desk... as for the pegboard.. I am using the ikea pegboard. which i might see if I can char, or char stencil ( where you place a non burnable flat shaped item in front of the board to resist the char, and it creates a design, like any other stencil... but that for another day)
Love it! Is there a reason why you did the nails on the front of the pegboard framing and not the back? Maybe if done through the back, the 3/4" would work and it would be less work since you wouldn't have to fill the holes, sand, and paint after nailing the framing. Just a thought since I'm not sure if there's a reason for doing it on the front as opposed to the back.
Love how it turned out. I need wall organization and wasn’t crazy about pegboard. I had wondered if there was a way to frame it. I was looking at videos on how to mount it to the wall and saw your video. Now I feel better about using pegboard.
I hope to have my tuft shed delivered by the middle of April, can't wait . concrete slab goes down this weekend if we don't get rain. Thanks for being my mentor through this process. Did you every get water added, can't find video on that. Easter blessings to you and yours.
Gurl, this is a great idea! I just got a peg board FOR FREE off FB Marketplace. Need to figure out where I’m gonna hang it though. Maybe I’ll get a SheShed??? Pray for me.
Omg. I never thought of stencilling over the paint. Brilliant idea! Now I know what to do with that buffalo plaid wall stencil I've had sitting around for a few years. :) I don't have any of those tools for the framing so I'll just have to do everything manually.
@Thrift Diving, loved the pegboard you built. I just started to build my garage, there's actually nothing in there except my mess but I want to buy the table and the power tools you used for this project. May I ask what sort of table and tools do you recommend? Thank you.
This is too funny!! One so early in commenting & 2 Ange & I are searching wall storage systems for her studio. I can't wait to show her this video!! Hoping all is well Serena, Dirty Jersey out!!
I got an electric nailer and yeah it's kind of iffy at best they go in but then they don't sometimes so I am so sold on your Naylor I am going to Jet out and get me one today
Hello. Girl you are so creative and talented. I would like a peg board to put up in my garage for my supplies. Yours turned out amazing with the frame and the wall paper. I love it!🥰
Oops, I see what you mean. I purchased the actual pegboard, sorry. You can get it from HD or Lowe's. Then added the rest myself. But Tuff Shed does sell large pegboard frames like that.
Hi. This is the first video of yours that I have watched, I like the step by step guide and being able to see exactly what you did. Your project turned out great. In order for a peg board to work, it needs to have that little bit of space behind it that the 8ft boards give it, is that correct (as in the peg board can't be applied directly to the wall)?
Get the full materials list on the blog post here! ~~> thriftdiving.com/framed-pegboard-custom-organizers/
Did you use water base paint or oil based ???
You are my SHE-ro!!! I enjoy all of your postings 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
You read my mind, I was thinking “I want a framed pegboard, how do I make one?” Then I got the notification!!
HAHAHA, man, if I had realized I was so psychic, I would been doing that as a side gig! LOL Glad I could deliver on what you needed, Denim! :)
I love this idea.
Lot of space to hold supplies. I love the boxes you made ….especially how you covered them.🤗🤗🤗🥰
Thank you!! I wanted to make even more boxes, along with some larger boxes and more specialty shaped ones, but I will make those one I move the pegboard into my shop and figure out what other items need to be stored! I'll get more wallpaper too!! :)

That’s the prettiest peg board I’ve ever seen. Never even thought about stenciling it.
Exactly!!! That’s what I said! I need mine to have some pizzazz ❤❤❤
Great job! Thanks for sharing. I found a large framed picture from thrift store that I plan to use. Removing the picture and replacing with pegboard. Hope it turns out as lovely as yours.

Excellent, I will be doing this once my home is built.
Woman, you are good. Loved it.
Shawn, I don’t need a peg board nearly this large, but I am showing you this one to give you an idea of what I want.
Omg. I never thought of stencilling over the paint. Brilliant idea!

I can't wait to see this in your she shed; I am also excited to see your new she shed!

Have fun! Get creative. You got it. :)
Turned out Beautiful. Thank you 🫶🏽

I'm sorry I try to behave here, but that giggle is to die for.

Love all the organization & your design choices. Good job and can't wait to see your "she shack" !
This is wonderful, what a great job, and great use. Thank you for sharing this. Blessing!!
Family Matters 🤓🧑🏾🏫....I saw that on your tablet 👀.... I grew up watching that on TGIF👏👏👏

Haha, I read your mind, Mike. Yes, this is perfect for her space!
I got an electric nailer and yeah it's kind of iffy at best they go in but then they don't sometimes so I am so sold on your Naylor I am going to Jet out and get me one today
This looks amazing! Can I use a staple gun, hot glue gun, or epoxy to put together the little boxes instead of an air nailer?
You defintely can use any of those tools and materials to keep the boxes together! :)
Very inspiring! Where is your watch from?
I love this!
Ficou lindo, Serena. Amei seu projeto. O estêncil fez toda diferença. Obrigada por compartilhar! 😘❤️

This girl needs her own HGTV show already...
Where did you buy stencil ? It’s not on list
Oh darn, sorry for not including that! You can find it here with my affiliate link:

so cute & cost effective for how much storage you get! great work (:
Where did you get the large floral stencil?
Just a question, why not use the 3/4 inch size from the back to secure edging?
Mine is super full of stuff, but I love it! :D
I love pegboard but It's so difficult to find pegboard in Indonesia. N when i found one, it was sooooo expensive.
Love it 😍
Where did you purchase the large flower stencil?
I think you're looking for this floral stencil, which is my favorite: bit.ly/my-favorite-stencil (affiliate link)
Love your channel\
Did you use a water base to paint the peg board or oil base ?????
This paint is water based.
grreat video
Awesome
Thanks, Michelle!
I want to do this in the garage but I want the whole wall to be like this...
Hello
Serena how is your sister doing?
