Hi Kris. I love watching you put these together. I'm going to do "Tree of Life" and have everything for Clue One. I am loving your scrappy version so much. I can't wait to see how it will look next month! Take Care! ~~ Lynne
Hi Lynne! I thought about doing the Tree of Life series, but it decided not to take it on. Which colorway are you doing? I can't wait to see them come together, too!
I've only ever made quilts with 6 inch squares and tying them at the end ( btw my children loved them) but I have sewn for a long time so I have decided to make a real quilt. I purchased a quilt kit. The picture is beautiful. I will have it quilted when I'm finished. Omg it's hard. So many pieces. But I'm persevering.
It is hard, isn't it? I agree. I am happy you are pushing through! I hope these tutorials help some. The pieces can get very confusing! Thank you so much for watching and for sharing! I am sure it will be beautiful once it all comes together. 🥰
We're getting close! I can't wait to see how it all comes together! I know you're not doing the next one, Tree Of Life, but I've received my first clue already.
I'm thinking their colour scheme makes the blocks look a bit more baffling. The colours blend into one another more. Your scrappy version makes the blocks look clearer.... but then it is still intriguing how the final quilt will look.
Thank you! ❤️ If I could show the pattern, it would probably be better, but yes, it is so tricky (in my opinion) to follow. I am glad I did it and Cotton Cuts is a wonderful company, but these just are not for me. That said, I am excited to see how these come together, but I won't be sad to see it end, if I am being honest. 🤗
Do you know the measurements of fabrics to buy for the finishing kit? I just an email for purchasing the borders , backing, and binding and I don’t want to but any more than I need. I thought maybe as an ambassador you would know. Thanks for your help.
Oh, I wish I could help! I don't know either. I wish I did. I was sent an "oops" kit but not the finishing kit, unfortunately, and I still haven't received the final clue to even know how much we need. I really wish I could help.
Love seeing it come together, thanks!
My pleasure! Glad you enjoy it!
I can’t wait to see the finished product!❤
Me neither! It is driving me nuts. 😀 Ambassadors get the clues early, but my last one still hasn't shown up. I can't wait!
I really like your color ways!
Thank you! It is a bit out of my comfort zone, but I am trusting the process! ❤️
Great tutorial Kris❤
Loving your scrappy blocks!
Thanks, Fallon! 🥰

♥️♥️♥️
Thank you!
This has seemed like a rather tedious process, thanks for sharing💕
It absolutely is tedious. Cotton Cuts is a great company, but I won't be doing this again. It isn't my cup of tea.
My pleasure! 🥰
love the colors of both blocks! thanks for sharing. I'm working on a patriotic quilt right now, it is really nice, thank God.
Ohhhh, I almost did that one! So glad you like it!
You are so welcome! I hope it was helpful. ❤️

Wow! Already? That's awesome! What colorway are you doing? That's so exciting!
I can't wait to see how this comes together.
@@SewtheDistance I'm doing "Woodland" for the Tree of Life.
Love that one! It will be amazing!
😍
🥰
I am a bit behind. Must take part if a day and get caught up😊
I can see how that could happen. If I didn't have an obligation to make the videos, I would be behind, too, I am sure.
