    Hi , thanks for the video, I am quite new to photography, is it possible to mount the lens on an EOS M50 MARK II camera?

      Hi! The M50 is a mirrorless camera and the lens was made for DSLR cameras. If you want to mount it on the M50, you will need the EF to EOS M adapter. I made a video about it. You`ll find it if you search: " 5 Things About The Canon Mount Adapter EF-EOS M " . Cheers!

    I have the Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II lens. I use it on my Canon M6 mark II camera with a Viltrox EF-M speedbooster to f/1.4. Makes some real good Bokeh pix.

      Nice! The older Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II, that was released in 1990, is also enjoyable and delivers good results. With the speed booster, the bokeh should be great. Funny thing: I recently purchased a Canon M6 mark II. Great camera!

    Agreed. I've bought three of them. The other two I gifted to friends.

      Great! Those are some nice gifts! I have two of them. Will test the image quality of different cameras in the near future and the same-exact lens is need. It is a great lens that gives us confidence with any camera (good or not).

    Is that lens for taking pictures in small home studio of babies?

    • @apertureatlas
      @apertureatlas  6 месяцев назад +1

      Yes, it is. You will be able to get a lot of shots, but, for portraits, it is recommended to also have a wide angle lens, like the 35mm for wide shots. If the room in which you are taking photos is too small, you won't have too much flexibility. This is why also a wide angle lens is needed.

    Does it go well with M100 without any adapter?

    • @apertureatlas
      @apertureatlas  Год назад

      In order to work on the M100, It needs the adapter. Unfortunately, it doesn't even fit on EOS M cameras without it. The M Mount is for EF-M Lenses. This 50mm is a EF lens, as specified in its full name. Hope my explanation helps.
