      I've never seen this Canadian livery before. What's the story there?

    • @NBAFan18
      @NBAFan18 Месяц назад

      @@adrianleusink1970so basically every year the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) creates a new livery for their CF18 Demonstration team.
      This year, it is the 100th anniversary for the Royal Canadian Air Force, so they came up with that design.
      For example, on the left stabilizer they have all sorts of aircraft. This represents each roles of air power in the RCAF
      Fighter force: CF18
      Maritime aviation: CH148 cyclone helicopter
      Search and rescue: CC130 Hercules
      Tactical airlift: CC177 (C17 globe master)
      Community outreach: CT114 tutor(snowbirds)
      RCAF personnel are represented with three silhouettes on the Demo Hornet’s starboard (right) vertical stabilizer, depicting a non-commissioned member, an officer and a pilot.
      basically just represents the history and heritage over the past 100 years of the RCAF.
      Also this year for the first time the jet features a full livery which covers the underbelly where you can see a maple leaf with the RCAF 100 logo.
      Hope this helps!
      Happy 100th RCAF anniversary 🎉😂

    A little clarification is always needed when talking about the CF-18. Mainly because some folks repeat incomplete misinformation. Firstly, America has some old jets as well. Noting new in this. Secondly Canadian CF-188's, the official title, have been updated over the years. They are not the early 1980's model! The most recent update has very sophisticated radar on a number of these aircraft. And yes, the F-35a is coming to the RCAF. With all of this a period of time will exist where Canada will be operating both the CF-188's and F-35a. This should be an exciting time for the RCAF.

      We would already have the f35 in service if people did not vote that leftist traitor named trudeau in.
