really hand me a line hand me a line
really hand it to me i've always loved you
love dumpling
your shit's like chocolate cake
and your ass smells like a rose
i really hate you
love dumpling
now my bowels ache
drop down in a line
really hand me a line, really hand me a line
hand me a line, really hand it to me
This is my favorite song from Wayne Satix... tomorrow I turn 63, so happy I found this video. RIP Wayne
happy bday
Happy belated birthday!
I just turned 87, I love this song
his name was Wayne Static
One of my favorite songs for sure
Proof you don't need to know the entire chord library or scales to make amazing music. I believe Wayne himself said he knew he wasn't a good guitarist but he could make cool sounding shit.
Wayne was more interested in creating simple, catchy riffs that would dig into the brain and burrow deep. I heard somewhere that he said that he wanted the sound of the band to have more emphasis on heavy beats and chunky riffs, with minimal flaunting in the songs in ways of solos and the like. The whole emphasis was simplicity with that electronic flair amplifying the music, birthing the Evil Disco sub-sub-genre that only Static has done. I'm glad that nobody has tried to copy the sound because it would almost be insulting to do so. Wayne created something beautiful in the world of Nu Metal, and it will stay with those guys forever.
Who doesn't love a good chunky riff. I do. I remember being dragged along by a mate to a gig a few years ago by one of the "best guitarists on the planet"... After the initial ten minutes of saying "wow this guy is amazing", it followed an hour of utter boredom while he twiddled his way up and down the fret board. I couldn't even go to the bar as it was closed 😊 Would prefer to listen to this all day long

I feel the same way. I just started learning to sing/play, but hearing my songs get stuck in peoples head is the best! 2019 Dislaimer: In no way am I comparing myself or my music to that of the legendary Static-X. I can only hope to end up making cool sounding shit that a few people might enjoy listening to.
Complexik especially when there’s another guitarist in the band LOL
I got to meet Wayne at Ozzfest back around 2000 in Dallas. He was was much nicer than I initially expected him to be. Such a great band. RIP Wayne
Same! I met him at OzzFest 2000 in Mansfield MA...he was on a Segway and it was the very 1st time I EVER saw one! It felt like I was in a futuristic sci-fi movie 😂...he was really sweet and soft spoken Rest In Paradise Wayne Static. Legends Never Die. 💫💖💫

0:31 Metal Super Saiyan!
The early 2000s produced so many amazing bands.
MISS OLD GOOD DAYS
Static X formed in 1994.
If only we can re-live the good ol 90’s
Got to spend alot of time w/these guys, realist guys I've ever known, seen em, and hung out over 40times, still friends w/them
@@douglaslang5824 ya they did but they didnt hit the it big till the 2000s
Rest in power, Wayne Static
Thomas Boyce
Hey, I LIKE that change of "peace." That should totally be what RIP stands for! At least for awesome industrial metal legends, anyway.
+Thomas Boyce Fans will keep Wayne alive \.../
+Synathidy lol totally true
It took me three years to find out he died. Very first concert with godsmack.
I will always miss this era of music, I consider myself lucky to have seen 2 Static-X shows in my time. RIP Wayne.
Man i think this is the best video of Static X, turbo energy...
I can listen to this song on repeat for hours. It’s so overall amazing and special with the performance.
This is my favorite one to listen to by far.
"I can't believe I'm letting you do this to me"-sample in the beginning is from the movie Nadja (1994)
I've searching for this sample ever since I first heard the song (about 5 years). Thank you very much 😁
Made more famous due to credit in the ost of valentine and also a completely inspired(ripped off version) was used by a wrestling tag team called kronik in wcw
Cheers mate!, Always wondered where it was from!
@@SunnyBeeRandomTuber No fucking way...That was Kronik????
Thanks! I always thought it sounded like Winona Ryder though.
I joined the party late. Never listened to these guys before. I wished I’d discovered them years ago.
Have you heard Wayne's solo album Pighammer? It has a feel closer to their Wisconsin Death Trip and Machine albums if you like the heavier sound.
I was a fan through my middle and high school days. Talk about being in the zone for wrestling tournaments.... RiP Wayne Static
NFS MOST WANTED got me hooked on Static x
Same here, love it
vocal pipe on this guy, so freaking unique
this is the best performance live of this song i have ever heard. just wow. i miss wayne
I fucking love this man, there will never be another like him
gotta love wayne atleast for the dact he sounds like the recording
I can't believe it's 2023 and all the shit we've been through!! Thank God Static X existed for us to escape this insane reality 🤯
One of the best bands and vocalists ever
I got married at 23 so I completely understand the entirety of this song 😅
Being so into someone that you can't express it, eventually falling into vulgarity and frustration.
Ahhh to be young and vibrant again 🥰
I just discovered his music about a year ago, I think its bad ass, when I found out he was dead I was saddened to hear it because I wanted to see him live, he strikes me as a guy I would love to have a beer with, and by the way I am 50 years old and there are more of us out there, old timers rockin to Wayne!!!!
+Charles Grover Haha fuck yeah! \m/ \m/
45 here lol
Big 40 this year. Love this band
58!
I turn 60 in a few months. Big fan of the late Wayne Static.
man the vocalist passed? that sucks man and I barely discovered them. this song blew me away.
What a sick ass performance!
I never knew it was Tony speaking at the start of the song, he’s got a great metal voice too
He is a vocalist for another band
he is a deathmetal vocalist
This band truly was/is one of a kind. No one had a sound like theirs.
Wayne is truly missed.
static sounds the SICK live not many metal bands can sound this good live
Mr . Static forever you are known . Let your spirit go again .
Loved static growing up. This is the first time I've seen them live, and man; they are great live performers.
I Miss him so much, Wayne Static and his rock will live forever.... why do the good ones die young. . I love his music, he is my one and only band that I can say I truly love...
He actually wasn't that young! He died at 48, although that isn't that old. He just looked really young! Must have been because he was vegetarian lol
RIP Wayne!
He sounds exactly like in the studio
he has real talent
I can’t stop watching this. The energy it gives off is like crack! Can’t stop!!!!
Same been here 2 days straight and can't stop
Rest in peace wayne static...from phillippines...your composition still alive at my room collection...
I'm having one of those nights where the joy of music eludes me.. but then I just start listening to static X and oh there it is
One of the best live shows. First heard this music in early 90’s. Seen them a few times. Draven the drummer was so kewl. I should’ve let him hug me. Too much for me at the time I guess. .
I was fortunate enough to see them in Tampa , Fl ( Wisconsin Death Trip album ) along with Dope. RIP Wayne. Godfather of Evil Disco!
I was there also. Mike from Lakeland. Dope was good also
Janis Landing venue 🤘🤘 hell yes amigo. This was long time ago. Killer show. Dope was awesome aswell. Seen them few times with American Headcharge and Powermam 5000.
Wayne You The Best Forever!!!

Ridiculously underrated band. Ridiculously good.
A good band sounds good in a studio. An EPIC band is even better live. This is an EPIC band.

Pioneer of what?
R.I.P. Wayne. Thanks for the musical gifts you shared with us, and the aftershow parties in Albuquerque. The scene will never be the same. R.I.P.
I bled for days and h3r still
The energy, the punch, the drive, this track
Fortunate to see them back in the day open for Pantera. I have seen a lot of bands, could more easily name who I havent seen. Never felt my chest cave in to a thundering wall of sound quite as hard as they went. Missed.
Such a huge loss to all rock and roll.R.I.P. Wayne, thanks for all the music. Unbelievable in concert, so glad I saw them a bunch of times live.
Good song brings back memories when concerts we're fun to go to
Watching him live was incredible. He sounded so professional and still had a wonderful time on stage it seemed. He had this energy that was so infectious. You just wanted to lose yourself in the overall Build up of each song if you are a fan! Miss you Brother!
Sounds amazing live. I saw them many times. One band that sounded better live than on recordings. They always put on a great show.
Great song….. idk what else to say….. jus awesome. Love ya Wayne…🤘🤘🤘🤘
Makes me so fucking sad knowing that ur gone, rest in peace Wayne Static. Your gone but your music will always live!
Erick Hernandez GET TO THE GONE, Wayne
Damn I miss seeing Static live💜
I was at this show almost died gettin crushed by a big dude! but I am flying through here somewhere!! I have been to 3 of their shows and I have seen so many bands live and they have always been best shows hands down
Amazing performance (in my back yard no less). Been to the Knitting Factory in Spokane a ton!
Here's a sad anecdote... Years back my wife and I were on a road trip - Static-X happened to be blasting. She mentions she would love to see them in concert. I've been a fan since day 1 (seen them live multiple times) and told her how amazing their shows were and that I was pretty sure they were still on hiatus. Mentioned that last I heard Wayne was doing some solo work and look up if he was touring anywhere close.... She goggled it and found out he had just died. Like literally in the last 24 hours. Creepy and surreal.
Same happened to me. He was supposed to do a show at luquid 8 in Green Bay. I am glad I saw them at ozzfest though. I will always remember getting done checking out kittie on the second stage and going to the main stage and the wall of sound hit me like a ton of a bricks that was Wisconsin death trip. Good times
Edsel (front man for DOPE) who toured with Wayne and Static X for years is filling in as "Zero" and pays GREAT TRIBUTE to Wayne. I just saw them last Friday 11/6/19 and it was AWESOME !!!! I recommend anyone that loves Static X to go see them. It's definitely worth it !!!
makes my ears happy
RIP wayne I was 11 when i first heard static and Still love their music at 34
Def a Evil Disco Genius. Saw them twice, once opening for Soulfly, Slayer and Pantera. Both shows were amazing.
Спустя столько лет?
Всегда.
Such a talented guy (band) with an unique style. A true loss! R.I.P. Wayne!
Love and miss you Wayne... The fact this is live and sounds even better than the album version is a testament to how amazing Wayne ans the fellas were. RIP Wayne
I watched Dope and Static X open for two shit headliners we cared nothing about at Harpo's in Detroit in 1999. They were so good.
After seeing "RIP Wayne" comments my heart sank.. I did not know he passed away! THIS CANT BE TRUE!
JON H Î have to dislike this comment! Fuck he is dead :(((((
Its still sad
Absolutely one of the best videos from Static-X !
One of my favorite songs of all time ; we miss you dreadfully Wayne.

So love this song!!! Wayne you will be always missed by your fans. Love you and hope to see you later
His passing created, a void in the metal industry that will never be filled again
RIP WAYNE. Those first albums move me in ways!!
Thanks
Wayne Static oh
This is such fucking bullshit and disrespectful to Wayne Static X
this has gotta be Wayne at his most muscular. 💪 looking real healthy here. we miss you Wayne 💔
Yeah, his passing really got to me.
@@killerseddie8295 same. i periodically go through youtube binges just watching videos of him. can't tell if it is helpful or if it is resurrecting the sadness all over again
@@ellamennop I tend to go happy then sad. Life is indeed cruel at times. But, at least we had him for a while.
@@killerseddie8295 agree.
I thought he looked muscled too

I saw them 5 or 6 times.there was so much good music that came out at that time.
I cant even begin to state the importance of this band and the energy they gave us. RIP Wayne you so dearly missed.
I love that guitar Wayne has.
It was back then and still is their greatest song.
I love this. My older brother could have passed for Wayne's stunt double 20 years ago, good jams!
It’s 2022 I was scrolling through RUclips shorts and a tribute to Wayne static video came up. Immediately I searched up this song right after the video. This the first time seeing this live version. Love the energy of the entire band but Wayne’s was on the upper echelon he was amazing such a badass.
so fucking awesome. glad i saw their live performance. best concert in my holy fucking life :)
Miroslav Szpyrc you're no holy man
Those words don’t even belong together or to anyone

Can remember when static-x started out seen them at ozzfest 1999 at the gorge amphitheatre in George Washington State it was awesomeness 😎
Когда первый раз услышал, полюбил эта группу и песни. Гитара, ударники, бас т голос соответствует состоянию нирваны.😇
Edsel will Rock 4 Wayne! Still keep doing that dope writing. Your doing great Edsel, much appreciated. Tony Campos is a fenominal bass player
