Thank you so much for watching AND for the paint color recommendations! This is the color: Benjamin Moore Palladian Blue HC-144 We hope that you have a great weekend and continue to be so humbled by your support and love -- thank YOU!!!! - Dawn & Tom
Great suggestion Sarah - the bathroom has a very modern, airy vibe and the light fixture kind of weighs it down and dates the room a tad. But overall the transformation is fantastic! 👏👏👏
For the past month I have been watching your videos every day, and spending every free moment purging my life of unnecessary clutter. I have donated 4 van loads of stuff…and it was all my stuff. My husband is not onboard!!! I’m not done yet, but I want to report that my mind is so much clearer because I’m not ruminating about my messes, and it has given me the mental freedom to be creative again. I’m back into sewing, playing my instruments, and painting, and last night I sat calmly in the living room and had a deep spiritual conversation with my husband for over an hour with no anxious feelings of needing to get up an accomplish something. Even though there is still clutter in our home it is not my clutter, so I don’t have to think about it. Thank you so much for encouraging me! You have become my friend. I look forward to hearing from you every day. Some videos I’ve watched over and over. I could say so much more, but this is getting long enough. Just wanted you to know that you have helped me change directions and I am so blessed!!! Thank you!
I was just about to comment the same thing!! That cracked me up bc it’s so true 😂😂 I wipe down the bathroom my kids use very regularly and I don’t feel like the pee smell ever truly goes away 🥴😂
When our twin boys were babes, a senior mentor/friend told us she trained her boys to always SIT on the toilet and aim penis down. (Standing only in public restrooms😉) Further, once they were older and had friends over, they were responsible to teach/inform their friends to do the same--or clean up after them! It worked for us, too! (And avoids the toilet seat up/down issue.)
Oh my gosh, you really did it! I love the white trim too. I'm an architect and I used this color in my own house - and recommend it to clients all the time, especially for bathrooms. It feels so fresh - and lots of debating whether it is actually blue or green every time I use it...but I see blue, and in keeping with "sea glass" colors. Great job! I ended up starting in the bathroom, but it ended up almost everywhere! IT's very forgiving.
"Two days ago". 🤣🤣🤣 I love that little recurring joke. I needed the laugh too. Thank you, Tom and Dawn. And I love the finished bathroom! Looks very good.
Looks great. One thing I would do down the line is to change the switch plates to white. The plugs too. We had to do that and it’s really makes a difference !
Your bathroom turned out just beautiful! Love the paint color! I have a suggestion for you, instead of using contact paper under cabinets or in drawers purchase a remnant piece of vinyl flooring ( tile, wood or any pattern you like) and cut to size. It’s so much easier to keep clean. We’ve used this in rentals for years and in our own home.
It looks so nice and fresh! I loved it before, but agree that this matches your current home style better. The drawer organization is really nice. It's lovely that you and Tom get to spend so much time together. 🥰
"Dawn keeps throwing them on the front lawn" LOL!!! I am dying!! I am so happy you both are getting upgrades around your house. A much deserved reward for all the work you do helping others!!
WOW! I stand corrected on my paint suggestion. The blue looks beautiful! I’m sure it looks even better in person. Who ever thought that the RUclips community could help us design our house?! 😆 Thanks for inviting us into your journey, Dawn. It really motivates me to find the next space in my home that I want to address- and also gives me some fresh ideas on decor. 👏😊
Really looks great and so modern. For Tom’s storage probs: remove the dresser in front of the toilet and get a floor to ceiling unit that is on the other wall so the new storage is directly opposite the toilet seat
I too thought to put that tall one there instead of the short one because it would def fit better but then thought they had to have already thought of that and chose not to for a good reason. Not necessarily for his clothes tho. For linens, etc. Maybe he could use that short one in their rm or something.
🇨🇦Your bathroom reno is GREAT! Very relaxing and clean. Suggestion: change your light fixture to white/clear, maybe paint the doors. Yup fresh flowers would be lovely. 🙂
I love how you have demonstrated for us that it is possible to do a nice renovation in a very minimalistic way on a minimal budget. The bathroom turned out beautiful. Very simple, it didn't cost $10,000, and it is beautiful.
That bathroom looks FANTASTIC! IF i may say something... you've gotten so far now, so just put the drawer and door pulls on! And um...the upper right drawer needs touch up paint on the little areas where the finish chipped off. 🤭 THEN IT'S 100% FINITO! And now, after seeing your bathroom looking so beautiful, I've decided it is high time to do mine as well!
What a transformation!! One suggestion along w changing out glass shades, when you get a chance you might want to update the valence to something a little more tailored or a Roman shade. Having a little more fabric will warm up the space. I LOVE THE VANITY & COUNTERTOP!! And the vase of flowers is just a stunning touch!! You should be very proud of the fantastic job you both did!
You guys always knock it out of the park!! I have never seen a couple work so well together on projects. You really do compliment each other!! I love the white vanity! Will you change out the cups on the light? I think clear cups would look great as the current ones look somewhat yellow. I love the trim around the doors. Thank you again for sharing your projects!! You inspire!!
Your bathroom looks amazing! The new trim, the color, love the vanity! One thing I’ve seen people do that may be amazing would be to replace the glass on your light fixture with clear glass/shape of your choice. My understanding is that they are like $4 each and updates your fixture without the cost of a new one. Just an idea! I’m so grateful for you and all you share with us!
I love the make over. I’m in the northeast so planning to try to clean out some stuff from my basement while the nor’easter blows through. Been on a mission. Already donated 5 bags of clothing, 3 boxes of household and holiday items to the thrift store. old towels, blankets and pillows to the animal shelter.
Having grown up in a mid-century house, and having helped my parents repaint and redecorate every room in it, I can say that that darker turquoise color was very popular in the 50s and 60s! But if you're going for a more updated look, and to open up the space, then yes, I can see changing it to a lighter color! I would first get a lighter-colored, updated shower curtain and see how you like the wall color. Also you may just have to break down and keep your clothes in your bedroom like everyone else does! Minimal does not have to mean impractical. Love your videos, keep 'em comin'!
It's so interesting how it looks green in certain shots and in others it looks completely blue. I like the blue as it blends with the rest of your house. The bright color in the other bathroom doesn't go with the vibe of your home and will look great in the new blue. I think it will feel more serene, which seems to be what you're going for - clean, simple and peaceful. Love the flowers and love you guys. 💙
I see others noticed the one thing I did - I would switch the globes on the light fixture to the same globe, but white. Beautiful work you have done on this bath!
That bathroom is beautiful!!! It’s always so fun to get a project done I’m with you Dawn I could just sit in there all day it’s so pretty and I love the vanity
My kitchen is the next darker on the paint sample: Wythe Blue. It’s beautiful and definitely changes depending on the light. Looks great with many different colors too, especially white and black/charcoal grey.
I bought that exact target bin and cutting board from the dollar tree for my straightener and hair dryer 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 it is THE BEST way I have found to store my things and it’s GOLD 🙌🏻 no more cords all over the bathroom 🙌🏻 It’s the best storage ever I agree.
Wow, the paint color does look REALLY good! You guys make me want to renovate our bathrooms! Thank you for all the tips and suggestions! You guys are so good together, I think Tom is adorable and just so happy go lucky. Thanks guys!
Palladian Blue is one of my favorite paint colors. I painted my dining room and kitchen Palladian Blue several years ago. It doesn't ever look gray in my house, more like a lovely sophisticated blue-green.
I love my husband with all my heart but I never ask him about colors anymore. We did eye color test together and he can't tell subtle differences in colors. After he started letting me decide he ended up always happy with my choice. Plus there were no more arguments about how there were differences in colors. I think some men can't tell until they see it completed. The bathroom turned out great. Very relaxing. I know you are going to enjoy it!
You know you have a winner when you want to adorn it every day with fresh flowers - the operative word is FRESH and that is exactly the feeling you have achieved in this beautifully updated bathroom - loved seeing it! Thank you!
What a beautiful transformation! For me it encompasses everything I need in a bathroom - a clutter-free place to refresh, where everything is easily accessible and in its place. It’s amazing what a more monochromatic and calming colour palette can do for the mind, it can help you to focus and think more clearly on the tasks at hand. Sometimes mornings can be hard, so much to think about with a half-awake brain and visual distractions can sometimes add to that. Good job, minimal mom and minimal dad!
Palladian Blue is my FAVORITE color ever! I designed my white kitchen reno on it and am still in love! Have Cambria Praa Sands quartz countertops for the island that look amazing with white cabinets and complimented absolute black granite honed finish countertops on the perimeter. Palladian blue pulls it all together!
OMG that’s the paint color we have in our bedroom. I love it! That color never goes out of style. Haha Tom using the kitchen knife to stir the grout. Wow, beautiful finished bathroom.
What I’m up to this weekend. Friday night we went out on the highway and cheered the Freedom Convoy on as they travelled to Ottawa and today I watched all the footage I could find of the Freedom Rally in Ottawa on Parliament Hill!!! Go Truckers! Lindsay in Ontario 🇨🇦
When I first saw this bathroom, I couldn't believe you were going to change it. I love wood. Now, I have to say I was totally wrong!! I love it now more than the wood cabinet.❤❤❤❤
It looks so fresh and pretty. I think the artwork is nice but I would paint the frames black. I also agree with another comment that mentioned changing the light fixture shades.
Bathroom looks so good! My mum moved into a nursing home a couple of months ago, so we are going through her belongings. Your content has been so helpful in thinking through what I keep.
That a lovely refresh. The pale blue and white accents gives everything a clean look. Personally, if the vanity unit was still serviceable, I would have just painted it.
This looks AMAZING!!!!! Yes, paint the other bathroom the same. The color is much softer than what you have. Paint just transforms and freshens up everything! Good job you guys!
What a transformation, wonderful job. I love the crisp white cabinetry with the white trim work and the paint colour on the wall. I would take it a step further and paint out the door in the trim colour….I know some wouldn’t dare painted that beautiful wood door but I love the crispness of white in a bathroom. I feel it”ll look fresher and cleaner looking. Also, I think the IKEA dresser and it’s size competes with the beautiful white cabinet vanity. I think something smaller and a floor plant would be awesome.
I love the new look. It is so light and airy. I would paint the picture frames white. And, I think clear globes would look better on the light fixture.
Yay! You trusted us and went for it!!! That's fun being a part of it! Thank you for sharing your home with us, it's lovely, ya'll are lovely, and the bathroom looks beautiful 😍!
I am so grateful for your channel. 6 months ago, I started decluttering- found your channel, and got rid of an extreem amount of stuf. I went from spending many, many hours every week trying to make our apartment stay tidy. Now I spend 10 minutes a day... We are moving now, and it is stress free! I know I only have a few excess items, so it is totally ok. (I do not know what they are, but there is always something.) Before this we had to rent the movie truck for many more hours. Now we are planning on two trips. You have learned me so much, and inspired me so. Thanks from Norway. :)
Great job. So fun to see you working together! My SIL and BIL embraced this quote for their 40th anniversary this year: "together they built a life they loved." Looks like you guys are living that out too. Feel blessed!
I like the blue as well. I work at a Benjamin Moore store. We also sell tile and flooring, so I really enjoy these renos. I also paint part-time. There is a grout called Powergrout by Tec that you never need to seal, if you ever need larger quantities. It is a powder so you will need to mix it. I'm in Canada but it looks like you can get it at Minnesota Time and Stone. Keep up the good work and thank you for posting so many helpful , thoughtful videos. I've learned so much since following you .
The look is beautiful and cohesive! The backsplash compliments the countertop amazingly. Ever considered adding a diy trim on the front of the white freestanding drawer unit you have to match the vanity storage unit and door trim/casing look?
Thank you so much for watching AND for the paint color recommendations! This is the color: Benjamin Moore Palladian Blue HC-144 We hope that you have a great weekend and continue to be so humbled by your support and love -- thank YOU!!!! - Dawn & Tom
I love it! I painted my living room Palladian Blue 8 years ago and I still love it! Looks very pretty in your bathroom.
Hope you have a great weekend too. God bless you guys!
Katrina here, great team work GO TEAM ,love it.
Ha ha Tom ,Dawn puts my clothes on the lawn .🤣🤣
I knew that color was going to work, it's so similar to "Eternity" also by Benjamin Moore 💙💙💙💙 Great job you two 👏
Love the color!
Beautiful! I love it. The only thing I suggest is switching out the light fixture shades with frosted white or clear. Excellent work!
I noticed the same thing. The trim and cabinet are nice and clean and bright looking but the light shades look kind of dull.
Great suggestion Sarah - the bathroom has a very modern, airy vibe and the light fixture kind of weighs it down and dates the room a tad. But overall the transformation is fantastic! 👏👏👏
And the light switch cover!
Yep, just changing the shades would be super! You might even be able to use a paint on glaze to whiten them!
Agreed!

“The boys haven’t peed on it yet”.😂😂😂 And THAT is the true reality of raising boys. 🤪
The bathroom looks great!
I was just about to comment the same thing!! That cracked me up bc it’s so true 😂😂 I wipe down the bathroom my kids use very regularly and I don’t feel like the pee smell ever truly goes away 🥴😂

I live with my three boys and my husband (in 1 bathroom) so Toms comment about the floor/toilet made me laugh out loud!!! Lol 😂
Love the blue!
Looks great. One thing I would do down the line is to change the switch plates to white. The plugs too. We had to do that and it’s really makes a difference !

I do this with peel and stick vinyl tiles. Great for might get wet areas.
Same! It lasts forever and is so easy to clean!
It looks so nice and fresh! I loved it before, but agree that this matches your current home style better.
The drawer organization is really nice.
It's lovely that you and Tom get to spend so much time together. 🥰

Yes! An updated house tour would be awesome! This bathroom is beautiful 🤩
this bathroom gives me peaceful vibes. love this transformation! the flowers are a nice touch!
This makes me realize I need to clear out the 'stuff' under my master bathroom sinks and get a couple of baskets similar to what Dawn is using.
Really looks great and so modern. For Tom’s storage probs: remove the dresser in front of the toilet and get a floor to ceiling unit that is on the other wall so the new storage is directly opposite the toilet seat

🇨🇦Your bathroom reno is GREAT! Very relaxing and clean. Suggestion: change your light fixture to white/clear, maybe paint the doors. Yup fresh flowers would be lovely. 🙂
Yes, I think the vanity light needs an update to go with the rest of the room!
@@kalanlynn2067 agree!!!
Blinds instead of the frilly valence would the finishing touch!
It looks phenomenal. I think lightening the doors would make it all come together a step further. But it's super relaxing; y'all did a wonderful job 👏

I liked the green paint color but I prefer the blue! You have a wonderful bathroom! Great work, guys!💕
Your bathroom looks amazing! I love the “casing” & trim. The blue & white looks so clean & fresh.
I love the finished room. Beautiful! I love when paint color varies as the light changes though the day.
It looks lovely. I love the colour. The white also adds brightness and seems to highlight the Palladian blue. Well done!
I love the make over. I’m in the northeast so planning to try to clean out some stuff from my basement while the nor’easter blows through. Been on a mission. I love the blue!!
Painting the trim and the new vanity look great.
The bathroom looks awesome! I love the new paint color too.
LOVE the blue!! Pops against the white and black. Classy and trendy. It will age well and you won’t regret the color in 6 months.
I love the wall color. Everything you’ve done has created such a nice upscale difference.
I see others noticed the one thing I did - I would switch the globes on the light fixture to the same globe, but white. Beautiful work you have done on this bath!
Great job Tom and Dawn, your bathroom looks so amazing. I'm looking forward to the updated house tour.
The bathoom looks elegant with this color. Great job, Dawn and Tom!
I have Wythe Blue, too! We live on the water, and it's a perfect sea glass blue green.
Great Job…LOVE IT. Changing the glass in the vanity lighting might be good or wash them. They look very yellow.

GORGEOUS!!! I would just suggest putting white plates on light switch and outlets ❤️
My first reaction was …… OOOOOOOH WOOOOOW! It looks like a different house! 😁 it’s just gorgeous!!! Awesome 👏 job guy’s!!
I love the chemistry between you and Tom. And the bathroom is beautiful. 😍🤗
Palladian Blue is one of my favorite paint colors. I painted my dining room and kitchen Palladian Blue several years ago. It doesn't ever look gray in my house, more like a lovely sophisticated blue-green.
Loved it!!! Just don't forget to touch up the paint on the first drawer to the right ;)
Fresh, clean, quiet. And, so pretty. Love it.
I love my husband with all my heart but I never ask him about colors anymore. We did eye color test together and he can't tell subtle differences in colors. After he started letting me decide he ended up always happy with my choice. Plus there were no more arguments about how there were differences in colors. You know you have a winner when you want to adorn it every day with fresh flowers - the operative word is FRESH and that is exactly the feeling you have achieved in this beautifully updated bathroom - loved seeing it! Thank you!

Loved Toms tool of choice to mix the grout 😂 Butter knives really do come in handy!
The bathroom looks beautiful. I love the color.
So beautiful! I love the color! It is similar to our Sherwin Williams "Rainwashed" we painted our livingroom :)
OMG that’s the paint color we have in our bedroom. I love it! That color never goes out of style. Haha Tom using the kitchen knife to stir the grout. Wow, beautiful finished bathroom.
Love the wall color Dawn, and great job Tom . Love to see your updated full house tour. Love everything you guys have done to your house.
What a difference! It's lovely. You make these changes look so easy. It isn't. Great job.
You look awesome in green. Wear it more often. Good job redoing bathroom. You both make the job look so easy.
Your bathroom turned out absolutely lovely! Good choice of paint color, and the white trim and accessories make it look so clean! Great job!
What I’m up to this weekend. Friday night we went out on the highway and cheered the Freedom Convoy on as they travelled to Ottawa and today I watched all the footage I could find of the Freedom Rally in Ottawa on Parliament Hill!!!

I think it’s beautiful. Very calming color 😊
Minimalism and home improvement. ♥️love
This looks AMAZING!!!!! Yes, paint the other bathroom the same. The color is much softer than what you have. Paint just transforms and freshens up everything! Good job you guys!
I love the new casing and base ! Also white paint on the original wood trim looks beautiful.
The white and new paint color really brighten and freshens the area up...awesome job!
Tom and Dawn, looks great! Color is just perfect. Trim looks awesome!! Great job.
I love the new look. It is so light and airy.
I would paint the picture frames white. And, I think clear globes would look better on the light fixture.
Looks fresh and clean and now the whole house is truly yours with your design stamp all over it. Well done both of you!
Yet another Dawn and Tom project that turned out amazing!!!
Oh yes! Love the blue. Didn't care for mint green in bathroom! Oh love the grout, especially with the counter. Gorgeous!
Love the Bathroom, but I think you need white globes on the light fixture. Overall good job!!
Maybe a new more modern light fixture and different window curtain would take it even a step further. Looks great!
I keep my hair tools in the same Target bin! Good call creating a divider. I’ll have to look into that!
That bathroom is outstanding. Love the color the vanity everything. Just beautiful.
It looks so good! I think changing out the globes on the light fixture would be a good idea. Love it!
Yay! You trusted us and went for it!!! That's fun being a part of it! Thank you for sharing your home with us, it's lovely, ya'll are lovely, and the bathroom looks beautiful 😍!
That paint color should be called “Dawns eye blue” 💓 Looks great!!
You two did a awesome job. The bathroom looks great.
I am so grateful for your channel. 6 months ago, I started decluttering- found your channel, and got rid of an extreem amount of stuf. I went from spending many, many hours every week trying to make our apartment stay tidy. Now I spend 10 minutes a day...

Great job. So fun to see you working together! My SIL and BIL embraced this quote for their 40th anniversary this year: "together they built a life they loved." Looks like you guys are living that out too. Feel blessed!
This color works super well with the colors in the tile and grout. The bathroom is really beautiful now. Well done!
I could not love this bathroom more. Simple. Beautiful. Perfect.
So pretty. I was not a fan of the blue but now that it’s done I love it. It’s a very calm clean looking space
Such a lovely bathroom. Peaceful and clean!
