half.alive are so damn underrated. I hope to see them gain more traction. There are so many different elements to their music, thematically and stylistically, that are skillfully blended. Their lyrics are poetic and inspiring, touching on the human condition brilliantly. It's also refreshing to hear some elements of pop fused with older styles of music, bringing new life into the redundant and rehashed pop sounds we're usually bombarded with, which makes their music more accessible to the masses while offering something a little different than they're used to. It's a shame so many people still consume so much dead mainstream garbage while music with so much soul like this often goes overlooked.

This song makes me feel like I’m riding in a convertible in the summer, down to a bigger city, and running through the parts of the shopping district, stopping in front of an art installation, and sitting and staring at it till I finally get the meaning behind it.

Then my daughter shared your music with me and this song and I was blessed by it! We just saw you live in Austin. My daughter was interviewed after the show by your people. The way you have blessed her is that we have been called out of the church / "come out of her my people". Since we left (4 years ago) we have been Sabbath Keepers and keeping His feasts. Hearing you all use Shalom and noticing you keep Sabbath, has really helped her to feel much more secure in her beliefs. It is almost like she is excited by it all now.
