The outro for this video is a recreation of the credits from a short film called ''The Incredible Machine'' from the 60's, which touches several cutting edge computer topics such as voice generation and computer animation. The music in that section is a fragment of a song called ''Beat Canon'' that came in a Bell Labs LP called ''Music from Mathematics''. Both of these things can be found on youtube.
I love the colors and props used in this. So much so, that I did a deep dive on what they were... - The "mic" and PA that Dallon uses is an IVAC Corporation "IVAC 630" volumetric infusion pump. It came in orange. It did not come with a mic. - Computer in front of the pneumatic horn section is a New Brunswick Scientific ML-4100 Multi Loop Microprocessor Controller (used for operating a scientific fermenter/bioreactor). Appears to be painted orange for the video. - Other "device" in front of the horns section is a Scantron 888P+ optical scoring machine, also painted orange. - Above the simulated reel-to-reel computer is a Burleigh CE-2000 Three-Axis Inchworm Controller (originally came in orange) (For the life of me, I could not figure out what that camera was... I'm guessing Polaroid but find nothing relatively close in searches)
Oooh I know this one! The camera is from a Polaroid ID-3 id card printer. I own all of it except for the camera, so I recognized it while searching for one to complete the set!
I feel like this song is supposed to be making fun of soulless pop songs (saying they are basically made by computers), but being a boring vanilla guy I actually love this.

I constantly thank Panic! At The Disco for introducing me to the amazing Dallon Weekes, as much as I'm sad that he's not in the band anymore, if this is what he does with his time then it was all worth it

i don't know how, but i found this incredible band
i found it from panic xD
I found it from Panic, and I knew how talented Dallon was and I when I heard about idkhow, I knew it would be awesome. I'm so happy that he's happy and he's working on his own stuff with Ryan!

Recommended to me while listening to Simulation Theory
This band proves Dallon was the only thing that made panic at the disco good. Panic fell off hard after he left
explains why twtltrtd was the last patd album I cared about!
I cant wait to be that person who says " I've been here since the beginning" when they get super popular
ll-//
they are already popular, for example with choke
Yep
@Spanish Moustache coming as a sinner i never knew he was in panic! until like 2 months into being a fan. But i had found idkhbtfm while listening to panic! so i was like woah
I hope you realize that this video has six million views
Should've been here last year
Is it weird to say that I love the sound of Dallon yelling?
not at all
Nope, he yells a lot in 'Absinthe' and thats one of the reasons its my favourite lol
May I introduce you to Tyler Jøseph? XD
Nope.
Not at all.
There's only two people I enjoy listening to while they yell/sing.
Dallon Weekes
And Tyler Joseph 👌
This Dallon, is the most accurate Dallon. Teacher, dad, scientist
Its fascinating how RUclips can recommend me an incredible song and after that a 1 hour video about Shrek

THANK YOU

- Above the simulated reel-to-reel computer is a Burleigh CE-2000 Three-Axis Inchworm Controller (originally came in orange)
(For the life of me, I could not figure out what that camera was... I'm guessing Polaroid but find nothing relatively close in searches)
The camera almost looked like one of those mini radio TVs flipped.
Well done!
Thank you for telling us!!!
Oooh I know this one! The camera is from a Polaroid ID-3 id card printer. I own all of it except for the camera, so I recognized it while searching for one to complete the set!
thank youuuu
This song is so addicting to listen to, I love this music video.
What a creative idea. This is what today’s music industry should have been.
I think its commentary on how devoid of passion and humanity popular music is. They're saying this is what music shouldn't be.
