Dallon: hold my bubble
I discovered this band a few weeks ago and lemme tell you it was the best thing that ever happened to me in this quarantine. ❤
I thought this is such a creative way to shoot a music video in the middle of this pandemic, so far I haven't seen any groups I follow doing this. They really care for their safety.
Love the whole concept and sound of this band. Way to go, IDKHOW!
May not be your thing, but Twenty One Pilots also made a creative music video referencing the pandemic, and the song itself sounds different from most of their stuff, you should check it out it’s called Level Of Concern.
I much prefer iDKHOW though, and absolutely adore this video.
@@SmokeyMcPotProductions Thank you for your recommendation. I listen to too many groups, so I don't really check Twenty One Pilots that much. I would check them out!
i need a bubble like this. my own don't-go-near-me-i'm-an-introvert-space. also protects me from corona. i need it
I COMPLETELY forgot about this band I was OBSESSED three years ago but I just got reminded of it again and I’m so happy I was , officially obsessed again
One of my favorite bands crossing with my deep love for retro computers; utter perfection!
Holy shit, this is the best thing I've ever seen, way to make the whole situation look like a cool 80s apocalypse
Also the helmet from Back to the Future, I stan
I don’t know how, but I will be here when this premieres
guess the money couldn't buy a friend
Alternative 98.7!!!! Only place I heard of you guys and listen too!!
listening to this song after what happened with ryan hits different now
I'm wondering if it was about him and he didn't know
What happened?
@@Ark_knight0 Ryan is no longer a member of IDKHOW. At the beginning of the year it was revealed that Ryan stole money from Dallon, and until a week ago, Ryan's departure was made official due to "a series of broken trusts"
@@Ark_knight0 Ryan supposedly stole thousands of dollars from Dallon not too long ago; his departure was made official a week or two ago.
what happened ?
I really like the deep darkened shadow in the computer, he only shows up twice and yet he's awesomely ominous.
Been with you since The Brobecks. This is your best yet.
I love the hand done 80’s light effects on Dallon at the end
Reminds me of the original Tron movie
You guys are....Another Brick in the Wall... and I like ❤️🎶
I love this song and the music video is amazing
Big Shot

I can relate to this comment on a spiritual level
Knowing the target demographic, that's not a very high bar.

I'm 39 and I love this band, I love that 80s sound and the video is amazing.
Shoutout to the motion graphics team, those UI elements on all the computers are amazing!
My uncle was excited about the MV, he actually send the song as a suggestion on the radio in the Netherlands were they're at 🇳🇱
I still love the suits lol!!
you should wear the suit all the time, in every video
@@reirasprout6263 dude you know my jeans and i don't change the style ever. but I'd wear this yeah
You do a good "what in the name of science?!" face, lol

Heard this song on XRT the other day. Sat in my car til it ended to get the name of the band. Reminds me a ton of Oingo Boingo (the singing style is very Danny Elfman) and The Killers first album. Told husband to look them up. He immediately got the Back To the Future reference. It’s nice to have a new (to me at least) band to listen to.
So glad you found them!
i get a sense of pride in the fact that im amongst the other 200k people (almost) all around the world that know this piece of gem
God, I'm so glad I have this ad. The song is so wonderful, probably one of my fav so far
That line,"The devil that you know, is better that the devil that you don't." is so good.
tHERE ARE TO MANY THINGS TO COMMENT ABOUT (ill say it all)
1. At first I was thinking "Oh well they are taking some serious precautions and bein safe" and then I was like "Nope they are being experimented on."
2. tHAT ENDING DALLON WHERE DID YOU GO COME BACK
3. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH
4. I need to know the story whats the story theres gotta be a story i need more whats the backstory s t o r y t i m e p l e a s e
5. Oh god Dallon's glowing- nO COME BACK
6. Is this related to the "Do It All The Time" video
7. Great work on this! :D
8. Im SHAKING????
9. I physically cannot process this h e l p
This is literally my favorite music group
I've always loved the old school look of everything in your videos
80's vibes, Oh Lord! You're giving mercy ❤️❣️💕
It's 4 in the morn, well I'm sold,. Much love and listening
Seems to be getting to the point where people aren't just writing songs inspired by the 80's but LITERALLY writing 80's songs.
Its because its reminiscent of a better more innocent time.... less sterile, cold, controlling, angry, hateful, divided.. we all just got along. I remember.
I remember riding my bike alone a couple miles to see my friends. Mom wasn't trying to call me on a cell bc there was no cell. I remember reading books that were made of paper and using a rotary phone and I had to talk to friends in the kitchen while mom cooked bc it was the only phone in the house and the cord only went so far. I just remember having fun. And TV not being so stressful and angry. Watching the Jeffersons, Carol Burnette, Cheers, Facts of Life, What's Happening. I remember and I wish I could find a time machine and return
@@dystopian2153 I was born after those times and yes, it's like it was better back then. You got the peace, not a lots of worries about environment & stuff, and after that you got all this new technology, where everything about it was good.
80's sounds like a fun time where to exist. Although my country was in a dictatorship and that sounds no fun, but if I had a time machine I would surely have money or resources to travel to another country.
@@dystopian2153 yeah but more racism and people like me (asian and trans and gay) were hate crimed every day.
@@dystopian2153 This is not true, you're just nostalgic.
@@dystopian2153 As they say, "No country for Old men"
I've spent the whole afternoon listening to this song in a loop. I LOVE IT.
JSISOS I’M *READY*
A Commodore PET! So cool!
Had this song appear as an ad here on YT, gotta say they make some pretty good music.
When the office is shutdown for a pandemic but the IT team still needs to come in.
This song needs way more recognition imo.
I'm glad that i found you guys..
I'm disappointed in myself for taking so long to discover my new favorite song by my new favorite band. At least 2022 granted me this one good thing.
The synths and drums go great together, and Weekes voice fits perfectly. Love this song, no complaints.
