This is one of the most underrated channels I've ever seen. There's no mumbling or rambling about different topics, you tested things to answer any questions people might have, and even the ads were put in between segments so they didn't interrupt the video. OMG stuck dinos is the worst isn't it? It's worth keeping an empty cryo pod on you JUST to keep from getting stuck. Especially if you live in close quarters with your dinos like my raft base. So glad this will help you :)
What are the limitations of the cryopods for deploying cryopods with dinos in them in different maps? I heard some dinos CANNOT be delpoyed in certain maps...?
can you put a dino in a cryopod that has a full inventory? like an anklyo full of raw metal in his inventory, can you then put him in the pod bring him back to base full of metal?
I have a trick that may help,get two cryos,put the anky in one and get another dino (that is fast and has good weight) in the other. Get all the metal on the anky,put the metal on the other creature,wait for the cryo sickness thing to go away,pick the anky back up,then go home while riding the dino full of metal.
I have a question in regards of bringing cryopod dinos into the tek cave. is there a certain limit in the cave where cryopods are rendered useless? I tried to enter the tek cave with an army of armored rexes and allos and i died. i thought the best solution was to bring my army with cryopods but i read there is a limit to using them in the tek cave.
this was my next idea and also im going to be doing my ark videos once i get my gaming pc fixed i got one for Christmas and it didn't work so i had to send it back and i wil lm be playing on my server nice vid tho

I've lost tames in single player transferring from one map to another and then it crashing out. Would cryo pods minimise this? Every time I lose a tame I just don't want to play the game anymore. I bought a season pass for it all but right now that seems like I wasted my money. Please help! Thanks. I'm on ps4.
So sorry to hear that's been happening! I actually pretty much always transfer my creatures in cryopods and I haven't personally had any problems with it myself. I don't play on official though, so that might have something to do with it. If anyone else knows more about this, feel free to reply here.
Just got 2 of these today. Put my carno and my anky in,put the anky in so I wouldn't have to wait 5 years to walk a few feet and the carno so I could defend myself and speed up
Do you have any information about jumping official servers with a full cryopod? Do we lose the tame, keep it, this would make server jumping a lot easier

Don’t know it this is answered in the video but, if you build on a platform saddle and then you cryo that Dino, is it destroyed? If you answered this then I’m impressed.
This video is great . Cryopods are a must have but I fail to see how they are overpowered if anthing they are very much needed especially for taming. Heck I would go as far as to say they are needed to keep the game going because walking a tame for a long distance is a pain.
Wow, that's awesome! Congrats on the epic shark tame! And yes, I store my tamed dolphin on my Ark Genesis let's play series in a regular refrigerator or storage box when I'm not using it. It's named SharkBait because that's basically all a dolphin is if you leave it alone in the water lol. Also if you accidentally throw down the cryopod on land, it should give you a warning message and won't work (which is SUPER helpful, even though I really wish I could fly over and drop sharks on people's bases).

So I just bought Genesis, and I put a few dinos from my The Island server into my ark data, and now when I throw down the pods I can't ride them, even though they have saddles.
Yikes, are they flyers? Because flyers are disabled on Genesis official, but you have a setting where you can enable them on your own game. You might also try re-uploading/downloading them out of their cryopods to see if that helps. As a last resort you could always use the summontamed admin commands to replace them with a new one that might work. Let me know if any of that works! :)
Don't know if you've got your answer anywhere else but no, any of the temporary tames (titans, titanosaurs, liopleurodon) can't be cryo'd. There may be mods on PC, possible server settings that can change that, I'm not sure. But under normal circumstances they won't be picked up.
I just got one but I'm having an issue I used it once then I went to use it again but nothing happens do I have to charge it or does it have a cool down
Thanks Marissa! That's probably what's going on Israel. I believe it recharges in a cryofridge at about the same rate as it loses charge outside the fridge. Marissa, do you happen to know if you can charge back a cryopod that expired with a dino in it to get the dino back or is it lost forever? I try to never let that happen so I'm not 100% sure myself but people have been asking lol

LOL that's actually exactly why I haven't tried it yet either. When a Cryopod gets close to expiring I dump it in the ocean and replace it with a new one to be safe. If you do let one expire, make sure it's a dodo or something you don't care about because I have a feeling it may die forever o.O But I would be curious to find out what happens if you do happen to find out. Actually there's no downsides to using a cryopod as long as you don't deploy a dino while you have the cryo-cooldown debuff still on (which only knocks it unconscious and makes it vulnerable to damage. Even with cryo-sickness, when it wakes up there's no long-term effects). You can even drop a dino out of a cryopod, then immediately put a different dino back into that cryopod with no negative effects. Just make sure the cryopod doesnt run out of power or your dino will die in it.
Its theirs now, and if you had a dino on it, it will become theirs also.. same thing if you find a dino in a cryopod it will be yours when you bring it out.

I so wish you could! They made sure when you pick up a dino in a Cryopod, it drops all its inventory on the ground.

If your inventory is full and you cryo it is their a way to get it back because I think I just lost my best rex

I found a abandoned vault, had 15 cyropods inside it. They had the status of DEAD. So they stay there

Is this just a bug on PS4 or not a bug at all but every time I cryo up a Dino, anything in its inventory disappears including food
no thats normal. Everything in a dinos inventory vanishes when sent inside a cryopod.
