      The Bible says in John 3:16-36 that whoever believes in the Lord Jesus Christ shall not perish but have everlasting life, the Bible also says in Romans 10:9 that those who declare with their mouth that Jesus Christ is their God, Lord, and Savior they shall be saved. Revelation 1:8 says that Jesus is the alpha and the omega. Luke and revelation is the ending times, and Jesus is returning back. So are you going to submit your life to him or no? Narrow is the path that leads to the gates of heaven, but only few people find it. The gates that is the path to destruction is where many people find it! Jesus loves you SO MUCH! That he died on the cross, and was resurrected from the dead 3 days later to give us eternal life.

    Great video. As an alternative to "the center" spot, I like the bare rocky spot along the river at about 47,47 - overlooks redwoods but the river keeps out the riff raff, sits between volcano, redwood mtn, other mtn, smaller number of predators roams near, easy water access. Scenic, great resources, great spawns, almost direct center of the map.

    I just want to mention for people, brawlers bay is also good because it offers a lot more resources than you think. On the shore of the snow biome to the north, there are oil rocks where you can get all the oil you need without going underwater. Also, silica pearls in abundance! That is all right in the beginning of the snow biome with only dire wolves and the very rare Yuty guarding it. I actually built my own base a little further to the north and found it be the one of the best spots for resources.

    Im no expert but this vid seemed well thought out and planned. Great vid!
    To anyone reading this, check out coordinates Lat- 46.0 Lon- 58.5
    There is a natural crevis surrounding an incline on 2 or 3 sides which i use for my taming pens. There is a forest on the other side of the crevis so easy wood/thatch/chitin with none of the forest danger because of the space between and TONS of water and regular rocks for your metal/stone/flint needs. There is a river in front for easy access to water and fish/prime fish meat, mountains and a volcano within short flying distance rich on either side with metal, crystal, and obsidian, two resource drops nearby, and easy access to prime meat through large herbivores that spawn nearby.
    There are three drawbacks to this location however. 1 being that it is not near any large bodies of water so no shark tames here. 2 this incline CAN be tough to build on, though i managed a pretty large base. 3 it is a little far away from the oil rich part of the winter biome.
    My solution to these problems was to build small outposts to make up for this bases short-comings. One outpost near the winter biome continuously making gasoline and polymer. An outpost near the sea for easy access to aquatic tames and resources. A third at the peak of a metal rich mountain near the base for one of the three nearby sources of metal, crystal, and obsidian. These small outposts are almost continuously burning while im away to make gasoline, organic polymer, spark powder, and metal ingots.

    It might not be a best location, but one of my favorite locations to setup is near the river at the southwest part of the map near the red obelisk. Under the red obelisk is a great natural holding water pen for water creatures, it has access to the ocean and I did check that it is deep enough for them to swim into there. Plus, I'm almost positive that on occasion a Quetzal would fly around the red obelisk area at times, so it would be a good spot to keep a look out for it to tame. Also it might not be as close to the snow biome as Brawler's Bay, but you still can take a raft north along the coast to get to the snow biome. But yeah, great suggestions on base locations. Even if The Island is a basic map that the game started off with, it is still one of my favorite maps, because I think it has some of the best water access with oceans encircling the whole map, and rivers spread out through the map. It also has a good variety of different biomes.

But even if I was enegitic or tried to be diffrent and overly upbeat it would show through as fulse. Im not like that and I guess thats why i also didnt pick a name for the channel and just ran with my own name with the goal of fiishing what i started so I will not abandon a play list no matter how long it takes me. I do the odd epersode on the communaty sever that dossent have a puropse for completion but I mostley stick to the goal of completeing a game or challenge. Thanks agine for the kind words

    A place I’ve always enjoyed building at is directly under the green obelisk. It has several levels of large, flat, high up areas right by each other with tons of building space, plus you’ll never get lost!

  • @BadgerOff32
    @BadgerOff32 4 года назад +11

    I would also add Penguin Island in the north-west of the map to this list. It's a big iceberg out in the snowy area, but it's a huge area with plenty of space to build on, and it has the BEST natural water dino storage area on the entire map! One behemoth gate closes it off and you've got a huge pool inside your base to store large water dinos in, with underwater access straight out into the sea.
    Like Herb Island it's (largely) peaceful (you may get the odd argy flying over), but you will have to deal with the constant cold, so it's best to prep before going over there to set up camp (get a set of furs and a bed built over there just in case you die as there's no random spawn point nearby, so if you respawn and try to make it back there on foot, you'll probably die before you can even get close to it).
    It's also at the bottom of blue obi mountain, which has huge amounts of metal, obsidian and crystal on it, not to mention there's tons of silica pearls and oil nearby too. The snow area is also a good place to find high level dinos like Rexes, Yutys, Carnos, Mammoths, Wolves and more (just be wary of Badgers jumping out of the ground on the mainland, they are a nightmare if they take you off your tame, especially if there's a pack of wolves around!)

    I always build on the Southern Shores Eastern area. Most of the PVE servers had the other spots taken, but the Southern Shores is generally ignored, or people build there to start but eventually move out. I usually build in the area just south of the Swamps, but far enough away that none of the swamp spawns will wander into my base. I build in an Eastern area just above the shore and onto a hill that backs up against a high cliff. A lot of the time, I will have a neighbour that backs up against my base onto the other side, but as long as you make friends easily, the space can be shared evenly. It works out really nice because you can build a really big water pen just a couple metres away from your main base, and the spawns for dinos are generally not dangerous (usually the most dangerous things are carnos & therinzinos). The thing you will most have to worry about are the occasional Titanos (but you can build to block them out) or people trying to encroach on your base for space (you can discourage this by offering to help them build in an area on the otherside of the cliff nearby).

    My friends and I built our PvE base at the giant rock to the left as seen at 9:33. We walled off a huge area with stone behemoth gates. It's been a fine location. Mining base at blue obelisk, penguins for polymer, easy access to taming wooly rhinos, argies, rexes, even the occasional giga. The bay with ice floating in it was our water pen. Even with all the aggressive dinos on land none go in water and aggro on water creatures if they're deep enough. You only get cold if you're up against the shore of the bay so keep your main buildings slightly south if fur doesn't interest you. The little pool of water inland also spawns lots of fish to farm fish meat or do some fishing.
    Do recommend turrets/Plant Species X since wild Argies will fly in occasionally and attack stuff. Also there's a supply drop location next to the big rock. If you're restricted then you can't build there but its handy for transfering/going to boss fights.

    I love the Redwoods Lake. Imo it's the best position in the game, and you can set up a base early with a decent Trike mount to carry your stuff and guard you. You're within easy walking distance of some of the best mounts on the Island, and you'll have more wood and metal than you know what to do with. Farm Dire Bears for fur, tame one up as a war mount, and you'll have everything you need to set up a FOB in the snow biome for whatever you need it for.

    I'm new to ark and been looking for a place to set up my home and the center looks like such a good area to be in, you have access direct to snow mountains, volcano, redwoods, and even more importantly access to a huge metal spawn location surrounded by carnivores, perfect for resource and level grinding!!!

    • @LachNetSoDumm
      @LachNetSoDumm 3 года назад

      it really is. i play with 3 friends on a non-dedicated session where i'm the host and center is perfect in all respects. we've had a titanosaur wander in and somehow got him triggered and he ended up killing everything. after that i built a wall of dinosaur gates with a couple of behemoth gates around the base so no wild dinos wander in. just remember that titanosaurs might turn up there and it's also not far from giga spawns. but if you got walls and good tames, you can hold the position well. and the proximity to pretty much everything on the map is something i wouldn't want to give up

      @lukasadventures3438 3 года назад +1

      @@LachNetSoDumm Yes it has happened to me that gigas have spawn in the same mountain two times already!
      What I've noticed tho is that Gigas don't move that much, they either stay in place or go downhill but almost never go uphill or sideways so what I do is locate a giga, bait it to follow me to the other side of the mountain and that way he won't even bother me hehehe

      @@lukasadventures3438 thanks, that's a good call.
      i've recently seen a giga at the south eastern of the three mountains near the center. guess i'll bait it away then, just to be sure. don't want to test my base defense rexes with a giga ^^

    The spot i tend to build at, though it might be a bit more material intensive if you decide to build 'up' is in the redwoods on the far eastern end, just before hitting the swamp, and in fact can have some swamp dinos spawn on th most eastern hill of it. On the resource map, its the stretch of area that looks like it might be sand, with deep green on the left, light green on the right, and brown above it, with the southern stretch leading straight into the swamp. Its a valley like area with a low river running through it that works perfectly for farming, and a particular spot in it is large enough to easily match Herbivore island in size, and are some good spots for platforms with natural walls to reduce the cost of walling in an area without needing any more than spike walls. Its also quite central to the whole map, has water access, a metal rich mountain right next to you and is picturesque if you know how to build properly and not just make metal boxes.

    I'm building on Herbie right now for the first time, and it does have some serious drawbacks. First of all, it's not ideal for keeping your land based tames, unless you spend tons of metal to build a bridge to the mainland. Second, it's far away from the good beacons, as well as sources of obsidian and crystal. Transporting those from the mountains is all but impossible until the end game when you have a high level quetzal. Third, LEEDSICHTHYS spawn all around the island and prevent the effective usage of rafts. If you sail straight for the mainland and then hug the shallowest part of the coast, you might survive. And last but not least, the distance from pretty much everything lore related makes it a pain to transport your battle tames to caves and the like. You would have to have a separate pen in the central plains, making the Herbie base kind of pointless. I would only recommend it for very early game isolationist gameplay, or very late game when the logistics issues can be overcome by your tech progression.

      Use an Argie with points pumped into weight to transport goods to Herbie Island.Cryopods to transport larger dinos. Or just have a kill squad of sharks escort them while they swim to the mainland.Every issue you had has a solution.

    • @jasonreed7522
      @jasonreed7522 11 месяцев назад +1

      Its nice early game since you can farm stone, wood, and metal in relative peace. (The worst thing I've personally seen near it is a meg, and i can make the direct swim easily and have been extensively using rafts)
      My primary issue is the isolation, it takes way too long to sail from Herbivore Island to anywhere important enough to sail to. (It has all the basics, but nothing more. I don't even have wild dinos to hunt anymore despite keeping to 1 corner of the island.
      I am currently looking for a much more centrally located base to simplify logistics, but i can't seem to find any place truly safe, flat, easy to get dinos to, and close to major resources. (Really annoyed with a spot i found just west of the redwoods that was perfect, except for the incredibly uneven ground once i landed)

    • @Matakshaman
      @Matakshaman 11 месяцев назад

      @jasonreed7522 the hill known as Weathertop is flat enough for a medium sized base building, and a wall around the area to keep a large amount of dinos. Crystal and a few metal rocks are found a short distance away on a southern mountain/hill. More metal can be found on the redwood mountain (fly above the forest!). Obsidian is still far away unless you are going into the caves, but that's true for most of the map

    The flattest piece of ground on the whole island is the river bottom just north of 50,50. I built a mansion there with a giant stone courtyard and even put a big octagonal fountain in the middle. It's my favorite place to build because you are never more than half the map from your base, and there is plenty of room to get creative. If you are playing solo and have plenty of time for construction, you might want to give it a shot.

    A few things to point out for each of the main areas -
    - The Center has no water, it's actually pretty far away from it
    - Herbie is a pain to get crystal and obsidian to
    - Redwood Lake is full of nasties and anytime you take fliers through, expect microraptors and thylos to dismount you
    - Waterfall area is not all that close to metal, crystal and obsidian but you're close to oil rock formations on the edge of the snow area; you're also close to good water locations, like the cave, pearl pools and tuso/basil spawn points
    Note to the Single Players, you might want to tweak your settings if you're going to build next to or on top of resource nodes, or else they won't spawn anymore.
    I usually just ignore all of the other locations.
    My usual place is where the marsh meets the two river branches just south east of the bottom of the red woods. You have literally everything around you except for organic polymer.

    I moved from the beach to the hidden lake with a friend of mine today. It took the whole day to move there because our dinos got stuck on every tree and stone or were to slow to follow us. We lost some good friends today because they either died or just got stuck somewhere. We successfully made it to the point and will build our base there tomorrow. F for the dinos that didn‘t make it.
