Got my Argy FINALLY today. It was an adventure. Accidentally killed one. Had one taming in a pen and happened to also get an any taming right next to it… pack of hyenas came and killed them in seconds. 🤣 Finally got one and this girl has survived three trexes that have killed me in one day. I love her. 😂
Great vid Phlinger but u should think of doing some for like water dinos too. Like basi is great but a tuso is just as great of a water mount if not better for basis can't go to extreme depths. Still already knew all of that; however, I think it's great u do these vids for it helps those whom don't know this stuff especially new players too! Keep up the amazing work dude and looking forward to watching u defeat rockwell! :) good luck!
I’m sure there is some timing trick that I haven’t figured out with the Queen Bee. But that crap sux major moose balls. I’ve managed to get lucky twice, but it took hours and hours and hours trying over and over. Sometimes they simply won’t take the kibble whether they are agro or not.
Also the redwoods is the WORST place to get a queen bee…there’s a far easier spot that spawns two just out in the open every time. I can’t remember the coordinates off the top of my head but there’s plenary of videos out there that show you the spot. Imo once you know that spot it puts the bee on way down the list on hardest to tame. Personally I think the Theri is the hardest because of how hard it hits when you’re trying to trap it plus it’s almost homing like beacon it has on its intent to walk up to you and murder you and your tames every single time.
Good morning! I just need to complain for a moment Because the Rhynoganthia is making swamp hunting impossible, or even being near wetlands.... I'm still on evolved, it was the last Dino we're getting And I really wish we hadn't! It's done morning but make the swamps significantly harder and nearly impossible to get over it by, forget hunting for a mount! I'm having the worst time getting a Bary...or any gator friend... I'm about to have a beaver as my beginner water mount.... I have plenty of the male drops to get one I just wish they were gone though.... Worse than Yuti's!
If you’re struggling that hard with this games path finding then you need to watch more vids on how. I always go straight for a high level Rex even without the saddle unlocked. You can always build a sawn cabin slash taming trap with spikes on the sides of the trap walls and a Dino gate entrance. Run into the trap into your cabin and then run around and close the Dino gate on your tame. You can place large bear traps in it too if your slow.
@Ronwjr it's not the taming part, I've been doing that fine It's the giant Rhynoganthia bugs ambushing me every few moments. I'm on evolved on the switch, don't know if that makes a difference But the murder-helicopters are causing issues and I don't want to run with a giant entourage of dinos for protection, things I want get killed that way
I’m so confused, I always use a Bary for the underwater caves on the island because of their stun attack. Gives you a chance to attack with out being mega chomped by the billions of sharks.
u cant pick up wild dinos with argy if u are on official. also I finished the whole ark the island without the thyla so it is not a must to have at all.
Gathering yeah it’s just that their weight isn’t that good. I do use theris for wood personally tho. On this playthrough I didn’t feel like babysitting a beaver while I tame it, so I been using theris and my hatchet, and the bronto. Really the bronto is to get berries but I end up getting wood anyway and just keep what I get. Beaver is honestly better than mammoth too with the smithy saddle and weight reduction. I feel like mammoths are more useful in PvP with the damage reduction buff.
1. Ankylosaurus 0:44
2. Moschops 1:58
3. Doedicurus 3:00
4. Mammoth 4:32
5. T Rex 6:25
6. Baryonyx 8:30
7. Basilosaurus 11:18
8. Argentavis / trap setup 13:14
9. Therizinosaurus 16:35
10. Thylacoleo 18:04
11. Queen Bee 21:05
Man, a Phlinger video that doesn't start with 'Heyy, how's it going?' still throws me off for a moment.
Good Morning Phlinger and Phamily! I hope your weekend was everything you wanted it to be!

Id go to say argies are an improved smithy, as i use them for saddle creation due to their weight stat and more inventory slots aswell.
Just starting today. Wish me luck!
Liked and subscribed!
Happy Monday Phlinger!
Hi Phlinger Coffee time. :)
The Yuty is extremely hard to tame also. Just trapping it while on a mount is hard with the fear roar.
Raft trap with built in spawn cabin
Thanks again Phlinger for the great videos, and have a Happy Thanksgiving 🦃
More helpful tips for taming bee's in the red woods bring a sickle and clear all bushes, and if you can get alest one piece of kibble
Good morning Phlinger and all , hope you all have an awesome Monday 🥰

@ well then kite it to a paracer lol. Then kite your baryonix to the tame pen. One good rex destroys the entire swamp though
@@Ronwjr a pack of argies works better on the bug
@ them too, but a good high level Rex wrecks the whole swamp
thanks Phlinger!
Wow thanks this is very helpful, I'm new to this game and I defo suck lol
Gotta say the embermane from carnivore island was a pretty sick tame as well, not to hard.
How about sabrertoths , fast and furious and eaaier to tame , good for leather and chitin harvest
Saber's are amazing, but not essential... Thyla's made sure of that.
I’m so confused, I always use a Bary for the underwater caves on the island because of their stun attack. Gives you a chance to attack with out being mega chomped by the billions of sharks.
Pterdon, argie, anky, doedi, beaver, thyla optional but I just love em,boss battles rexes and theirs, and of course yuti
15:52 my first argy was on the side of the volcano and I had to land oo The rocks to climb down to it well fall down to it. Lol
I’m going to do a play through with just these games in this order
thx you phlinger
locations on maps would help. i tried to spawn a thylo, on the island map and it said, i could not?
u cant pick up wild dinos with argy if u are on official. also I finished the whole ark the island without the thyla so it is not a must to have at all.
You can in pvp
Bro, theri is as good, if not better, than mammoth for wood

And don't forget basilo for water best sea mount bar none
Can wr be expecting ragnarok 😮?
I'm playing forglar ATM mod map and it's great
Noice.
Man you’re doing wayyy to much with that argi trap
Huzzah
