Can't believe they made it through the early / mid 90s with all their limbs & faculties still intact XD Fucken crazy times! \o/ ....I see our Bob's got his Nick Cave suit on again!
interesting... but lacks the manic energy & soulful desperation of the original. again, not bad, but when u listen to others do this, u just really realize how freakin ahead of their time the elevators were. roxy was on the verge of shakin up the world. never has there been a bigger just miss then the elevators & that even includes arthur lee and love.
kelvinkloud depends on what you value. If you like groove, this one is superior. If you like mood and atmosphere, they’re both great, if you like frenetic psychedelic rock n roll, the original rules.
I had to re-listen to the original version by the 13th Floor Elevators so I could get this dreck outta my head...if you can't do justice to the original than just don't do it....
one of my favourite magic mushroom songs
Any band that pays homage to TFE music in a respectful and creative manner does not deserve derision. X heavy!!!!!!!!!
Thank you .
It sure is. Mani played bass for Primal Scream from 1996 to 2011.
massive tune and nice video
Anyone know the vocal sample or what they are saying at the beginning? No, I'm not talking about the Sly and the Family Stone laugh.

London Olympia on Friday 26 November 2010. First of the Screamadelica shows.
Screamadelica was all in the production. This proves it.
Is that Mani on bass?
Yep.
c'est une bonne version de sleep inside this house du grand groupe psychedelique 13th floor elevators
Slip...
Great rave version of Roky's and Tommy Hall's masterpiece from 1968!
sounds like rokys voice at the start?
Yip, its from the Screamadelica Live DVD. You should be able to pick it up fairly cheap. Great gig!
Do you have the full concert??? it sounds epic!!
I love Bobby G and Richard Fearless.
Listen to the actual recording and tell me if it still sounds like a high school band.
Trust me it's much better on the album
This is actually really good for a live version of a techno dance song. I very much enjoyed
cool
Aaaooooo
Nous élève au 13 floor elevator et à raison

Yes
Where it was this?

Do you want to go to a party with Bobby Gillespie ?
I don't want to sound like a nerd but is that the wrong bass line. I think it definitely is.
Yeah, you're right
I think it's because bobby is singing in a different tone
Danilo Ferreira Throb sang the lp version. Bobby had acid house flu
and he says fk lol
They are playing it in a different key from the album version, so the bass line has been modified
Something is different. Doesn’t sound terrible tho

It's kind of a hit or miss to cover this song. They missed.
The album version is far, far better than this.
I like the arrangement, but that guy can't sing.
Total crap
