One of the greatest music festivals in the world. Wonderful to see so many people coming together and enjoying themselves. 😉 Music can unite people it has that soul. GREAT PERFORMANCE!.
the slow piano at the start slightly reminds me of 'you can't always get what you want' by the stones. excellent performance , and still my favourite PS song for years
My life changed forever by this soundtrack. Me - a young American living in France on a canal boat (Peniche), with my busker roommates from Japan, UK, Spain, Ireland, etc. (yes... you Captain Paul from County Cork Ireland) ... best days and saddest days... and Primal Scream was our Sound track ...we learned of Kurt Cobain's passing here... quite a marker in one's musical life. Along with many other cultural adventures. I was only 22/23yo at the time and it was the best soundtrack to my life. (at least the 90s ;) yeah)
And BBC, my later story was moving to UK in 1993 as a bartender in London. Then in 1999 my partner moved us from USA to Germany to build dirigible airships. an interesting time for music. AHEM.

@@Gogettor He said it's a 70s sound, which is very true. Early 70's late 60's psychedelia. Much of the british 90s alternative rock took inspiration from the British Invasion and the hippie movement... This song in particular has a lot in common with Sympathy for the Devil, while ironically utilizing gospel tropes.
Hey. In a thousand years we'll all be dead and 30 years between our births will seem like a mere blip in the matrix. You might even be hawking about the clouds in an 80 year olds dressing gown while i'm floating around in a 46 year olds cape
R.I.P. Martin Duffy His Light Shines On....

Nostalgia really hit hard, also the GTA San Andreas memories... Damn!!!!

The whole tune reminds me of the stones.. But yeah the way that was played there on the Hammond instead of the acoustic certainly sounded similar.
Which is also a magnificent tune. Good ears. Nice.
I was waiting for "I saw her today at the reception..."
By design 👌
