Having bought and tried the Duett myself , I found your review most accurate and fair. Great work👍 Duett is surely a great and lovely piece of kit, and I didn‘t want to miss it anymore. However (speaking in 2022), many of the more recent reviews on YT appear to me a bit too favourably.
I find your videos very informative and spot on without any unnecessary and cringy elements. My suggestion is to make the videos somewhat more lively by editing. But the explanation part is very good
Much better than many famous reviewers as more informative. Thorough without being boring. Concerning the Duet, if it's better as a tablet, then maybe other tablets would be better since they do a better job at being tablets. The Samsung galaxy Tab S6 lite now supports Dex. It has a better screen and is probably snappier.
I was thinking to get this just to type out my notes for school because my laptop battery sucks so I can't bring it to 4 hour lectures 🙃 but I think that having this will be good just to type notes and when I get home to use my actual laptop for heavy duty homework
This tablet can easily play decent size real time games, i play call of duty mobile on medium graphics just fine with no lag. That's like i said medium graphics, also without doin much multitasking while I'm playing. The chip set amd ram is plenty enough to play medium size and medium graphic intense games at medium settings with at least a 3rd of your ram available.
I've had one for about 4 months never used a Chromebook and honestly everything positive online is definitely spot on I love it, can do virtually everything work wise and media viewing. Now the killer app 😉is adding an Xbox controller with xcloud 👌🏻
Chromebooks often come with 100GB of extra Google Cloud storage for a year,, since they are CLOUD devices this costs $15 a year there after,,, or more if you chose
The USB C HUB's you describe come with AUDIO IN/OUT,, so you don't have to buy another lenovo adaptor HDMI,, SD card slots, USB A,, Ethernet,, && POWER IN
I think,,,, Chrome browser ,, Google DOC's " web apps ",, can download pages and work OFF LINE these days GET a USI pen $40 on Amazon,, AAAA or Rechargeable flavors,, Try Android ARTrage if you like drawing / Painting ARTrage also supports the 4,096 pressure sensitivity of a USI pen
I've noticed that the stand with its magnets has a slight impact on the wifi. The device will lag when multiple notifications come in, especially running android apps and that is where Google needs to work more. The Duet runs Android 9 and hopefully, that will be addressed soon. On my device, the Linux VM somehow broke android apps, including Google apps. Dev and Beta are no-go. Quite buggy to say the least. Bluetooth is a letdown as it's 4+ and loses connectivity across the room. Having many years of support vs. Android tablets worth 2 to 3 times more, this has great potential.
off topic ( the new range of "One by Wacom" a USB device,, very cheep,, Small $40 ( also works with ALL Chromebooks, even those WITHOUT TOUCH (if you want pressure sensitivity on any Chromebook
is it a good device for work from home which involves 9-10 hours of working, meetings over google meet, using spreadsheets and some apps for call recordings..?
If you are happy with Google Docs online tools there should be no issues. You cannot get MS Office / Excel on this device so what you call as "spreadsheet" does matter a lot. Also the keyboard is obviously pretty low-end stuff so if you need to write a lot, consider getting a mechanical keyboard as an accessory.
skip >> 2m 14s " the keys a slightly shrunk " NO !! look at A ... L on DUET below and standard keyboard above the duet keyboard is a STANDARD SIZE QWERTYOP keyboard,,, the punctuation is smaller but you can touch type since its full size

Great review! you went over really interesting topics Linux, accessory prices, apps, etc. Thanks!
Honestly, this device is one of my favorites for the kind of features it offers and the Mediatek chipset in it.
I find your videos very informative and spot on without any unnecessary and cringy elements.

Thanks for the feedback! I'll keep that in mind for future videos

Your usage is very similar to mine. I use the Duet for notes and if I need something more powerful, I just remote into my main PC.

This is not a budget chromebook. This is a chromebook tablet that does extra stuff. I love mine.
Hows it performing. Thinking of buying it

Is this a good chromebook for online school?
I thought this could be a chromebook surface, but the lack of ports and expandable memory are hard to ignore. Definitely, a secondary device.
One of the better reviews I watched. Very good overview and not just superficial stuff like other reviewers
Hi can we store offline movies which are downloaded in yts

Ya, there's a lot of small inconveniences for the Duet. Sometimes I really wish it was slightly more powerful
Good review sir 😇
Interesting review, thanks.

Can you do a review on the discontinued Pixel Slate?
Could you install Scener extension and let me know if it runs well? I am considering buying this chromebook tablet. Thank you in advance!
I am super curious about this too
@@AlvinAndreanTheVintager hey there. I have just purchased this chromebook and I am using this now for scener. It runs very well. :)
@@apriljoytria3100 cool, thanks for the info! Am going to get this too (soon) 😊
Great video
I'd like a review for my service, how to do it
