I have owned several Chrome books and a Chrome box. After finally purchasing a touch screen chrome book i would never go back. Having a touchscreen Chrome book is having the best of both worlds you wont be sorry 😁
I picked up a used HP Pavilion 15 laptop running Windows 11.. Once it arrives, I will install Chrome OS on it myself. Only cost £210 and the specs are really decent too!!
Acer Chromebook 15 has windows "document" integrated. You can create Resume or any other document as we do it in Windows. Mine expired 2024, still working, but looking for similar Acer, with 15" screen, back lit keyboard, but it is hard to find one.. I am not into touch screen laptops, for me Security, screen size, back lit keyboard and Windows Document feature integration is a must will pay touch screen price, but still looking, couldn't find yet. I like Acer never had any problem. It is sin to demolish the Chromebook like mine. never had virus , looks like just from the store, fast browsing, perfect for movies. I would be happy if it were possible to extend maintenance service at least annually
The fact that the Google Pixel Book Go made this list automatically indicates that this isn't a good list. There is no way a device 3-4 years old should be on this list.
Why? It's still powerful, features 16gb ram in it's top trim, has top of class battery life of up to 15 hours, it's passively cooled so it's extremely light and quiet and it's arguably the most premium chromebook ever made. The CPUs are outdated for top end linux development scenarios, but for 99% of uses cases they're still overkill. It's a brilliant chromebook, I own a 16gb i5 model and am struggling to find a replacement of equivalance.
@@Mantenner because there are many machines with 16gb of RAM since then and faster processors. Acer Chromebook Spin 713 or 714 kills it. Asus CX5 kills it.
I don't own one but missing the Lenovo Chromebook Flex 5i with the with 11th gen Core i3 processor is inexcusable. Good 1080p screen, back lit keyboard, and blazing speed, all for $299.99 is a bargain in any book.
I have the duet since they launched, this is the best chromebook experience I ever have. I can put it into my jacket pocket with no problem , long battery life and good touchscreen. The only bad thing is that you can not use it with keyboard without a table or board. I definitely will buy other duet version tablet / chromebook if my one is dead.
@@Mr_Goodkat the screen and touch are fine, if you looking for a simple , basic chromebook / tablet , it is very good. I prefer the bigger screen one if buy it today.
@@walnoremac I just bought the Duet 5, which has a 13.3-inch OLED screen. It's an amazing machine. Has 8GB RAM and runs very smoothly. Even VS Code runs very well on it!
Hi, could anyone explain to me what the codes of the devices actually mean? e. g. what does the H in CP714-1H mean? I bought my first chromebook 10 years ago and have been using chromebooks since then. The reason for me to buy was they were all fanless and had an SSD. I haven’t been into chromebooks the last 2 or 3 years and now decided to search for a high-end device without a fan. All across the net, whether specific devices are fanless or not isn’t even mentioned, which in my opinion is something new. Even the manufacturers themselves are including every single screw in their specs list, but passive cooling or not is treated as not relevant, which is really bothering me. I'm searching for a high end chromebook without a fan and there seem to be fanless models even in the Spin 714 line (newest Gen). Could anyone help?
I have just a question can I put Meet Chrome OS Flex on a win11 laptop to change the OS? I don't like w11 that much as I am joining online courses and win 11 always seems to freeze me especially in recorded online exams.....
This list is bad. If you're talking about "best", RN it's the HP Dragonfly Pro. Acer and Asus both have newer, faster chromebooks than whats on this list. Even when they said Acer had an 11th gen i5 the picture in the vid showed an 10th Gen. These people didn't even try.
What are you talking about? The Chromebook Gaming are amazing. I would buy it not for being "gaming devices", but for its configurations. The Asus Live 2023 is amazing!
Hello dear blogger 😂 I'm from Ukraine, i use the pixel phone, i have a pixel watch and other Google products, many options for Google don't work in Ukraine 😢 but I believe if we win terrorism russia, Google will go to Ukraine! I want to buy a pixel tablet, or buy Google Chrome book? What is better?
I've gotta know the RAM, man. Otherwise this video is of no use to me. How much? Is it upgradeable? If not, it has to have 16gb(my absolute minimum requirement- I use a LOT of RAM just browsing), which I am certain most chromebooks do not have. And, does it use a true SSD, or the garbage emmc storage? And if so, is that upgradeable? Lots of important stuff you did not even bother to mention. This looks like a promo ad or something. It certainly provides very little useful information.
E Walker not @ewalker1057 - I said I would never purchase another Chromebook. I purchased one when they first emerged. The update time period was very short. So after a few years it was useless. I recently let someone convince me to purchase another one. The time period to service and update is ; longer. Now it keeps losing internet service even though it's working on other devices in my home. Learned my lesson this time.

stop this google propaganda, 2024 chromebooks cant run google docs without loading for 30 seconds and lags with 5 tags open
1. HP Dragonfly Pro Chromebook
2. ASUS Chromebook Flip CX514
3. Samsung Galaxy Chromebook 2
Top 3 best Chromebooks in my mind.
How about Samsung 4 chrome?
I have a HP Chromebook that is expiring on June 2024, and for the Best Tab-Computer 2-In-1 performance, I choose The Samsung Galaxy Chromebook 2.

You gave up exe files.
Do any chrome books use Microsoft word? I know it’s a crazy question. I need to make resume etc.
You have google docs in the apps, once you finish your document you can convert it to pdf or word to send it.

Why care about the feature if it is strong and can last you long that's all you need

Nice list. Although I am waiting for this Asus Chromebook CM14 series that comes with a Kompanio 500 chip. This looks interesting.
Is the ASUS Chromebook powered with Kompanio 520 a good choice for someone looking for a reliable and efficient laptop?
my old flip screen flipped out and broke the hinges on both sides, eventualy, but still works, somewhat,. no more flip for me
Best if money isn't an issue is the HP Dragonfly Pro, best budget could possibly be the Acer 317.
Can we do office work I.e .Excel ,word. With cherome books?
Yes you can.

Any chromebook with LTE and touch id
they need to make pixekbook go 2. I need it like air to breathe. I have my 2019 pixelbook go still go strong. 90% battery health 385 cycle charge
I prefer Chromebook Plus 💯
For audio I will stick with HP.
Acer are reasonable on others area but let down by sound.
You can use advance settings and add a word processor with Linux
can i use a hp copy machine on any of these?🤦🏾♀️ I just need something to study, browse the web and open multiple windows at one time.

Why "HP Dragonfly Pro Chromebook" was skipped?
I like the ASUS chromebook
Samsung: *Happily bounces to tune* :P
Lenovo: *snoozes* V.V
HP hinges are garbage. My laptop fell apart on the hinge twice. And I was super super careful with it. Junk plastic. Will never ever buy another HP.
