Hi @@leftcoastrevivals, are you and Selena, still working on your shared shop space? I haven’t heard you talk about on either this channel or TRL in awhile?
Ok everyone. How many of your Goodwills have this much good stuff? None of you? Yes, that’s what I thought.😂 Laura, you must live in an alternate universe. Thanks for letting us live vicariously through you.
Definitely with the food channel. Check out the fat lava sites for all of the German pottery companies and I can hook you up with a couple of experts. Right after I started watching your site I picked up a number of critters. One was a lucite cat done by a famous Brazilian artist and worth a ton.
Laura is so next-level! Finding treasures instead of junk while muttering the stores inventory and she doesn’t mock the pieces or complain. She’s obviously grateful. That’s integrity imo. Love everything about Laura. Looking forward to the 1st Friday Sale. 🎉
My fav influencer!! Laura. So excited when I see a new video has dropped and this was a doozie! What a day of great treasures. And YES PLEASE in the cooking vids. I appreciate your great work and the enjoyment you provide in this crazy time. XOXO from Savannah GA!
...I love this site and , Laura ..your style is my style ..you’re keeping me entertained ...I’m old enough to be your grandmother , so I don’t get out so much anymore ..love you .
I know 🙈, I keep telling my husband let's take a drive down there just to thrift. Best I find out here is items that came from Walmart lol. I believe we are 15 or 20 hours away lol. Friggen borders need to open. 😣
HI LAURA, I LOVE IT WHEN YOU TAKE ME ALONG ON ON YOUR SHOPPING TRIP,, AS YOU WERE LOOKING AT DIFFERENT THINGS, I WAS SAYING YES!! GET IT!! LOVE THE THINGS YOU CHOOSE!! TAKE CARE AND STAY SAFE!! GOD BLESS!!💖🙏
Fun fact. I have a huge vintage cookbook collection. Hundreds of paperbacks, hardbacks, and pamphlets from the 70s to the late 1800s.😊 I went through all my books during the year we worked from home (had lots of duplicates) and cleaned every room and closet. Bought more when we donated them to Goodwill though.😢😢😢😅
If I went thrifting with you we would end up fighting over everything because I love everything you pick up 😆 also your food looks amazing so thumbs up to a food channel 😋
A tip, when you find pottery or really just about anything if you can’t tell what the signature is try making a rubbing of it. That’s what I do and about 90% of the time it works. Just take a thin piece of paper and use a pencil. Take the side of the pencil tip and rub it over the paper on top of the signature.
@@darstill2195 ,Yes,my Aunt's house was all appliances avocado and orange, shag Carpet! It was amazing! I wish I could go back in time to see it again, now that I'm old enough to appreciate it.
Yes to the cooking channel! I have been on a health journey over the last year and have lost over 55 pounds so I am always looking for healthy recipes that are beyond the mundane. Judging from your pictures you love international cuisine as much as I do!
I love the 70’s.. clothes were made with natural fabrics, great patterns, the fact that Laura finds such beautiful clothes and vintage craft wares is do in part to the wonderful wools, cottons, silks, leathers, handmade artistic inspired items of the 60’s and 70’s, a lot of today’s clothes are very poor quality fabric and poorly made. Just found this channel and LOVE it.
Yes on the cooking show! I automatically click like on your videos once I get notifs even before I watch it so I know the cooking channel will be a blast, too!
Yes, a cooking channel would be marvy! You are so natural on camera and have quite the knack for teaching. This mid-century gal votes yes for a cooking channel Laura.
Yes yes yes to the cooking channel, the food you showed at the end looked absolutely delicious, and it would be brilliant for myself, a beginner cook :)
I love your hauls, your stories, your tips, your finds so I would totally love your cooking channel if that is happening!!!!!❤❤❤❤❤ So excited for your angel lady!!!😊😊😊
I love these kind of videos. I always try and guess if you are going to put the item in your cart or not before you do LOL. I love your style, and you are such an inspiration. Makes me want to slide my style your way more. I love natural woods and pottery. And YES !!! I would absolutely watch your cooking channel !! Get it going girl.
Lucky you with the Paige jeans, they’re adorable! Loved the carved vase with the hibiscus flowers and YES to a cooking channel or section (you can videos) ... I’m with you on the can’t wait to entertain again soon! Loving the Goodwill shopping videos, wishing my local ones had more than trash in them, nothing but junk 😫
Oh my gosh Laure! The one thing I wanted the most was the carved wooden vase that you’ve keeping. It was just awesome. Also loved the green leaf dish. Very nice finds. With the napkin holder we used to put our mail, bills in it. 🤷🏼♀️❤️
Yes I would enjoy your cooking videos if you do so since it’s my other favorite thing to watch! Thanks for the great hauls lady! Got lots of goodies today!
A few ways I use vintage napkin holders... to hold file folders, cutting boards, and paper hand towels in bathroom. Also use for mail, bills, etc in my desk and recipes for the week on the kitchen counter. Attach removable hook to back and hang on wall by door to grab outgoing mail when I leave house so it doesn't get left on my desk! Holds notepad and sticky notes on my nightstand. So many great uses. I have a collection of very old match holders. Like them for cotton swabs and makeup brushes. coming up. Try your library used bookstore for amazing cookbooks and other just-like new finds!!!
Cooking channel? YES!!!!!!!! I love your style, spirit, and authenticity....go for it Laura, you are fabulous in front of the camera..your personality shines through and I learn so much from you!
I love healthy, ethnic food so I would definitely watch your cooking videos! But please continue the thrifting videos as well! Love, love that flower wooden vase, it reminds me of the monkey pod when I lived in Hawaii.
I was a teenager in the early 70s. My bedroom was painted mustard yellow and my bedspread was the same yellow with orange and green flowers on it. I will always associate avocado green with the 70s. But my favorites were the blues and greens of the 60s. I'm with you, Laura!
My taste align with yours and can you hear me hollering Yes! Get that!! I will have to say that your clothing purchases and closets must contain more clothes than I have owned in a lifetime- and I'm in decade 70! You are such a pleasant happy person. Hi Laura! The “olive” color you referenced is avocado green & big colors from the 70s were also orange, yellow & brown! I used to sell Tupperware back in the day & those colors were the primary ones they used! So, if you happen to see some canisters in those shades, you’ll be able to date them to the 70s-80s! Thanks for letting us go along with you in your treasure hunting! 😊💕

hi Laura i think the best way to do your cooking channel would to be display your dishes in all the vintage and generally stylist ways using midcentury bowls ,vases etc and showing how all the food could be displayed on a table setting like Martha Stewart with a modern twist. You have a gift for display which could be a win for food presentation. The food you displayed looks awsome ! Best of luck Eileen (Vancouver Canada)
