Thank you for loving my space at Josephines… I have the space with the glass, retro and yes the Bitossi… also the space across from it with the huge art that you mentioned… it sold I believe the day after💙💚❤️
The little blue vase that reminds you of Royal Copenhagen looks like very old Polish pottery from Boleslawiec, or a Bunzlau piece. Especially that it is not signed, it may mean it’s very vintage. Fantastic find!
I love shipping along with you! The large German ceramic piece with the handle says Handarbeit which means handmade, and the blue and white patterned ceramic vase looks distinctly like Polish pottery, rather than Finnish.
It’s so interesting when you insert a picture of how much something you’ve purchased is selling for online. I’m learning so much from your videos! And it’s cool that you share how much you pay for things. You know there’s a collective cheer from all of us when find an awesome deal!!!
I always squeal with delight when I see you have posted a new video. Thanks for taking us on your thrifting journeys and I love how you style up the items at the end. Wish you had picked up the crow piece to sell on. To me that was as stunning as the rest of your finds. :)
I think your staging is stunning! I have aspirations of emulating something similar one day. Currently it's an excuse to buy cool things whilst thinking 'I can use that in a vignette like Laura' then end up stashing them away in a box to forget I have them! ❤
I’m guilty of this too!! I buy a ton of smalls that I love and I end up just setting them on my bookshelves with no thought to them because I’m overwhelmed! I love seeing what Laura can do with styling a bunch of things that you wouldn’t think would go together! I’m always inspired but have to work on my execution!
Ahhh! I just made my first £100 flipping thanks to you Laura. Question to all the flippers - HOW do you part with your finds? That's the most difficult part!!
I like the styling up bits...some youtubers by loads of stuff and then it disappears into boxes and piles of messy stuff. The way you do it, it makes all your buys look so special.
The brown hat is a nice one. Frank Olive was a designer hat sold at high end department stores in the 80s. Not sure when he started designing and selling but I think way before the 80s. But I bought his hats at a dept store in the 80s
Whenever I go thrifting i find cool decorative things and get them. To only remember I live at home and can't decorate with them. So they are stuck in my overfilled room haha. Like a cool plate I found and can't use yet haha. Guess I am just thinking for the future
Your staging is eye candy for the love of mid century design! Everything you buy, I would buy as well. FYI, love when you find the penguin ice coolers. They were made in West Bend Wi where I happen to live. :)
That first shop reminds me of Granny's Attic in Puyallup. It's always a surprise when I go in. It's so clean and organized because the volunteers are amazing.
I love the shopping and the haul and the decorating too! You are so inspiring! whenever I get overwhelmed I jump right on your channel and watch whatever pops up. I just went to one of my favourite thrift stores and came out with about 50 awesome pieces for $124... because they are so busy and its all volunteers that work there... mostly seniors and high school kids I had to pack my own stuff until one of the high school worker showed up to help me... but I had so much stuff I had to fill a table next to the cashier area and an older lady after me in line saw one of my pieces of pottery.. a blue and turquoise piece and I saw her eyes light up... she picked it up and said to the cashier so this is $3.50... an the cashier said "oh that's sold... she just bought it" and pointed at me.... I said " you take it... it's my gift to you and her eyes lit up even more an she thanked me. the cashier ( who was so sweet an in her 80"s ) looked at me with a cute knowing smile and the lady walked off with it admiring it even more... It was so nice to see how lit up her eyes were when she saw that piece and it just meant so much that it made her day. I like to do stuff like that when the moment feels right like paying for someones coffee in line behind me in the drive thru or just surprising someone with something little and it makes their whole day. Sometimes they are so dumbfounded they don't even know what to say and that is magical in itself because you can see it written all over their face... and they don't need to say a word.
Port Orchard is where I grew up, every time I visit home I hit Josephine’s and new 2 U. My mom sent me a photo of that same MCM Italian Bitossi style vase about a month ago. You came into my booth at thriftapalooza and almost bought a wood carving wall art piece. It was a bummer there weren’t many other vintage booths there, mostly grandpas old t shirts :/
Hi Brittany!! Aww I wish I had come back by! Your space was the best at the show and was crowded for that reason! 🙌 Hope you did well at the show 😁 If you want to be a vendor at my flea market this summer don’t hesitate to reach out. I’d love to have you!!! ❤️
So enjoy your videos. You're an absolute gem. Great presentations at the end, so much work goes into these videos it's unreal. Ah not buying regrets is real. I saw a glass vase yesterday with 3 ladies on it. I have regret not buying it, i thought of you when i saw it. Im heading back, maybe it's still there 😅 Update: it was gone lol
PENGUINS!! At one time, there must have been many households with that. I love everything you got. Especially the bird art. I'm a bird person, too. I've moved several times, and I always love seeing the different birds that I haven't seen before. And yes, I love when you show us how you've decorated with your finds. I've learned a lot from you.
I love how you picked up thing that I don’t like much at all ! Then I see how you displayed it and I am shocked that it fits right into what you had in mine ! I can’t do what you do my house is way to small but I do love to change what I have out often . I can feel the newness from when I bought it all over again ! I know it sounds nutty but it’s what I do !! The personality that you have is priceless ! The hat you bought that looked black it looks great with the strings hanging by you hair . As usual you look happy and beaming with a little mischief in your eyes !
I laugh every time I see the penguin ice bucket while I’m out because they are seriously everywhere! Thanks for showing off the amazing glass pieces! Whether you intended to or not. I’m so jealous of your Goodwills. Ohio Goodwills have nothing but cheap junk.
I get a good chuckle when you find “the penguin”😂. As someone from a small town with no goodwills n such your videos get me thru til I can thrift or till yard sale season. I’ve exhausted our senior center n one tiny second hand store but watching your channel I find new things to look out for each time.
Laura, the studio hauls are some of my fave because how you style and mix everything together is gorgeous! How about a video of all your personal collections! You are so inspiring!
I love to hear another person who has become enamored with birds! My Dad taught all of us kids about nature and especially birds. Bird watching is also relatively cheap. All you need is a bird app or two and a pair of binoculars! So enjoy your newfound love. You have some wonderful finds here!
8:46 With that big painting and dresser set, you just needed s sofa and you would have a great mid century style living room. Fantastic! Big hug from 🇵🇹
I'm loving your videos from beginning to end. I love your treasures. And yes I love seeing how you style it all for us. I already watched pt.1 but I'm going to watch it again ❤.
Loved it! I have a little stash myself thanks to you. My pile seems to be growing and I have to do something with it soon. I have maybe early 1920s or late 1800 Limoges, some Japan Noritake and some German china,, I seem to zip straight to the china. But I am learning so much from you. Keeping my eye out for Bertossi,,I just love the colours. Love your staging too.
I want to come treasure hunt with Laura…..❤so much cool stuff! I’m in Florida everyone says it’s great here but I love what Laura finds in Washington area plus one state I didn’t get to visit when I lived in LA!
Oh I would be so happy to meet you both!! ❤️❤️ I’m going to be doing a “Shop with me” day on July 19th also (a few days after the market) announcing details on that next week!
@LauraCaldwell I remember bringing home souvenir glasses from St. Moritz from the Alpine trains…they were tilted so the liquid would spill when the trains were climbing up and down the mountains.
When I spot the penguin ice bucket in my local antique stores in Alabama I giggle and feel like I’m sharing in an inside joke with you and the thousands of people who enjoy your content ☺️🤣 If you could make a wild guess of the number of penguin ice buckets you have spotted throughout your life what would it be?!?!!!?! ❤❤ Also, if you ever make it down to the Southeast you need to visit Pensacola, Florida! It’s very close to where I live in Alabama with stunning white sand beaches and they have a thrift store called Blue Moon Antiques that is a 60s and 70s mid century livers dream!!!! Keep up all your amazing and entertaining content, you are so wonderful at what you do!!!
I wasn’t familiar with heath pottery and watched yiur video today. I went to savers this afternoon and found a heath pottery bowl! Was hoping might find a set but was excited for the one! Perfect timing!
Funny when you show the Penguin Ice Buckets. When I was looking for one I could never find one and always got outbid at auctions. I finally did get one last year. I laugh every time you show one.
Omg, I grew up in Port orchard. It's been 25 years since I been home and seen my family and friends. You brought me much joy and I do need to get back home to visit. Thanks
PS… Poulsbo.. Port Orchard… Silverdale etc… is not the Olympic Peninsula… it’s actually the Kitsap Penninsula… but I worked in downtown Poulsbo for 5 years at a vintage shop you missed while downtown PBO… Red Plantation! It’s actually the longest running vintage Shop downtown and is my happy place! All of PBO is my happy place honestly… but you are shopping my old stomping grounds… I’m in Pierce county now but I think I need to go spend the day back in Kitsap! Lots of great finds!!! ♥️♥️♥️
I wish New Zealand had Goodwill stores. Our opshops are usually associated with animals, hospices, religions, Red Cross, or Habitat for Humanity. There are antique shores, but their prices reflect the true value of the items on sale. So I love watching you find beautiful and different things at good prices. Also the places you shop are huge compared to opshops in New Zealand so your choices are vast. I look forward to all your vids and displays at the end.
Hi Laura! What about beads on the hat tie, you could make it boho! Wish I had seen more of the orange and black bird item, looked interesting! You are always #1 blogger to watch🤗
Hi Laura! Love your channel and follow religiously. Just a friendly mention; cholla is a Download word and the double Ls are pronounced as a Y. I'm from Arizona and can tell you that cholla is frequently used as live fencing as well. The skeletons are stacked upright together and will continue to bloom. They are so beautiful, and expensive. So happy to see your vlog this morning, made my day! 🌵
I LOVE the hat! I had 6 home schooled kids and I think they watched Pride & Prejudice every month. They would have loved it!! The German vase is beautiful! The purple woven basket will surely be hot because that is a Benjamin Moore color this year. I would die if I found one of those in natural colors here.
Laura! I am so excited! You have gotten some amazing stuff! I loved the last episode with you and Abigail !! I want to come and check out her store one of these days! You got some AMAZING treasures!! I am loving all the fun stuff you got! I love how you style things and show us the haul at the end !!! Yay! Can’t wait to see more❤
OMG I learned about pottery I your channel and I was on that store I though for long time to buying that exactly piece. Unfortunately I wasn't sure because of not been signed! Hahaha I am glad you got it. so pretty!!!! Happy you enjoyed kitsap peninsula! Also Tacoma has great places to shop on your way back home!
Just found your channel through Adirondack Girl at Heart. Love, love, love watching what you buy and how you decorate with it!! I just opened a booth in an antique mall in Michigan and am trying to learn more about what to sell. By the way, my Mom and her family are from Washington! Thank you for your wonderful channel!!
It’s funny that I commented on “part one” that you were going to all the places I have family. Plus my brother being in Port Orchard and you should go there. And here you are!!!!🤣🤣🤣
It's so funny that you keep finding the penguin warmer/ice bucket wherever you go! Years ago, I bought a metal harp music holder and now see them quite often when I am thrifting.
Welcome to my town! If I may we are on the Kitsap Peninsula (not Olympic :-)) but anyway so sorry to have missed you. BTW you make our little town look so good = video graphing skills/goals! See you in Portland!
Love when you fjnd🐧 😂 I love the deer sketch and am surprised 20$ is steep? Always learning from your videos thanks! Love the staging portion at the end of your videos also!
Thank you, Laura for visiting the antique and vintage store in Port Orchard that's called "New 2 You." And that you said it was your new favorite store with everything priced so good. I am a vendor there my booth is the Green Picket Fence. Please come visit again. I just newly subscribed to your channel here. I used to watch you and the Vintage Boomshell ages ago !!!
Hi Laura! I've been binging your videos for the past few months after I came across George The Antique Nomad's videos! I am in love with your videos! I've recently renewed my love for thrifting after I broke a dish in my pattern and I had to hunt down a replacement. I wanted to comment on this video because I visited the Seattle area 3 years ago. I loved Josephine's and the antique store in Port Orchard. My Airbnb was just up the hill from the downtown area(fantastic place!). It was the BEST TRIP since I got to visit Seattle too. So, from one Laura to another, happy thrifting from Milwaukee, Wisconsin! (We don't have any Goodwill's as good as yours in Oregon here....😢 but there are really good antique malls and vintage stores)
You should do “the penguin project” where everyone sends you a picture of their penguin ice bucket find with the location and date listed. It would be really interesting to see how many are out there!
I loved so many pieces that you picked up. The woven basket in blue is beautiful. I have some from Iran but they are different colors. The antique store was a bargain hunters paradise!
Hi Laura good morning happy Tuesday morning and I hope you having amazing day today and I loved your vlogs and you are amazing Supporter and I'm proud of you
Did you know Seattle has the World's Largest Thrift Store? And thanks for buying that $12 basket...That was my booth! ❤
That purple woven basket ? Was nice 👍🏾
Thank you for loving my space at Josephines… I have the space with the glass, retro and yes the Bitossi… also the space across from it with the huge art that you mentioned… it sold I believe the day after💙💚❤️
I wanted so many of the things in your spaces! Fabulous finds!! 👏 That Bitossi 😍
The glass was amazing! ❤
The little blue vase that reminds you of Royal Copenhagen looks like very old Polish pottery from Boleslawiec, or a Bunzlau piece. Especially that it is not signed, it may mean it’s very vintage. Fantastic find!
That was my guess as well!
That it was a Polish piece…
That’s what I thought too. Totally smacks of Polish pottery.
I agree 👍 sweet pice either way keep Rocking 🤙 the good stuff 👍 Beautiful people 🤗🍫🐇🕊️🌷
Touché, I was going to say the same thing. Bunzlau, definitely.
The wonky glasses would be perfect for a Mad Hatter's Tea Party table.
I liked those, too! So fun to see how different people's tastes can be!
Your smoked wineglasses at 5.22 are Rhapsody glasses by designer Sven Palmqvist for Orrefors Sweden
How can you tell?
Loved the vase with the crows!!
Me, too. Couldn't believe you passed that one up, Laura!
DAMN That Penguin ice bucket gets me everytime🤣🐧
They’re everywhere!!! 🐧🐧🐧🐧
That music you play with it, brings out my smile every time!
And I loved your reflection's cute little conspiratorial wave in the 2nd one! Made me chuckle lol
Great haul,Laura. You arrange vignettes so well. You make it look so sophisticated.
Oh thank you! ❤️
I love shipping along with you! The large German ceramic piece with the handle says Handarbeit which means handmade, and the blue and white patterned ceramic vase looks distinctly like Polish pottery, rather than Finnish.
PS I suspect the tropical bird painting is from the 40s-50s. The frame looks really 50s quasi French provincial to me.
The blue and white pottery reminds us of Boleslaweic from Poland.
It’s so interesting when you insert a picture of how much something you’ve purchased is selling for online. I’m learning so much from your videos! And it’s cool that you share how much you pay for things. You know there’s a collective cheer from all of us when find an awesome deal!!!

Yes, the crow piece really caught my eye, as well.
I think your staging is stunning! I have aspirations of emulating something similar one day. Currently it's an excuse to buy cool things whilst thinking 'I can use that in a vignette like Laura' then end up stashing them away in a box to forget I have them! ❤

@@rebeccathrelkeld7845 I wish I could show you a picture of my 'collection' ...it's not exactly curated more an eclectic mix!!
Ahhh! I just made my first £100 flipping thanks to you Laura. Question to all the flippers - HOW do you part with your finds? That's the most difficult part!!
Ugh I have such a hard time parting!
I like the styling up bits...some youtubers by loads of stuff and then it disappears into boxes and piles of messy stuff. The way you do it, it makes all your buys look so special.
I’ve said it before…your staging skills are stellar!

Couldn't agree more about German pottery they're always so interesting. Cannot decide what I love more the treasure hunting adventures or the staging!
Laura - the styling is my favourite part! I love shopping along with you but it is your personal design style and styling skills I truly admire! ❤️
I absolutely love your personality and beautiful creative flair. You are one of my favorite content creators.
I love the thrift/vintage shopping...love learning...love your styling...love the penguin buckets lol. Great great vids
Whenever I go thrifting i find cool decorative things and get them. To only remember I live at home and can't decorate with them. So they are stuck in my overfilled room haha. Like a cool plate I found and can't use yet haha. Guess I am just thinking for the future
I do the same thing lol I have several plates and mugs
I’m right there with you. Same for me as well.
Your staging is eye candy for the love of mid century design! Everything you buy, I would buy as well. FYI, love when you find the penguin ice coolers. They were made in West Bend Wi where I happen to live. :)
Laura, watching you and listening to your knowledge about all that is vintage and antique is simply incredible. It’s why I watch! Thank you so much!
WOW. you outdid yourself in these last two videos. So many treasures. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the vintage basket. It's gorgeous.
What a wonderful shopping experience! I'm so happy to see you found not one but TWO penguin ice buckets!!
That first shop reminds me of Granny's Attic in Puyallup. It's always a surprise when I go in. It's so clean and organized because the volunteers are amazing.
I love watching your shopping trips and how you style all of your great finds.

That pistol and mortar just reminds me of my grandmother she has something similar...
Thanks Laura you got TREASURES ❤
Oh yeas!... looked up Denise Harris, extremely talented and multidisciplinary local artist. Thanks for introducing her
Oh my goodness!!! Those mushrooms at 23:39!!! How did I miss those?! Your videos, your music, your style....Love, Love, Love!

@Nicky L I'm pretty sure that was an auto-correct error. It is a Spanish word, I believe. So "cholla" is pronounced ""CHOY-uh".
Love your videos and staging! I think that pottery vase looks like Polish pottery.
Did u buy the pottery with the crows on it? Loved that!❤
Me too... Im crow mad and the orange contrast was stunning.
Me three! That tiny glimpse got me excited and couldn’t believe she passed it up.

I just opened a booth in an antique mall in Michigan and am trying to learn more about what to sell. By the way, my Mom and her family are from Washington! Thank you for your wonderful channel!!
Wow the prices are amazing at that Antique/ Vintage store, great buys
Fun shopping with you thanks for taking us along.I just love your content so much
I love when you style your finds.
It’s funny that I commented on “part one” that you were going to all the places I have family. Plus my brother being in Port Orchard and you should go there. And here you are!!!!🤣🤣🤣
Ah, you were in our area and we missed you!!! Boo!!! Glad you made it up this way!!! Love your videos!!
Love to see your decorating as well as your treasure hunting!!! 🦘
I for one very much enjoy watching you at the end when you show how to stage things😊
I've been drawn to Greek horses lately, and here one shows up again. Beautiful!! Curious what you'd list it for.
Loved the painting of the cranes!!!
You have such a good eye and describe your vision well. So smart. Love it
Cue the music for Penguin Hot & Cold servers!😂 I think the hat would be cute with the ties in a loose knot behind your head.
I loved the baskets and the birdpainting.
Always love your styling XXX
Love the old with the new!!🦘
Fantastic haul today.
My favorite is the vase with the copper.
0:35 I love your videos. Did I miss the price of the fan shaped vase that looked like a bettosi?
Looks sweet tied. Good for a windy day!
LOVE the hat! It looks so cute with the ties hanging down.
This was a fun trip, and you got some great things.👍
You should do “the penguin project” where everyone sends you a picture of their penguin ice bucket find with the location and date listed. It would be really interesting to see how many are out there!
Haha I love this idea!!!
I loved so many pieces that you picked up. The woven basket in blue is beautiful. I have some from Iran but they are different colors. The antique store was a bargain hunters paradise!
Hi Laura good morning happy Tuesday morning and I hope you having amazing day today and I loved your vlogs and you are amazing Supporter and I'm proud of you
Good morning Edward! Thank you so much! 😊 Thank you for watching and being so supportive!
Caution: birdwatching is as addictive as thrifting! Great shop-a-long!! ❤
