That's a good man 👍 who builds them shelters for his farm animals ..& I've just started seeing your channel & I no you had 6 chickens killed & them your wonderful wife got stressed about it..it's AWSOME to see how much of a good husband you are..😊 it's cool to see how much you love your wife & all the work your making sure that her pets are Safe 👍
Just came across your videos the other day & am enjoying them very much. It definitely helps when you are a Jack of all trades (& the master of none) like so many of us. Like the Wall dear of a ' quarantine stall ' for any new livestock, but I think I would have put it at the far end of the barn to keep them farther away, less/no contact. Keep the videos coming.
I keep wondering if you are planning to move the rabbitry into the barn at some point. Looking forward to seeing your new addition to the farm. Been a while since I've seen a fainting goat. Looking forward to seeing the garden update loving all you posts as you enlighten and entertain me. Happy Homesteading!!!:):):)
I had never heard of "fainting" goats! Wow! You're never too old to learn new things. Is the fainting goat gonna be a pet? What work will it do for the homestead?
Your craftsmanship on the barn is excellent, so I am by no means criticizing, but I’m assuming this stall is going to be used as a quarantine stall. I would be concerned as to the openness between the two.
Right now the lower level in the barn is keeping about 10 degrees colder than outside. I don't think there is any reason to insulate it. The ground temperature helps keep it a steady temperature inside.
Why Fainting Goats Faint. Myotonic goats are known as “fainting goats” because when something surprises or frightens them, their muscles go stiff for a short time, and they fall over! ... The locking up is caused by a rare genetic disorder called myotonia congenita.Feb 10, 2015
why are you not using the light already wired in,, just need another run of lights and plug in, all down the walk way, you can pick up low voltag LED THAT RUN OFF A TRANSFORMER FROM 110 VOLT, THAT ARE REALY CHEAP AND GIVE A LOT OF LIGHT AND LAST, THEY ARE GRAT FOR BARN, AS ANY WATER THAT FORMS FROM THE LIVE STOCL DRIPS ON REGULAR LIGHT AND BLOWS THEM UP AS THEY RUN REALLY HOT. i wouldnt start building anything until i wired the place to have lights and plug in,,, as you will need lights a night when things go wrong, you dont want to be messing with flash lights when you need all hands on deck.. you have work light going so you must have some kind of power running to the barn of some kind, even if its just a long cord, just pick up a 4 beaker sub panel,,, ans put lights on one beaker and put plugs on a few barkers, but use 20amp brakers and #12 wire for the plugs, so you can run power tool. heat lamp.. for now if you are getting power by a cord, hook the cord into the sub panal for now until you run a under ground wire on a 30 or 40 amp breaker from the house or were ever your main service is, not having good lights and plugs is not only dangerous but so unhandy when building or worse a problem with an anamal at 2am
I used the solid wood wall to hang the hay feeder and mineral feeder. Plus it looks good. I have a bunch of tongue and groove lumber left over from our log home build. So why not use it.
Great Job, like the wood paneling gives it a finish look.
Hi..... Evan, thank you for sharing your video homestead 👋 bye 👋 bye 👋 bye 👋 🎥👍👍👍
Looking good guys
Great job
Really great video! Thanks!

I enjoy the way that you edit your videos. When a segment is lengthy, you speed up the time which allows for more content and limits monotony. 👍
Goat heaven. Those guys are pampered.

Your barn is going to be awesome when you're done with it! Pampered animals. My kind of animal home.
Th barn is coming together nicely. Well done.
Making really good progress on the barn.
Nice job thanks for sharing.
Looks like a lot of work ahead for you. The water supply and electrical supply will make working and taking care of the animals so much easier
Great video! Loved watching! We are going to upload videos soon!
Keep up the good work, I would love to see the lower level of the barn. Please do a walk through and let's see the potential down there.
Good job 👍🏼
Looking good, great job
Nice job 👍

Actually we have decided to get out of rabbits. And we are in The process of getting rid of them. We are going to move onto bigger livestock.
I had never heard of "fainting" goats! Wow! You're never too old to learn new things. Is the fainting goat gonna be a pet? What work will it do for the homestead?
The fainting goat is also known as a myotonic goat. It is going to be a pet. But it could be bred to sell the offspring.
@@CountryViewAcres Thanks for the reply. But yes, make it pay for it's keep. 😂🤣😍 No more freeloading animals! 😂😂😂😂
Why a fainting goat??? The barn is first class!!! You do great work! I love the barn series!
My wife thought the goat was cute, so she bought it. That is how my wife buys animals. Based on cuteness.
Nice job on the goat stall

New sub, in suggested playlist.
I like your videos, but could do without the background music

Wawoooo
Great job on the stall:). Do you plan on insulating the barn to keep the animals more comfortable?

Why don't you put the goat and sheep fence in the front too? Why the solid wall in the front?
