@RenegadeMediaGroup Movie trivia: Jim Carrey was channeling the original Riddler from the Adam West Batman show played by Frank Gorshin, who Carrey was a huge fan of. Knowing this, you can see in some of Carrey's scenes that is he being Frank Gorshin's Riddler. Which he does very well, given that his body movements almost matches Gorshin's movements down to the T.
I would say the first Batman movie (Burton) is the best. It's so atmospheric, Batman looks awesome and not overly intimidating. And it was done with just one villain, instead of a few at once. And of course the music! It's also dark, but not ridiculously so.
As well as Sam Raimi's Spider-Man 1&2 movies in Marvel. Not only there were enjoyably fun to watch, but they also show us a brand new version of Peter Parker/Spider-Man on the big screen back in 2002 and 2004.And there were also done with just one villian instead of a few of them at once (despite Spider-Man 3) And of course, the epic and iconic music composed by the same composer who did the Batman '89 theme and music back in 1989.And there were also dark, brutal, action packed, epic, heroic and relatable.
My opinion isn't that he was miscast, it's that the Riddler was miswritten and Carrey was misdirected. They clearly just wanted an evil genius version of Ace Ventura for their villain and told Carrey to go nuts because the kids'll love it. If they had written this Riddler like the one from the Arkham games or from Gotham and directed him to portray Riddler like that, I'm sure Carrey could've handled it, considering some of what we've seen him do elsewhere. But they gave him ridiculous and over the top writing and got ridiculous and over the top acting from him in return.
@@MoostachedSaiyanPrince True, but I much like Arnold Schwarzenegger as Mr Freeze, he was entertaining in how over the top he was. And you CANNOT go more over the top than Jim Carrey. Overall, I still love it as far as a performance goes. As a Batman performance goes...It blows hard.

I do really appreciate the extreme risks it took with its aggressive adult style, Ledger’s performance speaks for itself, and I do remember most of what it has to say. My most favorite is the 1989 Batman and my least favorite is Batman & Robin because Schwarzenegger ruined Mr. Freeze and the entire movie for me personally. Clooney is the most sorriest excuse for Bruce Wayne/Batman ever.
Favorite: Dark Knight Rises = Heath was definitely a better villain than hardy, but I love me a good conclusion to a saga Least Favorite: Batman and Robin = for obvi-ICE reasons
I say the Justice League/Batman Beyond epilogue episode is a much better conclusion to one Batman saga than the Dark Knight Rises. At least Terry McGinnis is an actual person who does have experience being trained by Bruce Wayne and will likely inherit the Wayne Estate from the nansion, to the newly-established Wayne Enterprises and of course the Batcave. But with Joseph Gordon-Levitt's character?! How is he even connected to Bruce Wayne if he's not even called Dick Grayson in the movie?! That's just stupid.
The reason why Tommy Lee Jones acted like he did, was to get payback at them for casting Jack Nicholson as Joker instead of him for which he was up for.
As far as I'm concerned people in Hollywood should lead by Joel Schumacher's example on how to handle criticism. BTW I do still enjoy this movie. Though I admit to being a total Jim Carry fan boy.

Catwoman refrence
My most favorite is the 1989 Batman and my least favorite is Batman & Robin because Schwarzenegger ruined Mr. Freeze and the entire movie for me personally. Clooney is the most sorriest excuse for Bruce Wayne/Batman ever.
Favorite: Dark Knight Rises
= Heath was definitely a better villain than hardy, but I love me a good conclusion to a saga
Least Favorite: Batman and Robin
= for obvi-ICE reasons
I say the Justice League/Batman Beyond epilogue episode is a much better conclusion to one Batman saga than the Dark Knight Rises. At least Terry McGinnis is an actual person who does have experience being trained by Bruce Wayne and will likely inherit the Wayne Estate from the nansion, to the newly-established Wayne Enterprises and of course the Batcave. But with Joseph Gordon-Levitt's character?! How is he even connected to Bruce Wayne if he's not even called Dick Grayson in the movie?! That's just stupid.
I just came out of the shower and this popped up,so I click instantly.
14:57 - Street!
I miss when the whole crew would react to NC.
Latrodectus bishopi is a red spider. Red and blue are also common colors for tarantulas. An adult Avicularia versicolor is red, blue and black.
32:39 "🎵Highway through the Batman Zone!🎵"
The reason why Tommy Lee Jones acted like he did, was to get payback at them for casting Jack Nicholson as Joker instead of him for which he was up for.
36:46 "Who is this Adam West he speaks of?"
Well, somebody's been listening to the riff trax of Batman Forever.
In an episode of one of the cartoon shows Justice League or Justice league ultimate. Batman did go into a coffee shop to get a strong cup of coffee.
23:40 -
*It's.* *A.* *Cone!*
As far as I'm concerned people in Hollywood should lead by Joel Schumacher's example on how to handle criticism. BTW I do still enjoy this movie. Though I admit to being a total Jim Carry fan boy.
My favorite Batman movie is The Dark Knight, and my least favorite is Batman and Robin
23:40 the cone scenes start here. It really cracked me up!
With you on those Batman glasses; I think my family still has the two that we got, though I forget which ones they were.
The "Holy Roasted Metal" line was from the next one. They added it in as a troll job & to make fun of the one-liners in the actual film.
Actually it is canon that he did change his name to that. So Riddler really did make it up!
32:12 Ralph Bohner? Hey, Schumacher approves.
I just noticed, why does Bruce Wayne need glasses but Batman doesn't, does he have glasses in the eye holes of his mask?
Spiderman had one way lenses in his mask, why not?
@@ZoanBlade90 or maybe this Batman had his vision got better because of his bat-nipples
Gamermark 2000 Or he just magically is able to see clearly when wearing the mask.
Oh, wait, I got confused, in this version it's the Bat-ass
Or he has Bat-contacts
10-Batman and robin (SO AWFUL😭!!!)
9-Batman Forever (enjoyably bad but still awful)
8-Batman The Movie 1966 (SUPER FUN)
7-The Lego Batman Movie (Surprisingly gets into Batman’s psyche really well!)
6-Batman Returns (Michael Keaton and Christopher Walken are my favorite things in the movie!!!)
5-The Dark Knight Rises (Absolutely adore this movie)
4-Batman vs Superman (extended cut only!!!)
3-The Dark Knight (Best Joker)
2-Batman (Need I say more?)
1-Batman Begins (I love how this movie makes Batman more like a legendary warrior than a high tech superhero!)
Though technically this isn’t a real movie.
Fanscription’s Batman Forever!!! Best Batman movie ever written. Has Rob Walker as Robin Williams as Riddler and Malcom as Billy Dee Williams as Twoface!!!!
42:01 to 42:08 That's what I'VE been saying all these years Ben! Finally, someone agrees with me!
Care to elaborate on that please
@@jonathancoco4568 basically, Tommy Lee Jones had potential as Two Face but campy direction ruined him
My top three favorites are the Lego Batman movie, dark night and Batman 89. Top two second favorites are begins and rises. 3rd favorite is Batman forever. Top two least favorite is B&R,BVSDOJ theatrical cut.

I remember when I was first getting into super hero movies I watched all of the original 1990s Batmans and loved the first three. Then I got to Batman and Robin and thought maybe it wasn't as bad as everyone said. Then Robin said "It's the hockey team from hell!" as they fought Mr.Freeze's hockey team. That's what I decided to not even try to defend the movie anymore.
Favorite: Mask of the Phantasm
Least:Dawn of Justice
Batman Forever was my favorite Batman movie next to the two previous movies before
jim carry is great

Those glasses were awesome too my grandma gave me two them and I went to thrift stores and conventions to get the rest of those mugs and I did got them
Another problem with this is yes bruce didnt want the riddler to start selling tv mind drvices but bruce would totally be like holy shit ok not that but we are definetly gonna get you and your tech involved in so many massive projects imagine brain controlled missles thus making the turn for the riddler void
As much as I love this movir, the two face they gave us SUCKS!! this is two face we’re talking about, tommy lee would’ve bennn amazingly dark!! We only got a glimpse in the intro before he reveals his face. Sad wasted potetnial
