Superman makes a conscious point of saving Lex Luther. But the energy from the kryptonite explosion removes his hair.
@Joker3384 The blending of human and Kryptonian dna should be either Bizarro or an evil Superboy, not Doomsday. For a moment I thought they were implying that the Joker was masquerading as Lex Luther in the movie and I was thinking wow that's clever-- Then I realized wait no that's too clever for this film.
Why didn't he use spear as his first move? Because if Superman would see the spear, he would run as fast as he could from that, Batman wanted to kill him, not to intimidate him, so first he needed to weaken him(by using cryptonite gas) and then Batman would have chance to kill him.
Master Xehanort Sorting out balistic parameters of kryptonite would take quite long and what if he'd miss? Superman's pretty fast, he could just dodge the bullet.
Frank Teryngel Superman didn`t even try to doge the Cryptonite gas bullet and I don`t think it wouldn`t be a problem for the world greatest detective and his supercomputer , how the balistic parameters for kryptonite is
As HeathAve and you guys said, if Zack Snyder stuck to being a cinematographer and just stuck to making movies look good, it'd be a lot better for everyone involved, that way, the director and writer can be people who know what they're doing and are trying to do one movie at a time, not cram 50 different things and a sequel hook into a movie that, by all intents and purposes, would have been much better if it had been split into several movies, each one with their own story, much like Marvel, give the viewers time to like the characters, see them grow, see them struggle, see then get stronger, etc. Which, hopefully with Snyder away from the helm, we might just get.
Maybe we can stop kicking Zack Snyder in the face for five seconds. He's not entirely to blame for every problem in this film. That's like saying George Lucas is sole reason the prequels sucked. People are so quick to forget that without George Lucas, Star Wars wouldn't exist.
The things I hate in this movie is the following: 1. Lex "Idiot" Luthor 2. "Doomsday" 3. Superman's funeral Reasons why? Lex's plan makes no sense, the troll is ugly as S*#% and makes no sense, and the funeral happens in the second movie, and isn't a big deal anymore after Justice Leauge. TONY STARK HAD A BETTER FUNERAL IN ENDGAME THAN THIS!!!!!!!! *F^#% THIS MOVIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!*
6:04-7:51 I think it’s his voice that sucks out the intimidation, at least from what I have seen and heard from clips of the movie. Because nothing says powerful and threatening like the voice actor of Blu from Rio.
Are you going to make a reactions to Channel Awesome's movie trilogy, Kickassia, Suburban Knight and To Boldly Flee? I realize those are all really long (with to Boldly Flee being over 3 hours long), so making a reaction to them might be tricky to do, but those movies are awesome^^ Also, I recommend Nostalgia Critic's review of Phantom of the Opera, it's great
You completely missed the point of that scene in “Batman V Superman” he does not stop his attack on Superman because their mothers have the same name, but it is because it shows to Batman that this man he thought was only just an alien that was only bent on destruction actually had humanity in him and was willing to risk his life to save the lives of others. Also the reason that the scene of Bruce’s parents being killed was in the beginning of the film was to show how he was unable to save his Martha, but is able to save another’s Martha!
@@mckenzie.latham91 How there is no other way to interpret it and all of the right emotions are there as well. One of the few scenes I cry watching from a superhero film!
Don't they do EXACTLY this, in Spider-Man: No Way Home? With the "redeeming himself by saving another person, because of the inability to save the first person"?
And then five years later, the animated movies did the death of Superman right. How? By focusing on the Doomsday battle and then splitting the story in two parts.
Personally, i liked BvS, but i admit there are some bad elements (doomsday) but its not entirely snyders fault it has bad aspects, studio executives made him add aquaman, flash, and cyborg to catch up with marvel, and he wanted to do different things with martha (making her secretly bruces mom under witness protection after the attempted murder that killed thomas wayne) and theyd learn they are actually brothers to some degree, it just wouldve been much better without studio interference, but like i said, i personally like BvS alot, so i can look past its mistakes Also: the warehouse scene is the best live action batman moment ever

I've never been able to find a good aquaman comic the one good image of him that I loved as a kid, was the way they wrote his personality in the Batman Brave and the Bold series ( which in my opinion was WB trying to see what heroes would replace teen titans because they were introducing a ton of people from DC that Batman normally wouldn't hang out with) but I loved the way Aquaman was kind of a softy in that series. He was kind and kind of goofy the way you may expect him to be since he's sort of portrayed as royal blood. He was very chilled and he liked to have fun. i remember an episode where aquaman was depressed because he came to the realization that he was getting older or something and he was making whale sounds when he was sad. I liked that idea. i'm not saying it needs to be a huge part of his character but I really like it when heroes are given a softer side.
Please react to What's in an Op by Mother's Basement (preferably starting with the Attack on Titan 2-parter or One Punch Man) and also Defendant Rick and Judge Morty from the Rick and Morty ComicCon panel (the original camera version, the official one put out by Adult Swim was stupidly censored).
I thought Affleck was a good Batman, but was a poorly written. He's a good actor, he just gets a lot of poorly written roles. The whole movie was poorly written, but Affleck did his part well. Favorite (live action) Batmans (w/o Pattinson): 1. Bale 2. Keaton 3. Affleck 4. Kilmer 5. West 6. Clooney May be a 2nd to worst film following Batman and Robin. But he was a much better Batman than Clooney and even Kilmer.
Can someone help me out? Back when the hype for BvS was strong and people were considering that this might have been good, the advertising inspired me to come up with a story I literally keep titling Beowulf vs Hercules. The idea I had was that the Goddess Hera was so desperate to make sure Hercules dies that she defiles the natural order of things, forcing Hades to pluck the soul from future hero Beowulf, telling him that if he doesn't kill Hercules, his soul will not go to peace (seeing as how Beowulf is about a hero who fights for honor, it would make sense that he would do anything in his power to make sure his death was worth it). I guess a big theme I'm trying to go for is what counts as "honor", what's the difference between doing something for good and doing something for fame? And before you guys say anything, NO! I'm not having the resolution being that they have something in common that instantly erases any hatred! In fact, I'm not entirely sure how I would resolve it. That's what I need help on? Is there anyone here who can think of a solid plot line for this idea, or perhaps a good resolution for the whole thing? So far, I have that Hera's attempt at defiling caused a dangerous disturbance and Beowulf and Hercules have to end up forming a temporary alliance eventually leading to them seeing their similarities and good values. Another idea I have is that Beowulf joins Hercules team so that he can get close to finish him, but after a few of the labors, he finds he just can't do it, resulting in Hera going desperate and forcing the fight. What do you guys think?
that wasn't flashpoint btw.. that was from Crisis on infinite earths.. and likely the future is Rock of Ages with the two combined together into one odd dream sequence.
Remember in I Am Legend with Will Smith you can see a Batman V Superman Poster in ruins in the middle of Post Apocalyptic Manhattan, even in a zombie take over people wanted Batman V Superman
AnIrishMusician No he is not. The guy is brilliant, take a look at Sucker Punch Zack Snyder: it is about a strong female character that speaks directly to the audience by using allegories of their own view on women/girls in pop culture through feminist history, and use their own familiar stereotypical action fetishes against themselves teaching young girls to fight against suppresses society and young boys enjoy strong female characters for how strong they are, instead of only their beauty. His other great films have also been cut down by Warner Brothers so I do not know why he keeps working for them. Other great films include: Watchmen Director’s Cut, 300, and hopefully we will soon see the release of the Director’s Cut of Justice League!

Something that really bothers me is the fact that he puts emphasis on the sixty in sixty-three when talking about Batman and Robin stats. That works if it's "Box office dropped by a shocking 78% vs (lesser movie) which had a 68% drop."
Honestly I thought that Batman held off on the spear precisely because it was TOO OBVIOUS. Even though Superman doesn't know about the Kryptonite, I think the unusual spearhead would make him suspicious and wary of it. A grenade filled with Kryptonite gas is far more likely to catch Superman unawares, and would help Batman get in close to use the spear on Superman.
You know why Marvel is so successful? They took their time unlike Dc trying to compete with Marvel. If Dc wanted to compete with Marvel Warner Brothers should of started with the cinematic universe earlier. With Marvel the cinematic universe started with five movies before the Avengers but it was worth the wait. What I'm saying is that take your time when making these universes.
Thing is though Suicide Squad didn't seem to have a very clear plot point. They're supposed to be bad guys doing the stuff good guys wouldn't do. But instead they're sent in to stop Enchantress from taking over, clearly making them good guys. There was too much music, not a lot of backstory to develop the characters (since most if any haven't been developed in movies) with Deadshot & Harley getting something of a larger backstory, Joker... let's not talk about him. At least in the animated movie Batman: Assault on Arkham the Squad was at first the bad guys throughout most of the movie, with really only Deadshot becoming a "good guy" in the end. Most of the Squad either betrays each other or dies. They later find out that the main reason they were sent to find the Riddler was not to get information from him to stop the Joker from detonating a nuke, but to kill him because he could deactivate the bombs implanted in them. Deadshot later teams up with Batman (somewhat reluctantly) to stop Harley & the Joker from detonating the nuke. Waller didn't seem to really care if they found the nuke, but if they did then that was alright, but she wanted Riddler dead as the "main" priority. Roughly the same length, better plot, the bad guys aren't instantly good 10 minutes into the movie & are more/less bad throughout... Assault on Arkham was just better. Granted you there wasn't much character development, though there was some, but you don't usually expect a lot of character development in animated movies, unless it's a part of a series. In "live action" movies, there is a level of character development that is usually expected, so that at least we know a little bit more about the main characters, whether through flashbacks or different plot point. It would have been better to have Suicide Squad be a 2 part movie, with the development of the characters/team is done in the first movie, then at the end, Enchantress escapes, leading to the formation of the Squad to bring her in or bring her down. With way less music. Though Luthor was kinda a lowpoint in the movie...and the motivations were kind weak for them fighting, but at least there were more clear points. It may have been really crowded, but I did enjoy BvS
EeveeParty97 They wouldn't have to react to it all at once. Maybe just one episode a week until it was finished. It would give the fans something to look forward to.
To be honest when I watched the Batman vs. Superman fight was a letdown. It was mainly Batman beating up Superman and the fighting was far to slow and clumsily choreographed.

Instead of "you're letting them kill martha", make it "Please, they're going to kill my mother"
Remove wonder woman entirely, except a cameo at the end, that leads up to the other characters (aquaman, cyborg, and flash)
Wow critic was actually building up to lex basically becoming joker from the beginning! 😂 I had a great laugh at that
I loved the guy who played Less Luthor in the review
ECL28E Lex*
No. That's not Lex Luthor. That's his dumbass twin brother trying to emulate Moriarity from Sherlock
For a moment I thought they were implying that the Joker was masquerading as Lex Luther in the movie and I was thinking wow that's clever--
Then I realized wait no that's too clever for this film.
Jesse Eisenberg should’ve been The Riddler, change my mind.
This is honestly my favorite review skit from the critic
This video has sad timing knowing that Doug Walker's mother died today.
Why didn't he use spear as his first move? Because if Superman would see the spear, he would run as fast as he could from that, Batman wanted to kill him, not to intimidate him, so first he needed to weaken him(by using cryptonite gas) and then Batman would have chance to kill him.
sooo, just to extend the run time then
Why use a spear anyway?? kryptonite Bullet .. Headshot .. finished.
Master Xehanort Sorting out balistic parameters of kryptonite would take quite long and what if he'd miss? Superman's pretty fast, he could just dodge the bullet.
GamingSage Yes, but weakening him before he'd try to actually kill him at least makes sense.
I heard Jesse Eisenberg was trying to audition for a different role, but ended up as Lex Luthor. I'm not sure about that though.
25:00 omg one of you talk not both! I can't understand both of you at the same time.
Finally. I was waiting for this. I love your reactions, you guys are awesome. Please keep reacting to NC videos.
Maybe we can stop kicking Zack Snyder in the face for five seconds. He's not entirely to blame for every problem in this film. That's like saying George Lucas is sole reason the prequels sucked. People are so quick to forget that without George Lucas, Star Wars wouldn't exist.
please do nostalgia critic Mad Max Fury Road!!! PLEASEEEE DO IT!!! I HAVE BEING ASKING FOR A YEAR NOW!!!! PLEASSEE!!!!
really wish I could hear you over the nostalgia critic during his killthejigger info....
The things I hate in this movie is the following:
1. Lex "Idiot" Luthor
2. "Doomsday"
3. Superman's funeral
Reasons why?
I realize those are all really long (with to Boldly Flee being over 3 hours long), so making a reaction to them might be tricky to do, but those movies are awesome^^
Also, I recommend Nostalgia Critic's review of Phantom of the Opera, it's great
You completely missed the point of that scene in “Batman V Superman” he does not stop his attack on Superman because their mothers have the same name, but it is because it shows to Batman that this man he thought was only just an alien that was only bent on destruction actually had humanity in him and was willing to risk his life to save the lives of others. Also the reason that the scene of Bruce’s parents being killed was in the beginning of the film was to show how he was unable to save his Martha, but is able to save another’s Martha!
It still comes off as really stupid and wasn’t properly done right.
FINALLY! IT'S ABOUT DARN TIME THESE GUYS WATCHED THIS!
And then five years later, the animated movies did the death of Superman right. How? By focusing on the Doomsday battle and then splitting the story in two parts.
oh, you want the new insult... let me see, TELL ANOREXIC GODZILLA TO CUT HIS HAIR, YOU HIPPIE!!!
They said original not lame dude
The picture of Lex Luthor playing with a Superman toy was weird.
It's funny because after watching this review, the ultimate addition explains a lot of problems
Turkish airlines?
Personally, i liked BvS, but i admit there are some bad elements (doomsday) but its not entirely snyders fault it has bad aspects, studio executives made him add aquaman, flash, and cyborg to catch up with marvel, and he wanted to do different things with martha (making her secretly bruces mom under witness protection after the attempted murder that killed thomas wayne) and theyd learn they are actually brothers to some degree, it just wouldve been much better without studio interference, but like i said, i personally like BvS alot, so i can look past its mistakes
Also: the warehouse scene is the best live action batman moment ever
I'm not so sure about the brothers bit.
Well instead of being mean to you and insulting you, I'm going to compliment and praise you, like I do in every video.
31:28 I Want THAT Killing Joke! Yes its creative liberty adding Dick Grayson to The Killing Joke but God DAMN That Sounded Good.
Never in my life have I clicked at a video this fast :)
43:15 plot for the squirrel girl movie:
She fights doctor doom. Tell me that this wouldn’t be freaking epic
17:13 still a better Joker than Jared Leto
Nate: I don't care if you can "mulit-task" now get to the task and fill my flask!
Ben: I see you with those Kahki's everyday, now if I may, do you ever change? I say Nay!
Micah: Do you ever leave this lair? Because, I DON'T BELIEVE THAT HAIR!
0:22 wut was that noise?😂
Maybe Superman would have dodged the spear so Batman had to weaken him, and watch cinema wins Batman vs Superman
In Batman Beyond, Mayor Gordon(Barbara) tells Terry that her and Bruce were a thing during her 'hero days'
please do nostalgia critic ghostbusters (2016)!!!!
Favorite (live action) Batmans (w/o Pattinson):
1. Bale
2. Keaton
3. Affleck
4. Kilmer
5. West
6. Clooney
May be a 2nd to worst film following Batman and Robin.
What do you guys think?
weird coincidence... I returned Death of Superman to the library, got into my car and then heard the first news report about Christopher Reeve's death
that wasn't flashpoint btw.. that was from Crisis on infinite earths.. and likely the future is Rock of Ages with the two combined together into one odd dream sequence.
This clipless sketch reviews are quite entertaining, please react next to his review of Ghostbusters (2016)
Remember in I Am Legend with Will Smith you can see a Batman V Superman Poster in ruins in the middle of Post Apocalyptic Manhattan, even in a zombie take over people wanted Batman V Superman
Darkling276 it might've
Zach Snyder is the Micheal Bay of DC movies.
Web Head yeah at least Zack synder is trying to tell a story Michael Bay is trying to look cool not telling a story
They were friends in college
AnIrishMusician No he is not. The guy is brilliant, take a look at Sucker Punch
Zack Snyder: it is about a strong female character that speaks directly to the audience by using allegories of their own view on women/girls in pop culture through feminist history, and use their own familiar stereotypical action fetishes against themselves teaching young girls to fight against suppresses society and young boys enjoy strong female characters for how strong they are, instead of only their beauty.
His other great films have also been cut down by Warner Brothers so I do not know why he keeps working for them. Other great films include: Watchmen Director’s Cut, 300, and hopefully we will soon see the release of the Director’s Cut of Justice League!
10:46 Tell me. Do you have insurance? You better.
I would love to see a podcast from you guys.
Okay time to throw you my best insult. You all have an extremely nice complexion. I enjoy having to hear what you guys have to say about every topic of that you basically cover on this show because you always given insightful view an opinion on everything regardless of the topic. Also I like your facial hair.
please do nostalgia critic commercial specials
Heres some original criticism y'all might be over weight but I am as well but from how it looks youd both be very handsome if in shape.... Boom mic drop
What brought that conversation in the beginning?
Truth is we were just sick and tired of seeing unoriginal hate comments. We want our trolls to put some thought into their insults. Try and give it some sting, atleast then we can enjoy the hate comments even more.
mmmmm lets see I got two jokes for ya.
1. Are you guys racist? Cause I feel like you're oppressing your couch. #Allcouchesmatter!
2. You know the difference between you guys and a thief? At least a thief knows when he's stealing!
Were those good enough? I hope they were cause that's all I got lol.
+Renegades React can you reat to nostalgia critic food fight
Icarus the jokes are okay but they are so stupid that not even a moron could laugh.
Brian Rodriguez .....i tried *single tear*
Squirrel Girl was able to defeat Dr. Doom in a cave! With a bunch of squirrels!
"If you're gonna insult us, at least have some originality!"
What? I couldn't hear you over the roar of your sweat pouring down your belly
How's that? =D
"That was stupid and so are you"
=(
you guys should watch nostalgic critic's old vs new for either spiderman or cinderela
You should react to NC's review of Man of Steel if you haven't already, it's really good.
I'm still waiting for them to react to Nostalgia Critic's Suicide Squad
Squirrel girl beat up and defeated wolverine to prove to powerman and his wife that she is strong enough to protect their child while they go on a date.. And it's not the first time she beat up wolverine..
React to Nostalgia Critic - Mad Max: Fury Road
what I don't understand is that Critic and Joe had Zack cowering under his desk, yet they ended up with black eyes?
I'VE BEEN WAITING! WAITING FOR SO LONG!
I do hope we can see you guys react to his Batman and Robin review and the debut of one of his running gags.
It may have been really crowded, but I did enjoy BvS
figure out how much pressure is at 14,000 + feet
I am so happy for this one, thanks guy
Please react to Nostalgia Critic's Commercials Saga.
That'd be amazing.
Oh my gosh, that'd be their longest Reaction. Although Id love it if they react to the upcoming Titanic Movie Animated Review for Critic.
Yes!
EeveeParty97 They wouldn't have to react to it all at once. Maybe just one episode a week until it was finished. It would give the fans something to look forward to.
I like the fact that Joe is wearing a Superboy t-shirt. I thought he'd be able to tell the difference.
To be honest when I watched the Batman vs. Superman fight was a letdown. It was mainly Batman beating up Superman and the fighting was far to slow and clumsily choreographed.
43:12
Well, looks like Ben's finally snapped....again.
squirrel girl beat thanos, the same thanos that most of avengers will probably die trying to defeat
The sea isn't really his domain, antlantis is... Also I've seen superheroes rip apart tanks before and I've also seen some rip apart universes
If you want a movie written by Doug, check out Kickassia, Surburban Knights and To Boldly Flee.
