Well from my Far Cry 5 experience the U.S Marshals are super cops
There is only one U.S Marshal in the game and he was tripping off bliss the whole game lol
LilaLude Yeah I'm sure they did that because the Marshal would definitely have probably gotten the guard. And Marshals are known to be very good at policing and such so he couldn't be better nor on par with the main character so they just made him trip balls and commit suicide. He was tough in the story fighting off two males and a female when your character wakes him.

That was the most realistic dialog in the movie. I did not like the parts where TLJ is dictating to local law enforcement what type of support they are going to provide, that’s not how it works. The USMS is frequently showing up, hat in hand, asking for assistance. Local law enforcement usually goes above and beyond. Support from other agencies in the field and on the task forces is the only reason an agency with 4K deputies can arrest 100k fugitives a year.

The Marshals Service became the official law enforcement entity for the South Pole through an agreement with the National Science Foundation (NSF) and the U.S. Attorney for Hawaii. In 1989, the NSF approached the marshal for the District of Hawaii to assist in setting up a legal presence in Antarctica. (Up to that point, there was no law enforcement and no way to charge and prosecute law breakers.)
Environment impact agreements were signed by all 26 nations who share mutual claim in Antarctica, but the United States wanted some way to enforce the law in the "American section" of the continent. The NSF wanted the Service to appoint a deputy to serve there.
The NSF sent two station managers from Antarctica to Glynco for training, and the Service appointed them as special deputies. The official swearing-in took place in Hawaii, the headquarters district for the American stations at the South Pole. The two special deputies rotate duty every other year.
The scientific foundation wanted Hawaii Chief Deputy James Propotnick, a career operational employee, to fly to the South Pole for installation ceremonies for the first special deputy assigned to the region.
"After a long time thinking about it - approximately one microsecond - I agreed," stated Propotnick. "To tell you it was a great trip would be like saying 'winning a $35 million lottery was neat."'
The South Pole is located 10,000 feet above sea level. The combination of elevation, extreme cold and humidity of one to two percent wreaks havoc on unprepared "visitors." Propotnick drank water constantly and lost it to evaporation almost as fast. The NSF outfitted the chief with clothing and classes on survival in Antarctica.
"I was told that there is no bacteria or living organism of any kind in Antarctica outside of humans, birds and penguins," stated Propotnick. "After getting the tour, I believed it."
Special Deputy U.S. Marshals greet all visitors to McMurdo Station, Antarctica, with a lecture and warns that serious crimes committed on the continent by Americans can be prosecuted in the United States.
So I guess the station had a serious crime problem before.

I’ve been thinking about it a lot. I was thinking about being just a cop after college and the Army but what I’m seeing right now from mayors and prosecutors is disgusting. They aren’t charging people who are committing crimes and they aren’t backing officers when the majority knows they were in the right and it’s disgusting. Rioters are getting arrested then let back out to do it again the next night. It makes me wonder if it’s really worth it. I hope this changes in the next couple of years hopefully!

My ex husband is a defense contractor, has his fancy security clearance, and all that crap. When we were still married and before Facebook got all strict about selling guns online he had put some guns for sale on fb. My ex was always planning for the end of the world. We had a freaking arsenal of weapons, millions of rounds of ammo, and tons of MRE'S. But one time we met a U.S. Marshall in Walmart parking lot to sell him a gun. It had me wigged out lol. We were both law abiding citizens (especially my ex with his security clearance) but here we were meeting a Marshall in Walmart parking lot to sell a rifle. He was cool. It was just weird.

SKYNET #2025 I was in the worst schools possible and I have a clean record with not a single charge and own my company so yeah the same schools lol. I went to oc hill In Mansfield which is a alternative school for people that get kicked out of other alternative schools for people that get kick out of regular schools and it’s located in one of the more ghetto neighborhoods in Mansfield. People I went to school have died from drug overdoses and gang violence more than half of the kids are either in jail or dead. So yes very much so the same school bud. Also never came from privilege my dad was imprisoned when I was six my mom worked over 100 hours a week to support me and my brothers and that still wasn’t enough I went days sometimes weeks without food and was homeless for 6 months when I was 16. It’s your mindset that brings you out of your situation not your skin tone now chill with all that bullshit.

While working Casino Security, the U.S. Marshals came in to apprehend an America's Most Wanted in our hotel. I was tasked with blocking guests from walking down the hallway he was on. Yes, I assisted them, WHO wants to touch me?!? Hahaha.

My experience with the Marshals was a great one & I'll never forget what a Marshall told me once when we worked together, he said "he will chase fugitives anywhere, even if he had to commandeer NASA's Space Shuttle, in order to chase you to Pluto, if needed".

But it depends on the situation. If you shoot a guy like 4 times who has like a knife not really self defence. (i believe)

It all really depends on your area. For instance, in my area/state, we have what's called a Castle Doctrine, which allows the person that owns or rents the home to legally use force to prevent bodily harm to you or your family. You also need to understand the difference between physical force and deadly physical force, physical being using blunt objects or items that will not stab, slice, or grievously wound a person. Deadly physical force involves guns, knives, hatchets, axes, etc, anything that could potentially easily kill a normal human. Self defense is a finicky claim in a home because it all depends how many times you slice/shoot the person. You're only really authorized in my area to use deadly physical force to the extent that it incapacitates the suspect and prevents them from continuing their robbery or murder. Any extra shot or slash you use could put you up for first degree murder. Check online for your state's laws and if you're not sure, call the non-emergency police line for your area.

I was raised very conservative and was actually Army Special Forces and worked at The Nevada Test Site after!! then my wife committed suicide!! and I had a lot of emotional problems after!! I started using drugs to cope!! About 5 yrs later for a first offense on a non violent charge I was sent to prison!! so I've been on both sides!! A lot of the LE community see only an ex con when they see me!! so it has to an extend jaded me!! seeing someone like you in your job restores a lot of my belief in people!! This is a great channel brother! I'm an officer here in Springfield Ohio fairly new just 4yrs on PD after working 7yrs as a deputy in the jail! Love being on the road so much better not being confined to a floor of pods that & our jail is WAY outta date! Stay safe & keep the videos man! I've heard similar situations to that where the suspect keeps his back to officers & wont show hands trying to get us to shoot or taze or do something so he can say "brutality"

My ex was a felon (didn't know that until a year later..) and when I found out, because he was arrested during a date, I went and removed the gun safe from the house we had just started renting and sold everything to a US Marshal that I had gone to school with.
Thankfully that gave me the money to get out of that rent house and totally ghost on that SOB.

I read on Google that one needs a bachelor's in either criminal justice, law enforcement, or criminology alongside with 3 years of police experience. Now, I was wondering if military police for the army counts as police experience. Because I would do that, then go to college and hopefully try for a place within the federal levels.

Enjoying the videos bro. A little while back I was going through my city's department's process to become a reserve officer and also started working dispatch as well. What is the common opinion about each one of those positions within a department?
The dude from storytime probably tried to recreate the scene from grand torino where at the end Clint Eastwood faces the mob and reaches into his pocket to get his lighter so the mob starts shooting him and will be arrested for his murder.
Straight talk LMAO, I was at a Braums store about 25 years ago and the Marshal Service took a guy down. No clue as to why they took him there, regardless they pounced on that guy so fast and hard with numbers he didn't know whether to shit or go blind and didn't get a chance to do either.
I've always wondered why they took him there as opposed to a spot with fewer people. But I can't say they didn't handle him because they did.
